In our continuing article series of actors and actresses who deserve more attention or perhaps even their own show, here are some more for your consideration.

Mika Boorem

Mika Boorem – Mika’s career has mainly been on the big screen, starring in movies like Blue Crush, The Patriot, Mighty Joe Young, Along Came a Spider, Riding in Cars with Boys, Hearts in Atlantis, Sleepover, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, Augustana, Gone and The Initiation of Sarah but she’s also been seen in Ally McBeal, Providence, The Tom Show, Dawson’s Creek, Walker Texas Ranger and Touched By An Angel. She has two projects in the works, including The 2 Bobs and Street.

Lindy Booth

Lindy Booth

Lindy Booth – She played Pizza Girl in October Road, but she’s also been seen in Relic Hunter, The Famous Jett Jackson, Odyssey 5 and The 4400.  She will be seen in the summer NBC series The Philanthropist with Neve Campbell and James Purefoy.

Heather Burns

Heather Burns

Heather Burns – Heather’s face is better known than her name because of her roles in movies like You’ve Got Mail, Miss Congeniality (and its sequel), Two Weeks Notice and Bewitched. She had a guest role on Law & Order, had numerous appearances on The Street and the short lived series Twenty Good Years. She’ll soon be seen in the movies Bored to Death with Jason Schwartzman and Ted Danson and Breaking Upwards.

Cameron Bright

Cameron Bright

Cameron Bright – He is probably best known for his role in the movie Birth where he starred alongside Nicole Kidman, who believed his character, a 10 year old boy, was the reincarnation of her dead husband. But sci-fi fans will remember him from his appearance on the TV series Stargate: SG-1 and the movies The Butterfly Effect, X-Men: The Last Stand and Ultraviolet.  He also starred in the holiday movie Christmas in Wonderland alongside Patrick Swayze.  And, it was recently announced he will have a role in the Twilight series movie New Moon.

Eugene Byrd

Eugene Byrd

Eugene Byrd – Eugene got his start in several episodes of Sesame Street then moved on to The Cosby Show and he had recurring roles in Promised Land, For Your Love and Crossing Jordan. Recently he has been seen in numerous episodes of Night Stalker, Heroes and Bones. His movies include 8 Mile and Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid. He has two productions in the works, including How to Make Love to a Woman and Bolden.

Alex Carter

Alex Carter

Alex Carter – Alex has quite a lengthy resume, including appearances in shows like Due South, The Pretender, Early Edition and Felicity.  He had a starring role in the short-lived series Veritas: The Quest and Point Pleasant.  More recently he’s been seen in Lincoln Heights, CSI, Burn Notice and Leverage.
