“Remedial Chaos Theory” – When Troy and Abed decide to share an apartment, they host a party for the group, which takes on an altered reality as several scenarios play out.

Parks & Recreation – NBC  8:30/7:30c
“Pawnee Rangers” – In an effort to fight the inequality of Ron’s boys-only wilderness group, Leslie takes her girls-only troop, the Pawnee Goddesses, on an adventure weekend. Meanwhile, Tom and Donna force Ben to join them for a day of relaxation, and Chris finds a reason to spend time with Jerry.

The Vampire Diaries – the CW 8/7c
“The Reckoning” – Despite all that has happened, Caroline is determined to see that Elena, Bonnie, Matt and Tyler all enjoy a traditional Senior Prank Night before the school year begins at Mystic Falls High School. However, when uninvited guests show up, it doesn’t take long for the evening to take a deadly turn. Damon convinces Jeremy that he can use his new connection to the other side to help find a way to defeat Klaus. Finally, Klaus deepens his hold on Stefan and uses him for increasingly violent and dangerous purposes.

Person of Interest – CBS 9/8c
“Cura Te Ipsum” – Reese and Finch surveil their latest POI, Dr. Megan Tillman, while she’s on call and after hours to unravel the threat surrounding the promising young physician.

The Secret Circle – the CW 9/8c
“Slither” – Torn between her loyalties to the Circle and her family, Cassie wrestles with the secrets she must keep from her grandmother. Nick is thrown for a loop when Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) adopts a new attitude and enlists his help to track down her family’s Book of Shadows. Faye is also recruited but isn’t happy about being the third wheel. Meanwhile, Diana is craving some alone time with Adam and arranges a date night so they can rekindle the spark in their relationship, but all six of them are brought together to fight off a dark force that threatens to destroy the Circle from within. Completely unaware of the new danger encroaching on their children, Dawn joins Charles aboard his boat to further their plans for the Circle, but is surprised to find that Charles may have more than business on his mind.

The Office – NBC 9/8c
“The Garden Party” – Andy decides to throw a garden party to impress Robert California. Dwight researches how to host a garden party and thinks he has made it a very classy event. Meanwhile, Andy’s parents (Stephen Collins and Dee Wallace) and brother (guest star Josh Groban) attend but make him feel self-conscious.

Whitney – NBC 9:30/8:30c
“A Decent Proposal” – Whitney and Alex have a movie night at home, but the evening soon becomes a competition over who is most romantic. Meanwhile, an edgy Lily anticipates Neal’s imminent proposal, sparking Mark’s mission to prove that women are more eager to marry than men.

The Mentalist – CBS 10/9c
“Ring Around the Rosie” – Jane notices a suspicious-looking man carrying a gun at a political rally and sets out to prove he’s a psychopath on the brink of committing murder. Meanwhile, Lisbon investigates the death of a photographer at the same rally.

Prime Suspect – NBC 10/9c
“Great Guy, Yet Dead” – When a good-looking stockbroker is killed mysteriously, Jane automatically suspects his wife. Meanwhile, Jane enlists the help of a hypnotist to fight her addiction to smoking. Elsewhere, Matt is furious when his ex-wife (guest star Lena Georgas) suggests Jane shouldn’t attend their son’s (guest star Max Page) birthday party.
