They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 55)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Vanessa Angel

Vanessa Angel – Vanessa made her first appearance on TV in Baywatch then had a recurring role in Reasonable Doubts and made guest appearances in Melrose Place, Murder She Wrote and Veronica’s Closet before landing one of the lead roles in the syndicated series Weird Science. At the turn of the century, she appeared in several episodes of Stargate: SG-1, had a guest role in The Division and appeared in a number of B-grade movies. Her upcoming projects include Cougar Hunting, Hall Pass and Level Seven.

Courtney J. Clark

Courtney J. Clark – Courtney is a newcomer to the industry, starring alongside Hilary Duff in the ABC Family Channel movie Beauty and the Briefcase, but she’s got a number of projects in the works, including Seconds Apart, Immortal Cycle, Bed and Breakfast, Inventing Adam, Mardi Gras and Brother’s Keeper.

Alexis Dziena

Alexis Dziena – Alexis had her first TV role in the series Witchblade then guest starred in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Joan of Arcadia before landing a role in the short-lived series Invasion. She later appeared in a recurring role in Entourage. She has been seen in the box office movies Fool’s Gold, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist and When In Rome.

JR Bourne

JR Bourne – Some of JR’s first TV appearances were on Strange Luck, The Sentinel, Two, Viper, The Outer Limits and Andromeda. He had a recurring role in Stargate: SG-1 and the Canadian series Godiva’s. More recently he has appeared in The Dead Zone, 24, CSI: Miami, NCIS, The Mentalist, NCIS: Los Angeles, Fringe, Cold Case and Smallville. He appeared in the made-for-TV movie The Lost Treasure of the Grand Canyon, the direct to video movie The Butterfly Effect 2 and the box office movie Thir13en Ghosts. He has two upcoming projects: Alleged and Goodnight Moon.

Colin Cunningham

Colin Cunningham – Some of Colin’s first TV appearances were in episodes of The X-Files, The Commish, The Outer Limits and The Sentinel. He later appeared in the series Beggars and Choosers then guest starred in Dark Angel, Mysterious Ways, Smallville, The L Word and Andromeda. He had a recurring role in Stargate: SG-1 and Da Vinci’s City Hall. More recently he has appeared in Psych, The 4400, Men in Trees, Eureka, The Guard, Stargate Atlantis and Sanctuary. He has appeared in the box office movie Elektra alongside Jennifer Garner and in the made-for-TV movies Mr. St. Nick and Stargate: Continuum and Impact.

Brendan Fehr

Brendan Fehr – Much like his former co-star Jason Behr, Brendan is best known for his role in the WB series Roswell, but prior to that series he appeared in the movies Disturbing Behavior, Final Destination and The Forsaken. He also appeared in episodes of The New Addams Family and Millennium. After Roswell finished, he moved on to a recurring role on CSI: Miami and the movie Biker Boyz. He appeared in the ABC Family Channel made-for-TV movie Samurai Girl and The Cutting Edge: Fire & Ice as well as appeared as Booth’s brother on Bones. He has two projects in the works, including Fort McCoy and Paddyville.
