They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 54)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Nia Peeples

Nia Peeples – Nia made her first TV appearance in the show Tales of the Gold Monkey then appeared in episodes of General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, Hardcastle and McCormick and T.J. Hooker. She then landed a role in the TV series Fame, which catapulted her into the national spotlight. She appeared in the made-for-TV movies Swimsuit and Nasty Boys, which turned into a short-lived series of the same name, Perry Mason: The Case of the Silenced Singer and Return to Lonesome Dove. She appeared in the short-lived series Courthouse and Crisis Center before landing a role in the latter seasons of Walker, Texas Ranger. Most recently she has appeared in the soap opera The Young & the Restless. She will be seen in the new ABC Family Channel series Pretty Little Liars and has two projects in the works: Firedog and Between Heaven and Earth. Nia is also an accomplished singer and dancer.

Sarah Strange

Sarah Strange – Sarah’s first TV appearances were in episodes of The X-Files and Sliders then she appeared in the made-for-TV movie Mixed Blessings. She guest starred in several episodes of The Outer Limits and made appearances in Dark Angel, Jeremiah and The L Word following that up with a recurring role in the short-lived series Life As We Know It. She then starred in the shows Da Vinci’s Inquest and ReGenesis before landing a role in the series Men In Trees. She appeared in the movie Stargate: The Ark of Truth, in episodes of Stargate: SG-1 and Sanctuary and the made-for-TV movie Hostile Makeover.

Ally Walker

Ally Walker – Ally got her start on the daytime soap Santa Barbara followed by a recurring role in the short-lived shows True Blue and Moon Over Miami. She is best known, though, for her role in the NBC series Profiler. Since that time she has appeared in Tell Me You Love Me, Sleeper Cell, Boston Legal, Law & Order, CSI and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Most recently she has been seen in a recurring role on Sons of Anarchy.

Peter Mooney

Peter Mooney – Peter’s first big break on TV was in the series Falcon Beach and he appeared in the made-for-TV movie Absolution, which starred Samantha Mathis. He also guest starred in episodes of Being Erica, CSI: Miami and the made-for-TV movies 12 Men of Christmas and Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars.

Rick Ravanello

Rick Ravanello – Some of Rick’s first TV appearances were in episodes of First Wave, The Outer Limits and Seven Days. He later appeared in Without A Trace, CSI, 24 and Monk. He was in the box office movies Hart’s War and The Cave as well as the made-for-TV movie Trial By Fire and the online series Gemini Division. More recently he guest starred in Bones, Cold Case, Defying Gravity, Smallville, Numb3rs and Three Rivers. He also had a recurring role in Lincoln Heights.

Sterling Sulieman

Sterling Sulieman – Sterling had his first TV role in the comedy Half & Half and followed that up with a guest role in General Hospital as well as a recurring role in All My Children. He had guest appearances in episodes of Hannah Montana, Bones, Entourage and NCIS. He also had recurring roles in 24 and The Vampire Diaries.
