Time Life Launches The Carol Burnett Show Official YouTube Channel

By  |

When I was a little Nice Girl, one of my fondest memories was when I used to watch “The Carol Burnett Show” with my parents and siblings. With the help of Vicki Lawrence, Tim Conway, Harvey Korman, Lyle Waggoner and whatever guest star they had on the show, Carol made us laugh till our sides hurt and our eyes were streaming. The funniest moments were the ones in which Tim Conway cracked up Harvey Korman or whoever was on with him at the time. My personal favorite episode was the one in which Lucille Ball guest starred with Carol. It was magical!

As an early Christmas gift to us all, Time Life is launching The Carol Burnett Show Official YouTube Channel. Fans will be treated to 22 full-length sketches, as well as interviews and more. Each week throughout the holiday season, Time Life will offer the gift of laughter with new full-length sketches and custom content posted on Carol’s #FavoritesFridays.

Additionally, Time Life is currently distributing DVD collections from the earliest years of the show with THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW: THE LOST EPISODES. Featuring original broadcast episodes from Seasons One through Five (1967-1972) hand-picked by Carol herself, these true treasures from the vault, not seen since their original airing more than forty years ago, reveal the very first steps of a TV icon. Fans can choose from a 6-disc collection ($59.95 srp) and a single ($12.95 srp), both available at retail, or from two exclusives only available at LostCarolEpisodes.com or by calling 1-800-950-7887. The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes Ultimate Collection, priced at $200, includes 22 DVDs, over 20 hours of specially created bonus programming, a collectible guest book and more. With the VIP Edition (priced at $400), Carol will custom hand-sign the cover of the guest book. Each VIP Edition will be numbered and arrive with a Certificate of Authenticity. All The Carol Burnett Show: The Lost Episodes collections arrive with numerous specially produced extras including:

~ A backstage tour of CBS Studio 33 where the show was originally taped;
~ Exclusive new interviews with stars of yesteryear and today, with Carol Burnett, Julie Andrews, Don Rickles and more;
~ Never-Before-Seen Bloopers & Outtakes.

Here’s a special message from the lady, herself:

The Carol Burnett Show debuted on CBS in 1967 and ran for 11 years, receiving 25 Emmy Awards and eight Golden Globes, making it one of the most honored shows in television history. TIME Magazine named The Carol Burnett Show one of the “100 Best Television Shows of all Time” and Carol Burnett has been honored with more People’s Choice Awards than any other actress.
