Nice Boy of the Week: Fred Weller

Join us in congratulating our new Nice Boy of the Week,  Fred Weller, from USA Network’s In Plain Sight. Weller stars as Marshal Marshall Mann on the show, and Marshal Mary Shannon’s partner.  He is also Mary’s anchor and friend, although I think it’s clear that he adores Mary.

Fred Weller has guest starred on a few Nice Girls favorites, including Monk, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Law & Order: SVU. His film credits include indie’s such as “The Shape of Things” , James Tobak’s “When Will I Be Loved” and “The Business of Strangers” .

Weller’s passion, though, is on the stage and he’s been very successful there as well. Five of the six Broadway productions in which he has appeared have won or been nominated for Tony Awards, and seven of his nine Off-Broadway shows have received nominations at the Obie, Drama Desk or Lucille Lortel Awards. He has played opposite Stockard Channing, Alan Alda, Meryl Streep and Kevin Klein, to name a few.

Fred returns for season 3 of In Plain Sight on its new night, Wednesday, March 31, at 10/9 central on USA. Fred shared his thoughts with us about season two right here on NiceGirlsTV as well.
