Nice Boys
Nice Boy of the Week: Joseph Morgan
Joseph Morgan blew onto the scene as Klaus in the CW’s The Vampire Diaries, and after a tremendous build-up throughout the season, I think fans can all agree that he did an amazing job. We simply could not let this opportunity pass us by, so kind readers, a bit about our Nice Boy of the Week, Joseph Morgan.
Born in London, England, Morgan studied at the Central School of Speech and Drama in his late teens. From there he landed a part in his first series, Hex, airing on Sky One. He has also appeared in British series’ such as Doc Martin, Silent Witness, Ben Hur and William and Mary. Morgan’s credit go on to include supporting roles in Master and Commander, Alexander and the upcoming films The Grind and The Immortals, along with Henry Cavill, Kellan Lutz, John Hurt and Micky Rourke. Sounds like a great cast!
Nothing more is really known about Joseph except that he is quite the Twitter geek. According to his comments during a Q & A with The TV Chick, Joseph admitted, “That’s probably one of my shameful secrets. I am kind of addicted to Twitter. I’ve all but given Facebook up now, because I can’t stop Tweeting. Like you said, I’m just kind of invested in the genre anyway and I’m a fan myself. I’m a fan of that, and many other things. And I like throwing things out there and seeing if people have had similar experiences to me reading a book or seeing a film, or whatever. [We’re] geeks, all of us together.” (The TV Chick) However, Joseph, for us who can’t move away from our Facebook pages, please come back!
I love that Morgan is a fan of The Vampire Diaries. He immersed himself in the role of Klaus after ingesting all the information he could from watching the series’ previous season to reading what fans were saying online. His talent along with his beautiful blue eyes and curly locks, is more than enough to award him Nice Boy status. We were also very excited to see him listed as a series regular in season 3 of The Vampire Diaries.
