“Lookin out for number one”

By  |

The first show I really enjoyed using the web was The OC, and I still have a special place in my heart for it. The people I know who love the show still find time to talk to me about the show and keep me grounded to the memories.

One of those friends was here in LA this weekend, and as we did once before, we made a trip down to Redondo Beach to visit the diner that was used in the show so many times. Each time I go back with her, we talk about the show and the good (and bad) times we had while watching.

This time, half of the conversation was about all of the evils of guest stars, while still enjoying the time together.

Of course, The OC is not the only show with which I have visit locations, but my few visits to places associated with anything else, never matter quite as much as this diner and my friend.

Roz lives in the Los Angeles area, and has been a long time California girl. Despite her better judgment, she enjoys shows about the shallow sides of her home city, but will also find time to watch iZombie, Jane the Virgin, and much more. With a love of history, she also watches anything that is grounded in real life, including Victoria and black-ish. Having worked with children, she also follows shows she knows they watch (reminding her of those days of yore for her in the process). Contact her at roz@nicegirlstv.com.
