About NGTV
NiceGirlsTV.com was born out of a desire to write about and discuss our favorite TV shows featuring strong female characters. Because we fall into the female 25-49 demo, we decided to indulge our girliness and be as pink and frilly as we wanted. But don’t worry, we won’t forget to bring the snark.
Meet The Nice Girls
Editor in Chief
Melissa is a Kansas native with a love of TV and the Internet, happily combined at NGTV. When she’s not in front of the TV or computer (or both!), she enjoys reading, cooking, scrapbooking, and traveling. Melissa is addicted to British period dramas, especially romantic fare from Jane Austen and Elizabeth Gaskell. Her current favorite shows include The Mindy Project, The Good Wife, The Goldbergs, black-ish, Sherlock, How to Get Away with Murder, Lucifer, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She is delighted that The X-Files is back on television. Contact her at melissa@nicegirlstv.com.
Managing Editor

Using her favorite online handle, Rueben is an East Coast-bred gal who is now a permanent Californian and a lifelong tv-oholic. She watches at least 25 TV shows a week, goes to the movies as often as possible, listens to music every waking moment, reads every day and “plays” on the internet every chance she can. Some of her current favorite TV shows are Outlander, Sweet Magnolias, Wednesday, The Mandalorian, The Equalizer, Fire Country, Miss Scarlet, Hudson & Rex, SkyMed, The Rookie, Bridgerton, Cobra Kai, Virgin River, The Witcher, Leverage: Redemption and School Spirits. She is looking forward to the fall TV season, including the return of Outlander, Tracker and The Equalizer and the debuts of the new dramas Matlock, Murder In a Small Town, NCIS: Origins and Cross. Roz lives in the Los Angeles area, and is a long-time California girl. Despite her better judgment, she enjoys shows about the shallow sides of her home city, but will also find time to watch iZombie, Jane the Virgin, Arrow and much more. With a love of history, she also watches anything that is grounded in real life, including Downton Abbey and Manhattan. Having worked with children, she also follows shows she knows they watch (reminding her of those days of yore in the process). Contact her at roz@nicegirlstv.com.
Cay lives in the Boston metro area and admits to being a long-standing “pop culture junkie”. Her favorite shows are Arrow, The Flash, Lucifer, Blindspot, and Supergirl, Previous obsessions included Chuck, Person of Interest, Alias, Lost and The X-Files. Cay’s coworkers find it hard to believe her insistence that she watches less than an hour of TV a night because she always seems to know what’s going on no matter what show they are talking about. Her family just thinks that she’s “special”. In the hours that she’s not watching TV, Cay can be found reading Entertainment Weekly, cooking, or participating in any one of many outdoor activities. Follow her on Twitter @Cailie or email her at cay@nicegirlstv.com.

Her love of Comics, Sci-Fi, and Fantasy translates into her love of shows like Supergirl and The Walking Dead. Karen’s list of favorite shows also include Gotham, Chuck, Fringe, Parks & Recreation, Community, Archer, Orphan Black, and Doctor Who – just to name a few. Follow her on Twitter @Aleveria, find her at her blog, or contact her at karen@nicegirlstv.com.
Lexie is a Midwestern writer and blogger with far too little time on her hands and far too many dogs (four at last count, though three of them are small). She’s an avid TV fan and an even bigger Fringe fan. A writer by day and a writer by night (…wait a second…), she spends hours of that time she doesn’t have concocting scenarios to torture imaginary people in her head. Sometimes she even gives them a happy ending. Her favorite TV shows include Gilmore Girls, Fringe, Chuck, Everwood, Castle, Body of Proof, and Downton Abbey. She can be found on her own blog at Castle Inanity or on Twitter. Drop by and say hi. She bites, but she’s had her shots. Contact her at frea@nicegirlstv.com.
Mynda Bullock is the Creator of Digital Euphoria!
Mynda describes herself as an extreme southern speaker, big hair believer and professional geek. She is a fan of Vikings, The Expanse, Killjoys, American Gods and Lucifer. Follow Mynda on Twitter @PxlWvr or contact at Mynda@nicegirlstv.com.
Ange is the Girl from Oz who traveled the States. Teen dramas, rom-coms and superhero shows are her weakness. She also loves a good crime and medical drama (Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD are her current beat) and probably watches more TV than she can handle… You can contact her at ange@nicegirlstv.com.
Nicole ‘Bobcat’ Collins is a northern transplant living in the South, dances at inappropriate times, runs around in the mud and can pretty much be talked into anything if you promise her a donut or cupcake, with sprinkles of course. SyFy, the genre and channel, is a favorite past time and she is always on the lookout for her zombie apocalypse partner. Follow her on twitter @nicthebobcat.
