Nice Boy of the Week: Jason Ritter
Jason Ritter is currently starring in the new NBC series, The Event. I’m really enjoying this show, particularly Jason. Sadly, I have not had the pleasure of seeing anything else Jason has done, so this is a new experience for me. I am usually pretty familiar with our Nice Boys’ work, but this time I’ll be discovering a “new talent” right along with all of you.
Of course, Jason is first known for his father, the late John Ritter. However, Jason is well on his way to making a name for himself apart from John. Jason was born in L.A. and made his first appearance in The “Dreamer of Oz: The L. Frank Baum Story” in 1990, and from there made appearances in various TV and film ventures, including Undressed, Hack, Player$, Joan of Arcadia and The Class.
Jason is currently starring in the NBC series, The Event, playing Sean Walker, a freelance video game programmer caught up in government conspiracy we know little about so far.
You can catch Jason Ritter next in “The Dry Land,” opposite America Ferrera, Ryan O’Nan and Melissa Leo. He’ll also appear in “The Perfect Family,” opposite Emily Deschanel and Kathleen Turner, “A Bag of Hammers,” opposite Rebecca Hall, and “Morning” opposite Laura Linney and Jeanne Tripplehorn.
Jason is certainly keeping busy these days which is good news for fans of our newest Nice Boy.
