NBC Pushes CHUCK, GRIMM Premiere Dates Back to October 28

By  |

NBC is gearing up for a two-night Halloween event on October 27 and 28, which would be fun except that they’re also pushing back the premieres of Chuck and Grimm in the process.

NBC announced today that their Thursday night comedies – Community, Parks & Recreation, The Office, & Whitney – will air Halloween-themed episodes on October 27. The following night will see the premiere of Chuck‘s fifth (and final) season followed by the series premiere of Grimm, originally scheduled for October 21.

The date change for the premieres is a little puzzling given that the Chuck season premiere has nothing to do with Halloween. Sure, Grimm is about what goes bump in the night, but I assume the second episode will be as appropriate for Halloween as the pilot is (our advance review of Grimm and interviews with the cast & showrunners just got bumped, too). Mostly, though, I’m peeved that I have to wait another week for Chuck.

What do you all think, is this a trick or a treat?
