The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as on streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air all throughout May:

May 1 – The finale of Happy Face will air online on Paramount+ today

May 1 – The movie Another Simple Favor will debut online on Amazon Prime today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the island of Capri, Italy for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman, which is interrupted by murder and betrayal. The movie also stars Michele Morrone, Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Alex Newell and Elizabeth Perkins (who takes over the role of Emily’s mother from Jean Smart, who portrayed the character in the first film).

May 1 – The comedy series The Four Seasons, based on the 1981 box office movie, will debut online on Netflix

Show Synopsis: Based on the 1981 feature film, six old friends head for a relaxing weekend away only to learn that one couple in the group is about to split up. The three couples, Kate (Tina Fey) and Jack (Will Forte), Nick (Steve Carell) and Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) and Danny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani), are completely upended by the news. Over the course of a year, the series follows the friends on four vacations, and shows how this shake-up affects everyone’s dynamic, sending old issues and new bubbling to the surface.

May 2 – The movie special Inheritance will debut online on AMC+

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Maya (Phoebe Dynevor from Bridgerton) learns her father Sam was once a spy, she suddenly finds herself at the center of an international conspiracy. As she seeks answers, Maya herself becomes a target and must quickly learn the skills of her father. The cast includes Rhys Ifans and Necar Zadegan.

May 2 – S.W.A.T. will now appear in its new timeslot of 9 PM on CBS starting tonight

May 3 – The Hallmark Channel movie Hats Off to Love will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Stella (Ginna Claire Mason) designs hats and fascinators for socialite Rosalind and meets her son Christian who’s training a horse to compete in the Louisville Derby. The movie also stars John Clarence Stewart (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and Holly Robinson Peete.

May 4 – The second season premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City will air on AMC at 9 PM as well as online on AMC+

May 4 – The new period piece drama Miss Austen will debut on PBS at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The drama begins in 1830, a while after Jane Austen has died. Cassandra (Keeley Hawes) races to see her young friend Isabella (Rose Leslie) who is about to lose her home following her father’s death. Cassandra is ostensibly there to help her friend, but her real motive is to find a stash of private letters which, in the wrong hands, could destroy Jane’s reputation. On discovering them, Cassandra is overwhelmed as she is transported back to her youth. In flashback, we meet Young Cassy and Jane (Patsy Ferran) as they navigate the infatuations, family feuds and dashed hopes which shaped their lives and laid the foundations for Jane’s unforgettable stories. The cast includes Alfred Enoch, Kevin McNally, Max Irons and Phyllis Logan.

May 4 – The first part of the two-part season finale of Watson will air on CBS at 9 PM followed by the season finale of The Equalizer at 10 PM

May 5 – The season finale of NCIS will air at 9 PM on CBS

May 5 – The first two episodes of the fourth season of Harry Wild will premiere online on Acorn TV

May 5 – The season finale of All American will air at 8 PM on CW

May 7 – The delayed season finale of Wild Cards will air on the CW at 8 PM

May 8 – The new drama Forever will debut online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: Based on the 1975 novel by author Judy Blume, this reimagined series is the epic story of two Black teens (Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper, Jr.) exploring romance and their identities through the awkward journey of being each other’s firsts. The cast includes Barry Shabaka Henley, Karen Pittman, Niles Fitch and Xosha Roquemore.

May 8 – The second season of Poker Face will premiere online on Peacock today

May 8 – The 3rd season premiere of Criminal Minds: Evolution will air online on Paramount+ today

May 8 – The season finale of Elsbeth will air at 9:01 PM on CBS

May 8 – The 60th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air on Amazon Prime starting at 8 PM

May 8 – The movie The Jane Mysteries: Murder at Moseby will make its linear debut on Hallmark Mystery at 8 PM [it originally aired on Hallmark+ on September 19, 2024]

May 9 – The Netflix movie Nonnas will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie follows Joe (Vince Vaughn), who, after losing his mom and grandmother, turns to their generations-old recipes for solace and direction. With the money from his mom’s insurance and a little help from his friends, he opens Enoteca Maria, an old-school Italian spot that staffs four grandmothers, or “nonnas” – Roberta (Lorraine Bracco), Antonella (Brenda Vaccaro), Teresa (Talia Shire) and Gia (Susan Sarandon) – from different cities in Italy, who share their dishes with the neighborhood. The cast includes Linda Cardellini and Joe Manganiello.

May 10 – The Hallmark Channel movie Love in the Clouds will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Reporter Brooklyn travels to the Balloon Fiesta to meet hot air balloon pilot Jared, who offers romantic balloon rides but is closed off to love himself. The movie stars Paul Greene, McKenzie Westmore, Gail O’Grady and Lorenzo Lamas.

May 11 – The season finale of When Hope Calls will air at 8 PM on Great American Family

May 11 – The season finale of Marie Antoinette will air on PBS at 10 PM

May 11 – The season finale of Tracker will air on CBS at 8 PM followed by the second part of the season finale of Watson at 9 PM

May 13 – The season finale of Will Trent and The Rookie will air on ABC at 8 and 9 PM respectively

May 13 – The series finale of Andor will air online on Disney+ today

May 14 – The last two episodes of The Stolen Girl will air on Freeform at the special time of 9:30 PM

May 14 – The third season premiere of Sullivan’s Crossing will air at 8 PM on CW

May 15 – The new period piece series Duster will debut online today on MAX

Show Synopsis: Set in the 1970s Southwest, the series explores the life of Jim (Josh Holloway), a gutsy getaway driver for a growing crime syndicate that goes from dangerous to wildly, stupidly dangerous when Nina (Rachel Hilson), a tenacious young FBI agent comes into town hellbent on taking his crime family down. The cast also includes Camille Guaty, Greg Grunberg and Keith David.

May 15 – The season finales of 9-1-1, Doctor Odyssey and Grey’s Anatomy will air on ABC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 15 – The finales of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Found will air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 16 – The first two episodes of the new Apple TV+ series Murderbot will debut online today

Show Synopsis: This sci-fi thriller/comedy about a self-hacking security construct known as Murderbot (Alexander Skarsgard) who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients. Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe. The series also stars Tattiawna Jones, Sabrina Wu, David Dastmalchian and Tamara Podemski.

May 16 – The season finale of Power Book III: Raising Kanan will air on Starz at 8 PM

May 16 – The two-hour series finale of S.W.A.T. will air on CBS at 9 PM

May 16 – The season finale of Grosse Pointe Garden Society will air on NBC at 8 PM

May 16 – The 7th season premiere of The Chi will air online on Paramount+ today

May 17 – The movie Love on the Danube: Love Song will make its linear debut on Hallmark Channel at 8 PM [it originally aired on Hallmark+ on September 10, 2024]

May 18 – The finale of Suits LA will air on NBC at 9 PM

May 18 – The finale of The Chicken Sisters will air on Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

May 18 – The Chi will air its season premiere on Showtime at 9 PM

May 20 – The new young adult drama Motorheads will debut online on Amazon Prime

Show Synopsis: This series is about first love, first heartbreak and turning the key in your first car. It’s set in a once-thriving rust-belt town that’s now searching for a glimmer of hope; it’s an adrenaline-filled story of a group of outsiders who form an unlikely friendship over a mutual love of street racing while navigating the hierarchy and rules of high school. The cast includes Matt Lanter, Michael Cimino, Nathalie Kelley, Ryan Phillippe, Uriah Shelton, Drake Rodger and Mia Healey [among others].

May 20 – The season finale of FBI will air on CBS at 8 PM followed by the series finale of FBI: International at 9 PM and then the series finale of FBI: Most Wanted at 10 PM

May 21 – The second season premiere of Nine Perfect Strangers will air online on Hulu today

May 21 – The finales of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. will all air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 22 – The finale of Black Snow will air online on AMC+

May 22 – The new dark comedy limited series Sirens will debut online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: Devon (Meghann Fahy) thinks her sister Simone (Milly Alcock) has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell (Julianne Moore). Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be. Told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class. May 22 – The first two episodes of the fourth and final season of the Canadian medical drama Transplant will premiere on NBC at 8 PM

May 23 – The Apple TV+ feature film Fountain of Youth will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Two estranged siblings (Natalie Portman and John Krasinski) join forces to seek the legendary Fountain of Youth. Using historical clues, they embark on an epic quest filled with adventure. If successful, the mythical fountain could grant them immortality. The cast includes Eiza Gonzalez, Stanley Tucci, Domhnall Gleeson, Carmen Ejogo and Laz Alonso.

May 23 – The original rom-com movie Worth the Wait will debut online on Tubi today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The lives of multiple Asian-American strangers fatefully intertwine as they navigate budding love, confront profound loss and encounter old flames. The movie stars Lana Condor (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before), Ross Butler (Riverdale and Love in Taipei), Elodie Yung (The Cleaning Lady), Sung Kang (Fast & Furious franchise) and Andrew Koji (Black Doves).

May 24 – The movie Love on the Danube: Royal Getaway will make its linear debut on Hallmark Channel at 8 PM [it originally aired on Hallmark+ on September 19, 2024]

May 25 – The two-night debut of The Librarians: The Next Chapter will air on TNT at 11 PM (after the NBA Basketball playoffs coverage)

Show Synopsis: The reboot of the popular series centers on Vikram Chamberlain (Callum McGowan), a “Librarian” from the past who time traveled from 1847 and now finds himself stuck in the present. When Vikram returns to his castle in Belgrade, Serbia and discovers that it is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. With the help of a new team of eclectic heroes, including a savant in world history (Bluey Robinson), a scientific genius (Olivia Morris) and a highly skilled Guardian (Jessica Green), Vikram has only six months to clean up the mess he made. Original series star Christian Kane will reprise his role of Jacob Stone.

NOTE: The second part of the two-night debut will air on TNT at 10 PM on May 26.

May 25 – The UPtv movie A Bestselling Kind of Love will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Sophie Wood (Ashley Newbrough) is thrilled when her first novel soars to the top of the bestsellers list but is terrified of speaking in front of crowds to promote it. Her agent hires Daniel (Jason Diaz), a public speaking coach, to help her overcome her fears.

May 25 – The finale of The Last of Us will air on HBO at 9 PM

May 26 – The 2025 American Music Awards will air on CBS at 8 PM

May 27 – The series finale of The Handmaid’s Tale will air online on Hulu today

May 29 – The third season premiere of And Just Like That… will air online on MAX today

Show Synopsis: A brash but brilliant detective (Matthew Goode) leads a cold case unit in this Edinburgh-based drama that also stars Shirley Henderson, Kelly Macdonald, Chloe Pirrie and Mark Bonnar.

May 30 – The finale of the Apple TV+ series Your Friends & Neighbors will air online today

May 31 – The HBO original telefilm Mountainhead will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A group of billionaire friends (Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith, and Ramy Youssef) get together against the backdrop of a rolling international crisis.

May 31 – The season finale of Doctor Who will air online on Disney+ today

May 31 – The movie Love on the Danube: Kissing Stars will make its linear debut on Hallmark Channel at 8 PM [it originally aired on Hallmark+ on September 26, 2024]

May 31 – The Tudum Live global fan event for Netflix will be televised on Netflix at 8 PM (ET) and 5 PM (PT) [instead of on YouTube]
