They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 53)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Sarah Hagan

Sarah Hagan – Her first TV role was in Ally McBeal then she had a recurring role in the short-lived series Freaks and Geeks. She appeared in episodes of Undeclared and Boston Public before landing a role as one of the Potentials in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. She has guest starred in episodes of Judging Amy, Grey’s Anatomy, Medium and Close to Home. Her movie roles include Orange County and Spring Breakdown.

Clare Kramer

Clare Kramer – Clare got her first big break in a role in the movie Bring It On, but it was her recurring role as Glory in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer that got her noticed. She appeared in the movies The Rules of Attraction, The Skulls III and D.E.B.S. She guest starred in episodes of Tru Calling, House and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. She has two upcoming projects, Endure and The Dead Ones.

Suleka Mathew

Suleka Mathew – Some of Suleka’s first TV appearances were on MacGyver, 21 Jump Street and Highlander. These appearances were followed by The X-Files, Profit, Viper, Dark Angel and Stargate: SG-1. She made several appearances in the series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven before landing a role in the series Da Vinci’s Inquest. She appeared in the original mini-series of Battlestar Galactica, a couple episodes of The West Wing and a short recurring role in The Dead Zone before landing a role in the short-lived series Men In Trees. She can currently be seen in the TNT series HawthoRNe.

Jason George

Jason George – Jason got his start in the daytime soap opera Sunset Beach before guest starring in Roswell, Arli$$, Girlfriends and Friends. He appeared in the short-lived series Titans and guest roles in She Spies, Half & Half, Boomtown, Without a Trace and Stargate: SG-1. He then had a major role in the series Eve and had a recurring role in What About Brian. Most recently he has appeared in the series Eli Stone and Eastwick and can be seen in a recurring role on Grey’s Anatomy. He appeared in the box office movies Clockstoppers, Barbershop and Bewitched and has two upcoming projects Wild Dogs and Off the Map.

Neil Jackson

Neil Jackson – Neil’s first TV appearance was in the short-lived series Blade: The Series and he had guest roles in Stargate: SG-1, CSI, How I Met Your Mother and Stargate: Atlantis. Most recently he has had a recurring role in Make It or Break It and FlashForward. He also appeared in the box office movies Alexander, Push and Quantum of Solace.

Johnny Messner

Johnny Messner – Johnny was just seen in the Hallmark Channel movie Meet My Mom with Lori Loughlin, but he got his start on the soap opera Guiding Light and made appearances in episodes of Friends, Angel and CSI. He also appeared in a few episodes of the short-lived series Tarzan and the movies The Sweetest Thing and Anacondas: The Hunt for the Black Orchid. He also had a recurring role in The O.C. and appeared in the short-lived series Killer Instinct. More recently he appeared in episodes of Burn Notice, Chuck, CSI: Miami and Cold Case. He has three projects in the works, including Caught on Tape, Deathgames and Hanger 14; and he will be seen in the pilot episode of the new ABC series The Gates.
