Nice Boys
Nice Boy of the Week: Jon Lindstrom
By special request, and thoroughly approved by Nice Girls, meet this week’s Nice Boy, Jon Lindstrom. Currently starring in the popular daytime soap, As the World Turns, Jon also starred in the long-running series, General Hospital and the spin-off, Port Charles. While his handsome features make him the prime choice for soaps, he is certainly not limited to them. You’ve seen him in films like Must Love Dogs, The Sacrifice, The Double Born, Oasis Cafe and Listen To Me, and he has recently starred in the upcoming rom-com Can’t Have It All, along with Wendie Malick (“Just Shoot Me!”, “Pushing Daisies”), and Chris Murrah in his feature film debut.
“’You Can’t Have It All’ sort of takes this lighthearted look at people’s misperceptions — of others and themselves”, said Lindstrom, “It was great to work with Jay, the crew and the rest of the cast. I am really proud of the work, and to be a part of the film.”
The film, directed by Jay Arnold, written by Arnold & Thom Cardwell, and produced by Fred Caruso, is in post-production. It is expected to premiere sometime this summer in the film’s setting of Philadelphia – and just in time for the festival circuit!
Jon is also an accomplished writer, lending his talents to The Hard Easy along with fellow Nice Boy Tom Schanley. The duo also collaborated on Head High, is the true story of a marijuana smuggler-turned-undercover government informant. Jon has written and directed many short films and directed television series’ for ABC and CBS.
Jon Lindstrom is the 2010 Emmy nominee for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and we consider him a winner already, worthy of Nice Boy status.
