They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 56)
Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:
Torri Higginson – Best known for her role in both Stargate: SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis, Torri got her start in an episode of Forever Knight followed by appearances in the TekWar movies and the box office movie The English Patient. She guest starred in Highlander: The Raven and the Canadian series The City. She has recently appeared in episodes of Eleventh Hour and NCIS. She recently appeared in the made-for-TV movie Stonehenge Apocalypse with Misha Collins (Supernatural) and Hill Harper (CSI: NY).
Louise Lombard – Louise starred in the UK series Chancer and The House of Eliott and also had a recurring role in CSI. She appeared in the crossover episode between NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles. More recently she appeared in episodes of Stargate Universe and Miami Medical. She also had a role in the box office movie Hidalgo.
Diane Neal – Diane is best known for her role in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but she has appeared in episodes of Ed, 30 Rock, White Collar, NCIS and the made-for-TV movie My Fake Fiance. She has four projects in the works: National Lampoon’s Dirty Movie, After, Santorini Blue and Craftique.
Currie Graham – One of Currie’s first TV appearances was in an episode of Law & Order and then he guest starred in ER, Pacific Blue and Brimstone. After that he had a recurring role in the comedy Suddenly Susan. He followed this role with appearances on 24, Witchblade, Monk, CSI: Miami and The Drew Carey Show. He followed those with recurring roles in NYPD Blue and House. He is probably best known for his recurring roles on Desperate Housewives, Men in Trees and Boston Legal. He then had one of the lead roles in the short-lived series Raising the Bar. Most recently he appeared in episodes of Castle and The Mentalist and he will appear in the upcoming movie Henry’s Crime with Keanu Reeves and Vera Farmiga.
Matt Keesler – Matt’s first big role was in the box office movie Safe Passage with Susan Sarandon, which he followed up with a lead role in the made-for-TV movie A Brother’s Promise: The Dan Jansen Story. He appeared movies Waiting for Guffman and Scream 3 as well as the made-for-TV movies Dune, Rose Red, Snowglobe and The Governor’s Wife. He appeared in episodes of Ghost Whisperer, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Numb3rs. More recently he guest starred in Dollhouse and Leverage and is probably best known for his leading role in the short-lived ABC Family Channel series The Middleman.
Dylan Minnette – Dylan’s first role on television was in an episode of Drake & Josh but he will be remembered as playing Young Michael in Prison Break. He had guest roles in Grey’s Anatomy, Ghost Whisperer, Rules of Engagement, The Mentalist and Supernatural. He is probably best known for his recurring roles in Saving Grace and Lost. He had small roles in Snow Buddies and Fred Claus; and he will be seen in the upcoming movie Let Me In.
