Upfronts 2009: NBC – Chuck Renewed, Lots of New Faces Coming
After much speculation from fans and the media, NBC unveiled their 2009-2010 schedule today. Here’s the scoop as it pertains to the Nice Girls:
Staying
Chuck – Huzzah! Chuck returns! Boo! We don’t get new episodes until after the 2010 Olympics!
30 Rock – In another awkward programming decision, 30 Rock‘s premiere will be delayed until the 6 SNL Weekend Update specials air on Thursday nights this fall.
Coming
Community – Chevy Chase returns to the small screen in this sitcom about a community college. Looks like a good fit for Thursday nights.
Going
Medium – We didn’t officially cover the series here at NGTV, but it was one of those series we liked to catch up on when we had the time.
NBC’s 2009-2010 Schedule
Looking at this schedule and trying to make sense of it is going to require charts and graphs. Here’s hoping viewers can figure it out when the time comes.

Note: After the Olympics, “The Biggest Loser” will air from 8 to 9:30 p.m. to make room for the new comedy “100 Questions for Charlotte Payne” at 9:30 p.m.

9-10 p.m. – “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”
10-11 p.m. – “The Jay Leno Show”
THURSDAY
8-8:30 p.m. – “SNL Weekend Update” (multi-episode run)
