Nice Boy of the Week: Sendhil Ramamurthy

This week’s Nice Boy coincides with a recent conference call interview that Nice Girl, Melissa (shoots dagger-like looks of jealousy toward her), was lucky enough to sit in on. Sendhil Ramamurthy is well known for his role as Mohinder Suresh on Heroes, but to our joy and pleasure, he is currently playing CIA Agent, Jai Wilcox, on the new USA hit series, Covert Affairs.

Ramamurthy is a Chicago-born, raised in San Antonio, TX, actor who comes from a family of physicians. In fact, he studied for his own degree to continue in the family mold. However, after taking a course in “Intro into Acting”, to fulfill his requirements, he caught the acting bug and the rest is history.

Since doing Heroes, Sendhil has appeared in an episode of Psych, which was directed by his cousin, Jay Chandrasekhar. Clearly, USA Network loves him as we do. Before Psych, Sendhil was seen on Numb3rs, Grey’s Anatomy and others.

Covert Affairs is on my list of Must Watch shows each week, and the fact that Sendil adds his talent to that awesome cast makes it even more exciting. Talent, charm, handsome, gorgeous, curly hair, all qualify Sendhil Ramamurthy as our latest Nice Boy. By the way, he should always wear a suit on any project he does. I’m just saying!
