The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as on streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air all throughout July:
July 1 – The final three episodes of the new Disney+ drama Ironheart will air online today
July 2 – The new movie Heads of State will debut online on Amazon Prime today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This action-comedy stars Idris Elba as the UK Prime Minister and John Cena as the US President, who have a public rivalry. But they are forced to team up and rely on each other when they become targets of a foreign adversary. They must work together to thwart a global conspiracy. They are also joined by a brilliant MI6 agent, played by Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
July 2 – The sequel movie The Old Guard 2 will debut online on Netflix today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This superhero film finds Andy (Charlize Theron) struggling to live out her life after losing her immortality. That is until she and her group of immortals – KiKi Layne, Marwan Kenzari, Luca Marinelli, Matthias Schoenaerts, Van Veronica Ngo and Chiwetel Ejiofor – come out of hiding to fight the first of the immortals who threatens the world. New cast members include Uma Thurman and Henry Golding.
July 2 – The finale of Nine Perfect Strangers will air online on Hulu today
July 2 – The new movie Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado will debut on Nickelodeon at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Dora (Samantha Lorraine), Diego (Jacob Rodriguez) and their new friends brave the treacherous Amazonian jungle, racing to uncover the legendary Sol Dorado treasure before villainous forces claim its immense power. Voices will be provided by Jacqueline Obradors and Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias. The movie also stars Maria Cecilia Botero and Daniella Pineda.
July 3 – The second and final season of The Sandman will air its first six episodes online on Netflix today

July 5 – The linear debut of the holiday movie Unwrapping Christmas: Tina’s Miracle will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

July 9 – The new spin-off series Ballard (set in the world of the Bosch franchise) will debut online on Amazon Prime today
Show Synopsis: The series follows Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q) as she leads the LAPD’s new and underfunded cold case division, tackling the city’s most challenging long-forgotten crimes with empathy and relentless determination. As she peels back layers of crimes spanning decades, including a serial killer’s string of murders and a murdered John Doe, she soon uncovers a dangerous conspiracy within the LAPD. With the help of her volunteer team and retired detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver), Detective Ballard navigates personal trauma, professional challenges, and life-threatening dangers to expose the truth. The cast includes Noah Bean, Victoria Morales, Ricardo Chavira, Rebecca Field, Michael Mosley and John Carroll Lynch.

Show Synopsis: The 6-part series introduces Amber (Silvia Alonso), one of the most brilliant thieves in the world who, after a failed robbery in Las Vegas, prepares her next heist. This time it will take place in Isla Esperanza, an idyllic place lost in the middle of the Pacific. Her target is the tiara of saint Agatha, a jewel valued at 240 million dollars, that the daughter of Mexican oil tycoon Emilio Villegas (Asier Etxeandia) will wear during her wedding. To prepare the robbery, Amber has been infiltrated in the Villegas family for three years as a school governess. But her meticulous plan goes awry when Rui (Álex González), a cheeky and mysterious thief with whom she had a troubled relationship in Las Vegas during a spectacular heist, shows up on the island.

July 11 – Dexter: Resurrection, a continuation of Dexter: New Blood, will debut online on Paramount+ with Showtime today
Show Synopsis: The series takes place weeks after Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) takes a bullet to the chest from his own son as he awakens from a coma to find Harrison (Jack Alcott) gone without a trace. Realizing the weight of what he put his son through, Dexter sets out for New York City, determined to find him and make things right. But closure won’t come easy. Show Synopsis: The series follows the story of teen genius Luke Ellis (Joe Freeman) who is kidnapped and awakens at The Institute, a facility full of children who all got there the same way he did, and who are all possessed of unusual abilities. In a nearby town, haunted former police officer Tim Jamieson (Ben Barnes) has come looking to start a new life, but the peace and quiet won’t last, as his story and Luke’s are destined to collide. The cast includes Mary-Louse Parker, Julian Richings and Martin Roach [among others].

July 17 – The new limited series Untamed will debut online on Netflix today
Show Synopsis: This series is a character-driven mystery-thriller following Kyle Turner (Eric Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past. The cast includes Wilson Bethel, Sam Neill, Rosemarie DeWitt and Lily Santiago.
July 17 – The first two episodes of the second season of Star Wars: Strange New Worlds will premiere online on Paramount+
July 19 – The linear debut of the holiday movie Unwrapping Christmas: Lily’s Destiny will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

July 19 – The Lifetime movie Faith in the Flames: The Nichole Jolly Story will debut at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie is based on the true story of the devastating 2018 fire that ripped through Paradise, California, focusing on hero nurse Nichole Jolly, portrayed by This Is Us alum Chrissy Metz.
July 20 – The finale of the new drama Patience will air on PBS at 8 PM
July 21 – The new series The Hunting Wives will debut online on Netflix today
Show Synopsis: This 8-episode series was originally slated to debut on Starz, but was picked up by the streamer instead, focusing on Sophie O’Neil (Brittany Snow) and her family’s move from the East Coast to deep East Texas, where she succumbs to socialite Margo Bank’s (Malin Akerman) irresistible charms – and finds her life consumed by obsession, seduction and murder. The ensemble cast includes Katie Lowes, Chrissy Metz, Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman.
July 22 – The 6 episode British series Red Eye will debut online on Hulu today
Show Synopsis: Jing Lusi (Crazy Rich Asians) stars as London police officer DS Hana Li, who is escorting Dr. Matthew Nolan (Richard Armitage, The Hobbit franchise) back to Beijing where he has been accused of murder. However, on Flight 357, she finds herself embroiled in an escalating conspiracy and a growing number of murders. The cast includes Lesley Sharp and Jemma Moore.
July 23 – The new limited series Washington Black will debut online on Hulu today
Show Synopsis: Based on the bestselling novel of the same name, the series follows the 19th-century odyssey of George Washington “Wash” Black (Eddie Karanja as young Wash and Ernest Kingsley, Jr. as grown up Wash), an eleven-year-old boy born on a Barbados sugar plantation, whose prodigious scientific mind sets him on a path of unexpected destiny. When a harrowing incident forces Wash to flee, he is thrust into a globe-spanning adventure that challenges and reshapes his understanding of family, freedom and love. July 23 – The season premiere of Family Law will air at 8 PM on CW
July 24 – The second and final season of The Sandman will air its final six episodes online on Netflix today
July 24 – The new drama Code of Silence will debut online on Britbox today
Show Synopsis: The series focuses on Alison Brooks (Rose Ayling- Ellis), a Deaf canteen worker who is struggling to make ends meet, juggling two jobs, while also doing her best to support her Deaf mom, Julie. It’s not long before Alison is pulled into a high-stakes police investigation (since one of her jobs is in a police canteen) when DS Ashleigh Francis (Charlotte Ritchie) asks that she use her lip-reading skills to monitor a dangerous criminal gang. As her interpretation of their covert conversations becomes central to the investigation, Alison is plunged into an exhilarating new world. Her role quickly becomes key to unlocking the police case, but her feelings become complicated when she finds herself drawn to one of the suspects, Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore). Despite knowing the risks and growing threat to her personal life, Alison can’t let go.
