They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 49)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Nicki Cylne

Nicki Clyne – Nicki had guest appearances in Dark Angel, Smallville, The Dead Zone, The L Word and Dead Like Me. However, she is probably best known for her recurring role in the reimagined version of Battlestar Galactica. She also appeared in the movie John Tucker Must Die and the made-for-TV movie The Wedding Dress.

Sarah Foret

Sarah Foret – Best known for her role in the short-lived ABC Family Channel series Beautiful People, Sarah guest starred in episodes of CSI: NY, Gilmore Girls and Clubhouse prior to that. More recently she has appeared in Moonlight and The Mentalist. She was in the movie Lost Dream, starring Shaun Sipos (Melrose Place) and Michael Welch (Twilight Saga). She has one project in the works – the movie The Dead Sleep.

Lara Gilchrist

Lara Gilchrist – Lara started out in guest roles on Smallville, Stargate: Atlantis and Psych before landing a voice role in the animated Fantastic Four series. She then appeared in episodes of Bionic Woman, Blood Ties and a short recurring role in Battlestar Galactica. Most recently she has been in episodes in the short-lived series, Defying Gravity, two episodes of Supernatural and the made-for-TV movie Meteor Storm.

Garret Dillahunt

Garret Dillahunt – Garrett is best known for his role in the series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, but he has also appeared in the short-lived shows Leap Years and The Book of Daniel. He has had recurring roles in Deadwood, The 4400, John from Cincinnati, Damages and Life. More recently he appeared in Criminal Minds, CSI, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Lie To Me, White Collar and Burn Notice. He appeared in the horror movie The Last House on the Left, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and No Country For Old Men. He has five projects in the works: Burning Bright, Oliver Sherman, Keep Hope Alive, Unbound Captives and Baryo.

Sam Huntington

Sam Huntington – Sam is probably best known to genre fans as Jimmy Olsen in the box office movie Superman Returns, but he has also appeared in the movies Jungle 2 Jungle, Not Another Teen Movie and Sleepover. He appeared in episodes of CSI: Miami, CSI: NY and Veronica Mars. He had a role in the indie favorite Fanboys and a recent guest appearance in Human Target. He has two upcoming projects Tug and The Gatekeeper.

Adam Kaufman

Adam Kaufman – Adam had short recurring roles in Buffy, the Vampire Slayer and Dawson’s Creek before appearing in the made-for-TV movie Taken. He then appeared in episodes of CSI: Miami, Veronica Mars, Law & Order, Mad Men, CSI: NY, Monk and Cupid. He starred in the made-for-TV movies Loving Leah and the Lifetime movie Lying to be Perfect with his significant other Poppy Montgomery, for who he also appeared in Without A Trace. Most recently he has made appearances in Melrose Place and NCIS.
