Modern Family and Cougar Town, two of our favorite new shows air their season finales tonight, plus Mary gets a treat when Marshall’s dad shows up for a WIT-SEC project. Good times.

Modern Family – ABC 9/8c – SEASON FINALE
“Family Portrait” – Claire painstakingly plans for a new family portrait to be taken, but it seems like everything and everybody is working against her. Gloria and Manny go with Phil and Alex to a Lakers game* and end up having a very awkward moment on the jumbotron; Luke interviews Jay for a school project, and Cameron gets a gig as a wedding singer while Mitchell is home alone with Lily and a wayward pigeon.

Cougar Town – ABC 9:30/8:30c – SEASON FINALE
“Finding Out” – Jules and Grayson hatch an elaborate plan to break the news to Bobby that they’re officially dating, and Travis sees the wrath of a truly angry woman for the first time when he forgets his momentous seven-month anniversary with Kylie.

In Plain Sight – USA 10/9c
“Son of Mann” – Every few years, the Marshals Service conducts Operation Falcon, a nationwide sweep of open warrants and a legendary Marshal whose career spans decades, who happens to be Marshall’s father, comes to Albuquerque to run it. With Mary and Marshall, the Operation’s search for a fugitive leads to an unexpected connection to one of Marshall’s witnesses and while Mary welcomes the opportunity to work with Marshall’s father, Marshall must overcome his feelings of inadequacy and his father’s overbearing nature to protect his witness. Meanwhile Brandi returns to Albuquerque with a suspicious story about her disappearance and a surprise guest in tow.
