The children concoct a scheme to make their holiday wish come true – and with the help of mice, an ice-cream truck, a few telephone calls and the magic of Santa – their plan might just work! Jack Campbell (Nicolas Cage) is on top of the world. He has a successful career, beautiful women knocking on his door, and a Ferrari to top it all off. Everything changes, however, after an angel (Don Cheadle) masquerading as a homeless man gives him a taste of what his life could have been like if he decided to marry his long-time love Kate (Téa Leoni) instead of letting her go years ago. Jack wakes up on Christmas morning to find himself trapped in a parallel life, now married to Kate with two children, his Ferrari traded for a minivan. At first resistant, Jack soon learns that wealth is not measured by money but by those you love. But just as quickly as his new life is given to him, it’s taken away. Now Jack has to take the lessons he has learned and make the changes in his current life before it’s too late and he misses out on another chance at happiness.
Finally, relax from all the holiday busy-ness with a special, ABC Family premiere, CHRISTMAS IN WONDERLAND. With a recent move and tough financial times, the Saunders family is facing a bleak Christmas. With the kids moping around home, Wayne Saunders (Patrick Swayze) decides to try and make the best out of the holiday by taking the family to the mall to get much needed Christmas decorations and presents. But when the two youngest kids come across a bag full of money, they believe that their Christmas just got a whole lot brighter. Unfortunately for them, the bag belongs to two bumbling crooks in the middle of a counterfeit heist and if they don’t get it back, their boss (Carmen Electra) will have their heads. The movie also stars Chris Kattan and Tim Curry. (8:00 – 10:00 PM ET/PT)
