They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 36)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Monet Mazur

Monet Mazur

Monet Mazur – Monet got her first big break in the soap opera Days of Our Lives before landing guest spots in Party of Five and Jack & Jill. She appeared in the box office movies Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, The Mod Squad, Blow, Angel Eyes, 40 Days and 40 Nights, Torque, Monster-in-Law and The House Bunny. More recently she has appeared in episodes of CSI: Miami, Cold Case, the pilot of Castle and Dark Blue. She recently completed filming Dead Man Running with 50 Cent and apppeared in a recent episode of NCIS: Los Angeles.

Valarie Ray Miller

Valarie Ray Miller

Valarie Ray Miller – Valarie is best known for her role as Original Cindy in Dark Angel, but prior to that she appeared in Family Matters, Malcolm & Eddie and In the House. Since then she has appeared in the short-lived shows Smith and Reaper and made guest appearances in LifeNCIS. and the new TNT series Men of a Certain Age. She was in the movie All About the Benjamins and Hollywood Confidential.

Tania Raymonde

Tania Raymonde

Tania Raymonde – She may be best known as Ben’s “daughter” Alex on Lost, but Tania got her start on Providence, and then appeared in several episodes of Malcolm in the Middle. She made guest appearances in The Guardian, NCIS, Medium, The Cleaner and CSI: NY before landing on Lost. Since then she has appeared on Bones, Cold Case, Crash (the TV  series), Law and Order: Criminal Intent and she will be seen in next week’s episode of The Forgotten.  She just finished production on the movie Trophy Kids with Ryan Eggold (formerly of 90210) and David Gallagher (7th Heaven).

Kurt Fuller

Kurt Fuller

Kurt Fuller – Viewers will know Kurt for his most recent appearance as Zachariah in Supernatural as well as his recent appearances on Psych, Glee and Eli Stone. But, he has been acting for over 25 years with his first TV role being in the original Knight Rider. Over the years he has made guest appearances in shows such as Quantum Leap, L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote, Chicago Hope, Providence, The West Wing, Judging Amy, House, Carnivale and The 4400 (among many others). He made several appearances in Alias and Desperate Housewives. He has appeared in the spoof movies Superhero Movie and Scary Movie as well as the box office movies The Pursuit of Happyness, Ray and Anger Management. Some of his made-for-TV movies include The Beach Boys: An American Family and Love’s Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder.  He has 4 projects in the works, including The Prankster, Nailed, BoyBand and The Group.

Bobby Hosea

Bobby Hosea

Bobby Hosea – Bobby appeared in episodes of Benson, Perfect Strangers, Knots Landing and 21 Jump Street before landing a recurring role in the critically-acclaimed series China Beach. From there he made guest appearances on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, Murder, She Wrote and Xena: Warrior Princess. He appeared in the series Pensacola: Wings of Gold for two years and then had guest roles in Any Day Now, Crossing Jordan, The District, The Mountain, Standoff, Cold Case, Heroes, Supernatural, Greek, The Closer and 24. Most recently he has been seen in a recurring role on Lincoln Heights.  He just completed the movie The Truth About Angels

Mark Humphrey

Mark Humphrey

Mark Humphrey – Best known to Canadian viewers for his work in the prime time soap E.N.G., Mark has appeared in TV shows such as Earth: Final Conflict, First Wave, Millennium, JAG, 1-800-Missing and CSI: Miami. He has appeared in the made-for-TV movies Living with the Enemy with Sarah Lancaster (Chuck), The Wives He Forgot with Molly Ringwald, Still Small Voices with Catherine Bell (Army Wives), Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story with Judy Reyes (Scrubs) and Hostile Makeover with Maggie Lawson (Psych).
