The WB Launches Four New Web Series For Summer
Looking for fresh shows to watch this summer? TheWB.com is coming to the rescue with new episodes of four different web series. Here’s a quick look:
High Drama 2: Against All Oz: The second season of this documentary follows the Freedom High School drama program in Bethlehem, PA, as they prepare The Wizard of Oz. From auditions to cast announcements to rehearsals to set design to the production, watch these kids as they go through the entire process of putting on a first class show. As a high school theater geek, I got sucked into the first few episodes, remembering the highs and lows of getting a show ready for the audience. New episodes are posted on Tuesdays.
Chadam: An animated adventure series, Chadam is a “chosen one” who lives in the island city of Vulture. He has the ability to change his environment using his imagination, which comes in handy when he and others go up against serial killer Viceroy. Not really to my taste, but you have to admire the quality of the work. New episodes are posted on Tuesdays.
Downers Grove: This series follows four immature friends who decided not to go off to college and stayed in the ‘burbs instead. Taking slackerdom to new levels, the guys have relationship problems (go figure), try to scam free food, and generally goof off while keeping to the Bro Code. Think The Hangover: The Post-High School Years. New episodes go up every Tuesday.
Exposed: What if your perfect life was suddenly thrown into jeopardy when mysterious text messages threaten to expose your past? Sounds like Pretty Little Liars, doesn’t it? Instead of teen girls hiding scandalous secrets, Exposed follows a college student who is engaged to a beautiful young woman, and suddenly finds himself haunted by his past thanks to some dangerous former associates. Watch the mystery unfold in new episodes every Tuesday.
