Fall TV Calendar

With summer at an end and the fall television season getting ready to start, there is a plethora of programming to watch over the next month, leading into the holiday season. Keeping track of all that fall network programming, including season finales for a number of the summer cable shows, as well as holiday movies, will be nearly impossible.

Hopefully the following calendar will help you with your programming choices over the next several months:

SEPTEMBER

September 5 – The summer season finale of Leverage will air on TNT at 9 PM

September 6 – The Secret Life of the American Teenager will air its summer season finale on ABC Family Channel at 8 PM

September 7 – The summer finale of White Collar will air on USA Network at 9 PM

September 7 – Sons of Anarchy is back on FX at 10 PM

September 8 – The new CW series Hellcats will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: This new series revolves around Marti (Aly Michalka from the Disney series Phil of the Future), a pre-law college student from the wrong side of the tracks who, due to cutbacks and her mother’s carelessness, loses her scholarship. In order to stay in school, she joins the college’s competitive cheerleading team. The cast includes Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) and Matt Barr (Harper’s Island). Gail O’Grady (NYPD Blue), Sharon Leal (Dreamgirls), D.B. Woodside (24 and Buffy) and Jeff Hephner (The O.C.) will have recurring roles.

September 8 – The new series Terriers will premiere on FX at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: This FX series stars Donal Logue (Grounded for Life) as an ex-cop who partners with his best friend (Michael Raymond-James from True Blood) in an unlicensed private investigation business set in Ocean Beach, a community in San Diego. The cast includes Laura Allen (The 4400 and Dirt) and Rockmund Dunbar (Prison Break).

September 8 – Psych will have its summer finale at 10 PM

September 9 – The Vampire Diaries will be back for another season on the CW at 8 PM

September 9 – The new CW series Nikita will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Nikita centers on a fictional secret branch of the CIA, known as Division, which trains young assassins who are usually young people with a troubled background, often in prison and on death row. After identifying promising candidates, Division fakes their death and offers them a new life. The new recruits must learn to shut off their emotions to become efficient killers. The series stars Maggie Q (Mission Impossible III), Lyndsy Fonseca (Desperate Housewives), Shane West (ER), Aaron Stanford (X-Men movies), Melinda Clarke (The O.C.) and Xander Berkeley (24).

September 9 – Rookie Blue will air its 2-hour summer season finale on ABC at 9 PM

September 10 – The summer season finale of Eureka will air on Syfy at 10 PM

September 11 – The Syfy movie Mandrake will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A group of researchers in search of a mystical Spanish dagger are attacked by a cursed and sentient tree root, which dispatches the researchers one by one and will not be stopped until the dagger is returned to its rightful resting place. The movie stars Betsy Russell (the Saw movie franchise) and Benito Martinez (Saving Grace and The Shield).

September 11 – The Hallmark Channel movie Fairfield Road will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Noah McManus (Jesse Metcalfe from Desperate Housewives) is leaving his job with the Boston mayor’s office for a dream gig in Washington, D.C.; but in a single day, he finds out his new boss in Washington is a corrupt Senator who can no longer employ him and that his girlfriend has been cheating on him. Devastated, Noah travels to a quaint Cape Cod town. When he falls into the middle of a heated local election and finds love with the local bookshop owner (Natalie Lisinska), he unexpectedly finds himself at home.

September 12 – True Blood will air its summer season finale on HBO at 8 PM

September 13 – The summer season finale of Lie to Me will air on FOX at 8 PM

September 13 – The Closer and Rizzoli & Isles will air both of their summer season finales on TNT at 9 PM and 10 PM respectively

September 13 – The CW series 90210 and Gossip Girl will return for their seasons at 8 and 9 PM respectively

September 14 – The summer season finale of Covert Affairs will air on USA Network with a double episode airing (check local listings for times)

September 14 – One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected will be back at 8 and 9 PM respectively on the CW

September 14 – Parenthood will return to NBC for a new season at 10 PM

September 15 – Dark Blue will air its summer season finale on TNT at 10 PM

September 15 – Outlaw will have a special premiere on NBC at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: This Jimmy Smits led drama is about a Supreme Court Justice who resigns from the bench to start his own law firm as a way to more directly promote the ends of justice. The series also stars Carly Pope (Popular, 24 and Dirt) and Jesse Bradford (The West Wing and Flags of Our Fathers); Melora Hardin (The Office) will also have a recurring role.

NOTE: This new series will then move to its regular timeslot on September 17.

September 18 – The summer season finale of Being Human will to air on BBC America at 9 PM

September 19 – The final episode of The Gates will air on ABC at 10 PM

September 19 – Broadway Empire will debut on Showtime at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: This new show is about the birth of corruption in Atlantic City adapted from the novel by Nelson Johnson. The series stars Steve Buscemi, Kelly MacDonald, Michael Pitt, Michael Shannon and Dabney Coleman.

September 20 – Chuck will return on NBC at 8 PM followed by the debuts of the new NBC series The Event and Chase at 9 and 10 PM

Show Synopsis (The Event): While investigating the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée, a man unravels the biggest cover-up in U.S. history; a cover-up which shapes the very core of mankind as a whole, whose implications are life-changing. The large cast includes Jason Ritter, Sarah Roemer, Blair Underwood, Laura Innes, Zeljko Ivanek, Ian Anthony Dale, Scott Patterson, Clifton Collins, Jr., Bill Smitrovich, Lisa Vidal and Taylor Cole.

Show Synopsis (Chase): Chase revolves around Annie Frost (Kelli Giddish from the short-lived series Past Life), who is a U.S. Marshal deputy, and her high-priority fugitive-apprehension team that trace down dangerous criminals in South Texas. The series also stars Cole Hauser (K-Ville), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break) and Jesse Metcalfe (Desperate Housewives).

September 20 – House will be back with a new season on FOX at 8 PM followed by the premiere of the new show Lone Star at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Robert Allen (newcomer James Wolk) is a Texas con-man who leads a double life: As “Bob”, he is married to Cat (Adrianne Palicki from Friday Night Lights) while working for his oil-tycoon father-in-law (Jon Voight). Four hundred miles away, he is “Robert” in a second life with girlfriend Lindsey (newcomer Eloise Mumford). As he schemes to take control of the oil business, he must fight to keep his web of lies from falling apart, while being torn between the love of two women. The cast also includes Bryce Johnson (Popular and Pretty Little Liars), Mark Deklin (Riverworld) and David Keith.

September 20 – The new CBS series Hawaii Five-O will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: This is a contemporary version of the classic series about a new elite federalized task force that is formed with a mission to tackle crime in Hawaii. The team consists of Detective Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin from Moonlight and Three Rivers), a decorated US Navy lieutenant commander turned cop; Detective Danny Williams (Scott Caan from the Oceans 11, 12 and 13 movies), a newly relocated ex-New Jersey cop; Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim from Lost), an ex-Honolulu Police detective wrongly accused of corruption and relegated to a federal security patrol and Kono (Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica), Chin’s cousin, who is fresh out of the academy.

September 20 – Castle is back on ABC for another season at 10 PM

September 21 – Warehouse 13 will air its summer season finale on Syfy at 9 PM

September 21 – The anticipated summer season finale of Unnatural History may air on Cartoon Network at 8 PM (please check local listings for confirmation)

September 21 – Glee will be back for another season on FOX at 8 PM

September 21 – The season premieres of NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles will air at 8 and 9 PM respectively

September 21 – ABC will debut its new drama Detroit 1-8-7 at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: The series stars Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) as Detective Louis Fitch, a respected while deeply misunderstood man fighting crime of the streets of Detroit. The cast includes James McDaniel (NYPD Blue), Aisha Hinds (Invasion and True Blood), D.J. Cotrona (The O.C.) and Erin Cummings (Spartacus: Blood and Sand).

September 22 – Criminal Minds will air its season premiere at 9 PM on CBS followed by the debut of the new drama The Defenders at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (The Defenders): Jim Belushi and Jerry O’Connell star as two colorful Las Vegas defense attorneys who are the local go-to guys with an eclectic client list who are still looking to hit their own jackpot. Their law firm includes Lisa Tyler (Jurnee Smollet from Friday Night Lights) an enthusiastic young attorney looking to put her exotic dancing days behind her; and their young assistant, Zoe Waters (Tanya Fischer from Life On Mars), who is a spunky and sweet ingénue who is eager to please her bosses.

September 22 – The new show Undercovers will debut on NBC at 8 PM followed by the return of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit at 9 PM followed by the series premiere of Law & Order: Los Angeles at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (Undercovers): Steven Bloom (Boris Kodjoe from Soul Food) and his wife, Samantha (relative newcomer Gugu Mbatha-Raw) are a typical married couple who own and operate a small catering company in Los Angeles; but secretly, they are two of the best spies the CIA had ever known, until they fell in love on the job five years ago and retired. They are called back into service and that is when things start to get really interesting. The series also stars Mekia Cox (90210), Gerald McRaney (Jericho and Deadwood) and Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation).

Show Synopsis (Law & Order: Los Angeles): Yet another installment of the franchise series, this time focused in Los Angeles, the home of the rich and famous and the completely unscrupulous. From Beverly Hills to the seedy side of Hollywood, LAPD’s elite Robbery Homicide Division is on the case. The cast includes Skeet Ulrich (Jericho), Corey Stoll (Salt), Terrance Howard (Iron Man), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), Wanda De Jesus (CSI: Miami) and Regina Hall (Law Abiding Citizen).

September 22 – The Whole Truth will debut on ABC at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: The series will chronicle the building of a case from the perspective of both the defense and prosecution. The series stars Rob Morrow (Numb3rs) as a defense attorney who regularly spars with the prosecutor (played by Maura Tierney from ER), with whom he shares a history. The cast includes Eamonn Walker (Kings), Sean Wing (Beautiful People), Anthony Ruivivar (Third Watch) and Christine Adams (Pushing Daisies).

September 23 – Bones and Fringe will return to FOX at 8 and 9 PM respectively

September 23 – ABC will debut its new show My Generation at 8 PM followed by the returns of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice at 9 and 10 PM respectively

Show Synopsis (My Generation): Ten years ago a film crew followed the lives of 9 high school students – the Overachiever, the Beauty Queen, the Nerd, the Punk, the Jock, the Brain, the Rich Kid and the Rebel – in Austin, Texas just before their graduation. In the present, they are revisited to see how their hopes and dreams from that time have panned out. The series is set in present-day with flashbacks to the past. The cast includes Jaime King (Pearl Harbor and The Spirit), Mehcad Brooks (True Blood), Julian Morris (Pretty Little Liars), Keir O’Donnell (Sons of Anarchy), Kelli Garner (Lars and the Real Girl and Going the Distance), Michael Stahl-David (Cloverfield), Daniella Alonso (Friday Night Lights), newcomers Anne Son and Sebastian Sozzi.

September 23 – CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Mentalist will return on CBS at 9 and 10 PM respectively

September 24 – Medium and CSI: NY will air on CBS at 8 and 9 PM respectively followed by the premiere of the new show Blue Bloods at 10 PM

Show Synopsis (Blue Bloods): This drama is about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) is the Police Commissioner and the head of the Reagan family; he runs his department as diplomatically a he runs his family. The cast includes Bridget Moynahan (Six Degrees and I Robot), Donnie Wahlberg (Boomtown and Band of Brothers), Will Estes (American Dreams and Reunion), Andrea Roth (Rescue Me), legendary actor Len Cariou and newcomer Dylan Moore.

September 24 – FOX will air its fall season premiere of The Good Guys at 9 PM

September 24 – Smallville and Supernatural will be back for their final seasons on the CW at 8 and 9 PM respectively

September 24 – The new ABC series Body of Proof will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The series stars Dana Delaney (China Beach and Desperate Housewives) as a brilliant neurosurgeon at the top her game; but when her world is turned upside down, she resumes her career as a medical examiner determined to solve the puzzle of who or what killed her victims. The show also stars Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager and Shark), Geoffrey Arend (Trust Me and Garden State ), John Carroll Lynch (The Drew Carey Show and Shutter Island), Windell Middlebrooks (Scrubs and The Suite Life on Deck), Nicholas Bishop (Past Life and Home and Away) and Sonja Sohn (The Wire).

September 25 – The Syfy movie Sharktopus will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A research scientist (Eric Roberts) and his brilliant daughter develop a secret military weapon – a hybrid shark/octopus that can be controlled by electrical implants; but when the controls break down, the monster goes on a killing rampage at the resort beaches of Mexico.

September 26 – Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters will return for new seasons on ABC at 9 and 10 PM respectively

September 26 – The Showtime series Dexter will be back at 9 PM

September 28 – The new ABC series No Ordinary Family will debut at 8 PM

Show Synopsis: The Powell family goes from ordinary to extraordinary after a family vacation goes awry with the plane the family is flying in crashes into the Amazon River. When they return home, each of them soon discovers they now possess a unique and distinct superpower. The cast includes Michael Chiklis (The Shield), Julie Benz (Dexter), Romany Malco (Weeds), Autumn Reeser (The O.C.), Kay Panabaker (Summerland and Fame), Jimmy Bennett (Evan Almighty and Hostage) and Stephen Collins (7th Heaven).

September 28 – The Good Wife will return for its new season on CBS at 10 PM

September 28 – The Syfy series Stargate Universe will be back at 9 PM

OCTOBER

October 1 – FOX will air the season premiere of Human Target at 8 PM

October 3 – The season premiere of CSI: Miami will air on CBS at 10 PM

October 3 – The Glades will potentially air its summer season finale on A&E at 10 PM (please check local listings for confirmation)

NEWLY ADDED:
October 3 – Law & Order: UK will debut on BBC America at 10:30 PM

SHOW SYNOPSIS: Much like it’s US counterparts, the series focuses on detectives and the lawyers who investigate and prosecute crimes; but this time it’s set in London and stars Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica), Bradley Walsh (The Old Curiosity Shop), Ben Daniels (The State Within) and Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who).

October 5 – The last half of season one of Caprica will be back on Syfy starting at 10 PM

October 8 – The summer season finale of Haven will air on Syfy at 10 PM

NEWLY ADDED:
October 8 – The new Teen Nick series Gigantic premieres (check local listings for time)

Show Synopsis: Grace Gummer (Meryl Streep’s daughter) stars as the daughter of two A-list actors making her way along with her younger brother through Hollywood’s “It” cricles while trying to stay grounded.

October 9 – The Syfy movie Monsterwolf will premiere at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: On the outskirts of a small Louisiana town, a drilling crew sets blast charges to tap an oil deposit – releasing the Kachinawaya, a Native American animal spirit meant to protect Indian lands from invaders. The movie stars Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager) and Jason London (Wildfire).

October 9 – The Hallmark Channel movie After the Fall will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Andrea Bowen (Desperate Housewives) stars as a driven equestrian who suffers a near fatal injury during a horse show. Her protective single father (Greg Evigan) decides to enter her into an intense physical therapy program as part of a research study. There she meets a rough around the edges punk rock patient (Fiona Dourif) and her new next-door neighbor, an ex-cowboy (Rick Malambri) who encourages her to get back on her horse.

October 15 – Sanctuary will actually be back on Syfy at 10 PM tonight instead of on September 28 (and back in its old timeslot)

October 17 – The summer season finale of Rubicon should air on AMC at 9 PM (please check local listings for confirmation)

October 17 – The summer season finale of Mad Men on AMC should be aired at 10 PM (please check local listings for confirmation)

October 17 – The BBC America series Luther debuts at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: Idris Elba (The Wire and The Losers) stars as John Luther, a brilliant detective tormented by the darker side of humanity, shining a light into the hearts and minds of psychopaths and killers and the shadowy spaces of his own soul. The cast includes Ruth Wilson (The Prisoner and Jane Eyre) and Indira Varma (Rome).

October 19 – Tower Prep is the second non-animated series on the Cartoon Network that will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: This action thriller tells the story of a rebellious teen, Ian (Drew Van Acker from the online series The Lake), who wakes up one morning to find himself trapped at a mysterious prep school focused on tapping into the “unique potential” of its students. Ian forms a secret group with fellow students, including CJ (Elise Gatien from Smallville), Gabe (Ryan Pinkston from Quintuplets) and Suki (newcomer Dyana Liu).

October 23 – The movie Growing the Big One will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Radio DJ Emma Silver (Shannen Doherty from Charmed) is leading a chic life in Seattle when she finds her beloved grandfather has died. Traveling to Valleyville to take care of the details, Emma is stunned to learn her grandfather has left her his farm, along with a sizable amount of debt. To keep the bank from foreclosing, Emma decides to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and enter Valleyville’s annual pumpkin growing contest with his prized seeds. She reluctantly teams up with her neighbor Seth (Kavan Smith from Stargate Atlantis and Eureka) in hopes the prize money can save her farm and his business from going under. As Emma works to adapt to farming, grow the biggest pumpkin and win the prize money, she may actually find the greatest prize is one she can’t put a price on.

October 24 – BBC America present another adaptation of the classic novel Brideshead Revisited at 3 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Matthew Goode (Watchmen) plays Charles Ryder, an impressionable middle-class art student who becomes fascinated with the posh lifestyle of his Oxford schoolmate, Sebastian Flyte (Ben Whishaw). Charles spends the summer with Sebastian’s well-off family at their majestic estate, Brideshead Castle, where he falls in love with Sebastian’s sister, Julia. Over the course of two World Wars, Charles is immersed in the self-indulgent world of the Flyte family, and all the forbidden love and heartbreaking loss of innocence that involvement brings.

October 24 – Sherlock will air as part of the PBS Masterpiece Mystery lineup (check your local listings for time)

MINI-SERIES SYNOPSIS: Set in contemporary London – and based on the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle classic – Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) becomes partnered with his new roommate, Afghanistan war vet James Watson (Martin Freeman) to solve all manner of complicated crimes.

NOTE: Sherlock will also air on October 31 and November 7 on PBS (check your local listings for time)

October 25 – In Treatment will be back with new episodes on HBO (check local listings for time)

October 27 – The final season of Friday Night Lights will air exclusively on DirecTV (don’t worry it will air on NBC at a later time) at 9 PM

October 30 – The made-for-TV movie Red will air on Syfy at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie stars Felicia Day (Buffy, The Guild and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog), Kavan Smith (Stargate Atlantis) and Stephen McHattie (The Jesse Stone movies) and focuses on a descendant of Little Red Riding Hood who brings her fiancé home to meet her family and tell him about the family business – they are werewolf hunters.

October 31 – The new AMC series The Walking Dead will debut at 10 PM with a 90-minute airing

Show Synopsis: The series tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse and the survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln from Love Actually). Jon Bernthal (Eastwick and The Pacific) plays a former member of the police department, Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break) is Rick’s wife Lori, Laurie Holden (The Shield and The X-Files) is one of two surviving sisters of the disaster and newcomer Steven Yeun as an expert scavenger.

October 31 – Being Human all-day marathon on BBC America of season 1 and 2 episodes (check your local listings for start and end times)

NOVEMBER

November – The Disney movie Avalon High will air this month (check your local listings for airtime and date)

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the novel by Meg Cabot, the movie follows Allie Pennington (Britt Robertson from Life Unexpected), who is a new student at Avalon High. She is shocked to learn that her classmates are reincarnations of King Arthur and his Court. She begins to see parallels between her classmates and the past as she is researching a term paper on King Arthur’s legacy. The cast includes Gregg Sulkin (As the Bell Rings), Devon Graye (Dexter), Molly Quinn (Castle), Christopher Tavarez (Big Momma’s House 2), Steve Valentine (Crossing Jordan) and newcomer Joey Pollari.

November 6 – The Hallmark Channel movie Something To Be Thankful For will premiere at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Claudia (Daphne Zuniga from Melrose Place and Beautiful People) is an ambitious attorney striving to become partner at her law firm. But when Claudia has a run in with Gina (Faye Dunaway), a stranger who introduces herself as a Transpersonal Psychologist, Gina steps in providing Claudia an opportunity to see how the other half lives. Bumping her head, Claudia wakes up in an alternate reality as a wife and mother of two. She unexpectedly finds great joy in having a family and, after being pulled back into the real world, is far less fulfilled as a single woman living only for her career. Realizing how much she is sacrificing, she sets a new direction in life to make room for love and family.

November 10 – Lie To Me will be back for a new season at 8 PM

November 10 – Psych will return with the remainder of its current season at 10 PM

November 11 – Burn Notice will also be back with the rest of the episodes from its current season at 9 PM

November 13 – The Good Witch’s Gift will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Catherine Bell (Army Wives) stars as Cassie Nightingale, who has settled comfortably into Middleton with a successful boutique and is now engaged to Sheriff Russell (Chris Potter); but with only two short weeks till Christmas, the Sheriff is desperate to find the perfect gift. With no wedding date set, the Sheriff wants to give Cassie a family for Christmas this year and suggests they get married on Christmas Eve. But, as usual, things don’t always happen as planned and Cassie must use a bit of magic to give her new family that special Christmas.

November 20 – The Hallmark Channel movie The Night Before the Night Before Christmas will air at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Angela Fox (Jennifer Beals) and her husband (Rick Roberts) are too busy with their jobs to pay attention to the Christmas season, let alone their two kids, Hannah and Toby. The night before Christmas Eve, they are startled when Santa Claus crash-lands onto their roof, dropping his sleigh and reindeer in the backyard. Santa hits his head in the fall and can’t remember anything about Christmas, including himself. With Santa’s journey around the world in jeopardy of being cancelled, Toby, who still believes in the magic of Christmas, begs his family to get in the holiday spirit to help jog Santa’s memory. As the fate of the holiday rests in their hands, the Foxes must work together to get Santa, and their family, back on track.

November 27 – Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle 2 will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the book by acclaimed author Debbie Macomber, Doris Roberts reprises her role this Christmas as the enchanting Mrs. Miracle. When a group of troubled New Yorkers are each down on their luck, it is Mrs. Miracle (Doris Roberts) who arrives in town to single-handedly restore the true meaning of the holiday season.

DECEMBER

December – Special holiday episodes of Warehouse 13 and Eureka will air on Syfy in December. For Warehouse 13, Myka and Pete are called upon to hunt down a malevolent Santa Claus who terrorizes guest star Paul Blackthorne while Artie and his estranged father (Judd Hirsch) reunite after 30 years. Meanwhile, on Eureka, Global Dynamics staffer Dr. Noah Drummer (Chris Parnell) nearly absconds with a volatile experiment; the halls get seriously decked when Drummer’s unstable hydrogen crystal starts to grow at a frightening rate.

NEWLY ADDED:
December 6 – Men of a Certain Age will return to TNT for another season at 10 PM

TBD – The new drama Off the Map will debut later this year or perhaps mid-season on ABC and chronicles the lives of doctors at a medical clinic in the South American jungle. The series stars Martin Henderson (The Ring and Smokin’ Aces), Caroline Dhavernas (Wonderfalls), Mamie Gummer (Stop-Loss and John Adams), Valerie Cruz (True Blood and The Dresden Files), Jason George (Eli Stone), Zach Gilford (Friday Night Lights) and Rachelle Lafevre (Twilight Saga)

TBD – The new NBC drama The Cape will either air later this fall or during mid-season. The series covers the life of Officer Vince Faraday, a good cop trying to clean up a corrupt city; but when he is framed for murder and left for dead, he finds himself separated from his wife and son and forced into hiding. Now, inspired by his son’s favorite comic book hero, he takes the law into his own hands and goes after the powerful kingpin who framed him. The series stars David Lyons (Eat Pray Love and ER), James Frain (The Tudors and True Blood), Jennifer Ferrin (Life on Mars), Ryan Wynott (FlashForward), Summer Glau (Firefly and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Keith David (Lottery Ticket and Coraline) and Dorian Missick (Six Degrees).

TBD – The new NBC drama Love Bites is expected to air at some point during this season, but was temporarily put on hold by the network due to the pregnancy of its lead actress Becki Newton (Ugly Betty). When the series does air, it is to be about love and all the crazy things it makes us do. The cast is to also include Greg Grunberg (Heroes and Alias) and Constance Zimmer (Entourage and Boston Legal)

TBD – The Syfy movie Fossil will air at some point in the fall. The movie is directed by Colin Ferguson (Eureka) and is about a novelty store owner who accidentally brings life to three dinosaur fossils, the dinosaurs wreak havoc on the small town and local university. With the help of townspeople, the Sheriff fights off the beasts. The movie stars Raoul Trujillo (True Blood) and Steven Brand (The Scorpion King).

TBD – The Lost Future movie will air on Syfy at some point this fall. The movie stars Sean Bean (The Lord of the Rings) and is set in an exotic and dangerous world in which an isolated tribe battle for survival in a landscape overrun by terrible beasts carrying a mysterious and deadly illness.

TBD – Harry’s Law is another new show to debut on NBC later this fall or during mid-season. The series follows Harriet “Harry” Korn (Kathy Bates from Misery and About Schmidt), a curmudgeonly ex-patent lawyer, Matthew Conlon (Ben Chaplin from The Truth About Cats and Dogs), a recently fired high school teacher and Malcolm (Aml Ameen from the UK series The Bill), a young man trying to figure out life; three of the most unlikely people starting a law practice in the most unlikely place: a rundown shoe store. The cast also includes Brittany Snow (American Dreams).

TBD – The BBC America series Outcasts will air in the latter part of this year and will explore survival, sex, politics and the drive for power in a new post-Earth era. The cast includes Eric Mabius (Ugly Betty), Liam Cunningham (Clash of the Titans), Hermione Norris (MI-5) and Jamie Bamber (Battlestar Galactica).
