Pre-Order Dollhouse on DVD and Blu-ray

The amount of time between a show’s first run on TV and its release on DVD is getting shorter and shorter. Dollhouse‘s first season ends tomorrow, but you can already pre-order it on DVD and Blu-ray for it’s July 28th release. The 4-disc set will include all 12 episodes that aired on Fox, plus the much-discussed 13th episode that was filmed exclusively for the DVD set. Details about the other extras will be coming soon, I’m sure.

What do you think about the series being released on DVD so soon after it’s network run? Are you excited to be able to own it quickly, or do you think studios are pushing the DVDs out too early?
