Michael has a new antagonist on Burn Notice while the Hank Med team deals with a ballerina who eats too much on Royal Pains. Welcome to Thursday night TV!
Burn Notice – USA 9/8c
“Question & Answer” – Michael faces a new foe in Detective Paxson (Moon Bloodgood), who has tracked down some explosives he has been hiding in a storage facility, forcing Michael to surreptitiously get them out before Paxson gets a warrant. Meanwhile, Michael and team must rescue a kidnapped child by using reverse interrogation.
Royal Pains – USA 10/9c
“There Will Be Food” – Hank, Evan, Jill and Divya attend a retirement party (for a 27 year-old!) where the retiree, a ballerina named Tess (Gilliam Jacobs), is thrilled when Evan expands her culinary horizons by feeding her hot dogs, Slurpees, and other foods she’s had to give up to maintain her dancer’s physique. After a few of these junk-food laden meals, she loses consciousness and Hank discovers she may have a potentially fatal heart condition. Meanwhile, Hank also cares for Jim (Victor Cruz), a fisherman with Hepatitis C, pro bono. A vulnerable – and less than sober – Jill also exposes some of her feelings to Hank after funding for her free clinic falls through. Andrew McCarthy also guest stars.
The Listener – NBC 10/9c
“A Voice in the Dark” – Visions of a missing girl prompt Toby to pursue a homeless man, who he thinks has information on her location. Soon, Toby begins to suspect that the man may also have psychic abilities.
