They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 13)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Lisa Lapira

Liza Lapira

Liza Lapira – Liza first appeared in a bit part in the movie Autumn in New York then she guest starred in episodes of Law & Order, Sex & the City, Without A Trace, Grey’s Anatomy, Monk and The Sopranos before getting a recurring role in Huff, Law & Order: SVU and Dexter. She is probably best known, though, for her recurring role of Agent Lee in NCIS. Her movie work includes Domino21, Fast & Furious and Cloverfield. She has most recently been seen in several episodes of Dollhouse and has three projects in the works, including See You in September with Justin Kirk and Estella Warren, Repo Men with Jude Law, Forest Whitaker and Liev Schreiber and Table for Three with Brandon Routh and Sophia Bush.

Hudson Leick

Hudson Leick

Hudson Leick – Hudson first got noticed in a recurring role on Melrose Place but also made guest appearances in Law & Order, 7th Heaven and Touched By An Angel before making hearts beat faster in her role as Callisto on both Hercules and Xena. She was the first victim saved by Tru Davies on Tru Calling and has recently been seen in CSI, Nip/Tuck and Shark. Her voice was heard in the fantasy movie Lords of Everquest and she appeared in the horror flick Hallowed Ground.  She also recently had the lead in a movie called Unconditional.

Vanessa Lengies

Vanessa Lengies

Vanessa Lengies – She is probably best known for her role in the TV series American Dreams, but she also appeared in number of episodes of Are You Afraid of the Dark?. She also had guest appearances in 8 Simple Rules, Moonlight, The Cleaner and Medium.  She had a recurring role in the syndicated series Monarch Cove.  Her movie roles include Stick It and The Perfect Man. She has been featured in the new TNT series Hawthorne alongside Jada Pinkett Smith and Michael Vartan. She will also appear in the movie This Might Hurt with Tom Amandes and Missi Pyle.

Andrew Keegan

Andrew Keegan

Andrew Keegan – He had a small role in the movie Independence Day, made a number of appearances in Party of Five and had a guest role on House. He then also appeared in 7th Heaven and made several appearances in the short-lived WB series Related. His movie roles include 10 Things I Hate About You and O (alongside Josh Hartnett and Julia Stiles). He has two productions in the works: Fast Glass and The Riot with David Anders.

T.W. King

T.W. King

T. W. (Ted) King – T.W is best known for his soap opera roles in Loving, the short-lived The City and General Hospital, but folks will remember him from the first season of Charmed, being the lead in the TV version of Time Cop and appearing in the final season of Prison Break. He also made guest appearances in JAG, Sex & the City, Frasier and The Division.

Michael Landes

Michael Landes

Michael Landes – He has appeared in the short-lived series The Wedding Bells on FOX, was the original Jimmy Olsen in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (alongside Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher), was the lead in Special Unit 2 and was seen in the box office movie Final Destination 2. He has appeared in the movies Lakeview Terrace, College Road Trip, Last Chance Harvey and the indie movie Possession with Lee Pace (of Pushing Daisies fame) and Sarah Michelle Geller. He will appear in the horror movie Homecoming with Matt Long, Misha Barton and Jessica Stroup and is currently filming the comedy My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend with Alyssa Milano and Christopher Gorham.  And, he was just cast in the movie Just Wright alongside Queen Latifah, Mehcad Brooks, Common and Pam Grier.
