They Deserve Their Own Show (Part 16)

Here is the next installment of actors and actresses who are under-appreciated, deserving of more attention or perhaps even their own show:

Dina Meyer

Dina Meyer

Dina Meyer – Dina first appeared in several episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 back in 1994 then later was one of the leads in the short-lived WB series Birds of Prey.  She also appeared in the short-lived NBC series Miss Match.  Yet another short-lived FOX series Point Pleasant cast her in one of the lead roles.  Most recently she has appeared in Monk, Burn Notice and Nip/Tuck.  Her movie roles include Dragonheart, Johnny Mnemonic, Star Trek: Nemesis, Saw (and all of its sequels).  She was also in the made-for-TV movies His and Her Christmas and Crimes of Passion.  She recently finished filming the horror flick Piranha 3-D.

Ivana Milicevic

Ivana Milicevic

Ivana Milicevic – Ivana is probably best known for her role in the short-lived CBS series Love Monkey (alongside Tom Cavanaugh), but she has a long resume of guest appearances in series like Felicity, Buffy, Charmed, Just Shoot Me, CSI: Miami, Ugly Betty, The Unit, Chuck, Pushing Daisies and Without A Trace.  She has appeared in the box office movies Love Actually, Paycheck, Casino Royale and Witless Protection.  She also appeared in the made-for-TV movie Fallen and will be seen in the movie Beneath the Blue. She recently appeared in an episode of Royal Pains and has anoter project in the works called Coming & Going.

Natalie Morales

Natalie Morales

Natalie Morales – She made her big break in the short-lived ABC Family Channel series The Middleman, then she appeared in the Josh Schwartz online series Rockville, CA.  She has two other projects in the works, Boldly Going Nowhere and Freeloaders and she will appear in the Drew Barrymore/Justin Long movie Going the Distance. She has also recently been added to the cast of the new USA series White Collar when it debuts on October 23.

Rudolf Martin

Rudolf Martin

Rudolf Martin – After several guest appearances in All My Children, Rudolf appeared in Sliders and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He appeared in the movie Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula before starring in numerous episodes of 24. He made several memorable appearances in NCIS and Dexter, appeared in the pilot of Moonlight and was recently in an episode of Mad Men. He has five projects coming up including Hyenas, Firedog, Raven, Pig and Heisse Spur.

Niall Matter

Niall Matter

Niall Matter – Probably best known to folks who watch the Syfy series Eureka as Zane Donovan, Niall previously starred in the Canadian series The Best Years and made appearances in Stargate: Atlantis and the NBC mini-series Fear Itself. His made-for-TV movie roles include Beyond Loch Ness and Dr. Doolittle: Tail to the Chief. He also appeared as Mothman in the box office movie Watchmen. He just recently made an appearance in an episode of the Syfy series Warehouse 13, and he will be seen in tonight’s episode of Melrose Place.

Ryan Merriman

Ryan Merriman

Ryan Merriman – He is perhaps best known as Young Jarod from The Pretender, but he also starred in the short-lived ABC series Veritas: The Quest. He’s been seen in the thrillers The Ring Two, Final Destination 3 and Halloween: Resurrection as well as the Michelle Pfeffier movie The Deep End of the Ocean. He appeared in the TV movies Taken and Comanche Moon. He has four movies in production – The Last Horseman, The Hard Ride, Palominas and The 5th Quarter. He will also be seen in the Hallmark Channel movie Elevator Girl with Lacey Chabert (Party of Five).
