Children of Earth: Day Two

By  |

As you’ve seen this week, some of the Nice Girls around here love Torchwood and we’re all excited for the season to start. Luckily for me, with Comic Con on the way, I secured (hopefully) some interview times with the Executive Producers and Director. But, as you can probably guess, with the con being Wednesday through Sunday, the very nice people at BBC America supplied me with the DVDs of the series so that I’d be prepared for the interviews.

However, there’s a fun by-product for all of you–I’ve already watched the entire series, and so before each other day this week, I’m going to keep a list of questions from the end of the day before to help keep the flow going (unless you want to watch the previous day’s episode at 8:00 PM Eastern, 7:00 PM Central on BBC America.)

Final reminder, each of these will contain spoilers for the day before.

Were you confused about those kids at the opening? It’ll take a bit, but there’s an answer in the mix.

Who is really after the children (and that poor old man)? Why are they making all of them stop and then speak in unison?

The whole premise of trying to kill Jack won’t work. I’m really shocked no one in the Home Office actually knows that. Why so stupid in times of international crisis?

Is Lois going to work with Torchwood to help them? She seems curious enough to do well later.

What in the world is the 456?

Roz lives in the Los Angeles area, and has been a long time California girl. Despite her better judgment, she enjoys shows about the shallow sides of her home city, but will also find time to watch iZombie, Jane the Virgin, and much more. With a love of history, she also watches anything that is grounded in real life, including Victoria and black-ish. Having worked with children, she also follows shows she knows they watch (reminding her of those days of yore for her in the process). Contact her at roz@nicegirlstv.com.
