In this week’s spoilers, we’re checking in with some of our favorite TV families to see what’s coming up for them.

No Ordinary Family

In an episode set to air in January, George inadvertently gets credit for one of Jim’s saves, which causes some friction between the two even as Detective Cordero gets even more suspicious of Jim. Meanwhile, J.J. joins a local MENSA club where he meets a girl whose hotness causes his powers to short-circuit and Katie starts dating a mysterious man who gives Daphne reason to be suspicious as well.

Modern Family

In next week’s episode, Jay finds himself in an awkward position with acquaintances, and Gloria’s attempts to explain his behavior just make things worse. Mitchell bumps into the girl he took to the prom, and maybe hooked up with at their reunion, much to Cameron’s amusement. It’s less funny when Mitchell sees her with another red head. Meanwhile, Phil and Claire try to prove their intelligence by going to see a foreign film.
