They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 31)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Rebecca Field

Rebecca Field

Rebecca Field – Rebecca is probably best known for her role as Janet on the short-lived series October Road, but she got her first big break in an episode of Monk followed by an episode of ER. She has most recently been seen in guest roles in Dollhouse, The Game, Hawthorne, Drop Dead Diva, Lie To Me and Private Practice. She was also featured in the R. Kelly video Trapped in the Closet.  She will also be seen in the upcoming movie Fifty-nothing with Jessalyn Gilsig (Glee) and Wendie Malick.

Camille Guaty

Camille Guaty

Camille Guaty – She started in guest roles in ER, Everwood, Joey and Crossing Jordan, but Camille is probably best known for her recurring role as Maricruz on Prison Break.  She also appeared in the short-lived ABC series The Nine and Cupid and had a recurring role in Las Vegas and just appeared in an episode of CSI. She also appeared in the box office movie Ghost of Girlfriends Past.

Danielle Harris

Danielle Harris

Danielle Harris – She is one of the queens of horror films, appearing in Halloween 4 and 5, Urban Legend, Left for Dead and Rob Zombie’s Halloween as well as the upcoming Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2, Blood Night and The Black Waters of Echo’s Pond. On the opposite spectrum she has appeared in episodes of Roseanne, Cold Case, That’s Life and ER. And, her voice has also been featured in the animated series Father of the Pride and The Wild Thornberrys.  She also about 6 other projects in the works, including Hatchet 2 and Night of the Living Dead: Origins.

Erick Avari

Erick Avari

Erick Avari – Erick’s face is probably better known than his name, appearing in the box office movies Daredevil, The Mummy, Encino Man, Stargate, Planet of the Apes, Mr. Deeds, Home Alone 4 and Paul Blart: Mall Cop. He has appeared in TV shows like Alias, Law & Order, Everwood, Judging Amy, The O.C., Dirty Sexy Money, Leverage, Life and Mental (and many more). He has also appeared as Suresh’s father in Heroes and appeared in the made-for-TV movie The Librarian: Return to King Solomon’s Mines. His current projects include Dispatch, Hachiko: A Dog’s Story, Three Veils and Hollywood Untitled.

Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson – Eric is probably best known for his role as Whitney in Smallville and then in the lead role in the Sci-Fi Channel series Flash Gordon. He has made appearances in shows such as The Unit, Ghost Whisperer, The Dead Zone and Criminal Minds. He played Teen Tristan in the box office movie Legends of the Fall and the made-for-TV movies Atomic Train and Oklahoma City: A Survivor’s Story. He will soon be seen in the Canadian series Copper and appeared in the recent made-for-TV movies Everest and My Nanny’s Secret.

William Gregory Lee

William Gregory Lee

William Gregory Lee – William’s first big role was in Xena, Warrior Princess followed by a recurring role in Dark Angel. Since that time he has appeared in episodes of JAG, NCIS, Nip/Tuck, Las Vegas and CSI: NY. He also appeared in the series Dante’s Cove. He will appear in the movies Hydra and Bitch Slap.

Using her favorite online handle, Rueben is an East Coast-bred gal who is now a permanent Californian and a lifelong tv-oholic.
