STUPID

Cay:  We’re supposed to believe that anyone believed that Mouse was Jacob? I mean, I have always been a fan of Mission Impossible, but this seems pretty improbable. Also, at what point did they make the swap? It seems that Katherine was talking to Mouse, not Jacob, right? That’s why he took her hand?

Lisa: You took the words right out of my mouth. I was like really? I’m kind of over the mouse storyline and the skin swaps too.

AWESOME

Cay: So glad that Sophie and Kate FINALLY addressed the elephant in the room. It may not be completely over, but at least they aren’t dancing around it all anymore! Also glad that Kate finally acknowledged Mary’s loyalty and gave her a chance to work together on her new bar. Luke was also awesome as usual.

Lisa: I think Awesome is Luke’s middle name. He is one of my fave nerds on TV right now! I agree, I am so glad Kate and Sophie finally faced the past and put everything on the table. Also, I have to say Kate’s scene in the restaurant where she stood up to the homophobic host was pretty epic. She is such a badass!

Cay: About midway through this episode, I couldn’t help but wonder how Batman managed to never let anyone but Alfred and Luke know his secret but it seems like half of Gotham knows Kate’s. Yes, Sophie’s off the scent for a bit, but how long will that last? I was “meh” on the introduction of Pennyworth’s daughter, but I guess they needed her to suit up to foil Sophie.

Lisa: Pennyworth’s Daughter was “Meh” for me too. I felt like I wanted more of her background but didn’t really care that we didn’t get it. She kicked ass and had good chemistry with Kate, it still was just ok to me.

YOUR THOUGHTS

Cay: Why did Alice steal the gun if it wasn’t to kill Kate/Batwoman? But maybe I shouldn’t expect someone completely psychotic to have a clear plan/strategy/rationale…

Lisa: I am glad that the Batwoman identity is back in the bag and Sophie and Kate’s dad are off of her scent. What is going to happen with Sophie and her husband’s relationship? He seemed uneasy when Sophie said her relationship with Kate was over and she loved him. She didn’t convince him and I definitely didn’t believe her. Is there any hope for Kate and Sophie to rekindle their relationship?

Batwoman airs on Sunday nights at 8pm on the CW.
