The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as on streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air all throughout January:

January 1 – The new Netflix series Harlan Coben’s Missing You will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the Harlan Coben novel, the series focuses on Detective Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar), who gets caught up in a dark conspiracy after unexpectedly encountering an old flame online. The cast includes James Nesbitt, Richard Armitage, Ashley Walters and Sir Lenny Henry.

January 1 – The box office movie Murder Company will make its small screen debut online on Paramount+

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: In the midst of the D-Day invasion, a group of US soldiers are given orders to smuggle a member of the French resistance behind enemy lines to assassinate a high-value Nazi target. The film stars Kelsey Grammer, William Moseley, Joe Anderson, Pooch Hall and Gilles Marini.

January 1 – The box office movie Slingshot will also make its small screen debut online on Paramount+

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An astronaut struggles to maintain his grip on reality aboard a possibly fatally compromised mission to Saturn’s moon, Titan. The movie stars Casey Affleck, Laurence Fishburne, Emily Beecham, Tomer Capone and David Morrissey.

January 2 – The second season of Only Murders in the Building will make its linear debut on ABC at 9 PM

January 2 – The limited series Lockerbie: A Search for Truth will debut online on Peacock today

Show Synopsis: Dr. Jim Swire (Colin Firth) searches for justice following the death of his daughter in one of the world’s worst air disasters: the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103. The cast includes Catherine McCormack, Sam Troughton and Mark Bonnar [among others].

January 3 – The third season of The Way Home will premiere on Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

NOTE: Each episode will then be available online on Hallmark+ the next day.

January 4 – The Hallmark Channel movie Love of the Irish will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Tired of her bad luck, Fiona (Shenae Grimes-Beech) takes her mom (Moira Kelly) on a trip to Ireland to turn things around where she meets a charming single dad who helps her make her own luck. Stephen Hagan co-stars.

January 5 – The second season of the AMC thriller series Mayfair Witches will premiere at 9 PM

NOTE:  The premiere episode of the second season will also air on BBC America at 9 PM.

January 5 – The fourth season of Vienna Blood will premiere on PBS at 10 PM

January 5 – The 82nd Annual Golden Globes Awards will air at 8 PM on CBS

January 5 – The 12th season of When Calls the Heart will premiere on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

January 6 – The final two episodes of the debut season of the new NBC medical drama Brilliant Minds will air at 9 and 10 PM

January 7 – The new FOX medical drama Doc will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Based on the globally acclaimed Italian series Nelle Tue Mani, this version stars Molly Parker as the hard-charging, brilliant Dr. Amy Elias, Chief of Internal and Family Medicine at Westside Hospital in Minneapolis. After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves and the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. She can rely only on her estranged 17-year-old daughter, whom she remembers as a 9-year-old, and a handful of devoted friends, as she struggles to continue practicing medicine, despite having lost nearly a decade of knowledge and experience. The series also stars Scott Wolf, Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, Patrick Walker and Anya Banerjee.

January 7 – The winter premiere of the NBC drama The Irrational will air at 10 PM

January 7 – The season premiere of Will Trent will air at 8 PM on ABC followed by the winter premiere of High Potential at 9 PM followed by the season premiere of The Rookie at 10 PM

January 8 – The winter premieres of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. will air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

January 9 – The linear TV debut of the movie The Jane Mysteries: A Deadly Prescription will air on Hallmark Mystery at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Jane Da Silva (Jodie Sweetin) and Detective John Cameron (Stephen Huszar) fight for justice as they race against time to prove the innocence of a wrongly imprisoned teenager.

NOTE: This movie originally debuted on Hallmark+ back on September 10, 2024.

January 9 – The limited series American Primeval will debut online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: A mother (Betty Gilpin) and son IPreston Mota) fleeing from their past form a found family while confronting a harsh landscape of freedom and cruelty in the American West. The cast includes Taylor Kitsch, Shea Whigham, Jai Courtney and Dane DeHaan.

January 9 – The new medical drama The Pitt will debut online on MAX today

Show Synopsis: The daily lives of healthcare professionals in a Pittsburgh hospital as they juggle personal crises, workplace politics, and the emotional toll of treating critically ill patients, revealing the resilience required in their noble calling. The series stars Noah Wyle, Katherine LaNasa, Tracy Ifeachor, Fiona Dourif, Isa Briones and Gerran Howell.

January 9 – The new police drama On Call will debut online on Amazon Prime today

Show Synopsis: The series follows a pair of police officers (Brandon Larracuente and Troian Bellisario) on patrol as they respond to a new radio call, arriving on the scene to resolve incidents. The cast includes Eriq La Salle, Lori Loughlin and Rich Ting.

January 10 – The second season of the anthology series Goosebumps: The Vanishing will premiere on both Disney+ and Hulu online today

January 11 – The Hallmark Channel movie Polar Opposites will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Emma (Rhiannon Fish) needs to get to Antarctica to reach her father and travels to South America but can’t get on a boat for the last leg. She sneaks onto a cruise ship and meets engineer Andy (Markian Tarasiuk).

January 12 – The season finale of the Taylor Sheridan-created series Landman will air online on Paramount+ today

January 12 – The 5th season of Miss Scarlet (now under its new name) and the 5th season of All Creatures Great and Small will both premiere on PBS at 8 and 9 PM respectively

January 12 – The second season of the MGM+ period piece drama Rogue Heroes will premiere at 9 PM

January 14 – The season finale of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will air online on Disney+ today

January 16 – The winter premieres of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Found will all air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

January 16 – The second season of the Netflix series XO, Kitty will premiere online today

January 17 – The second season of the Apple TV+ series Severance will premiere online today

January 17 – The season finale of Silo will air online on Apple TV+ today

January 17 – The new Starz drama The Couple Next Door will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The series explores the claustrophobia of suburbia and the fallout of chasing your deepest desires. When Evie (Eleanor Tomlinson) and Pete (Alfred Enoch) move into the upscale neighborhood with the dream of starting a family, they soon find friendship in the shape of the couple next door, alpha traffic cop Danny (Sam Heughan) and his wife, glamorous yoga instructor Becka (Jessica De Gouw). As time goes on, these two couples get increasingly close to each other and one fateful night, become sexually entangled in a way that will change their lives forever.

January 17 – The new Netflix movie Back in Action will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Former CIA spies Emily (Cameron Diaz) and Matt (Jamie Foxx) are pulled back into espionage after their secret identities are exposed. The ensemble cast includes Glenn Close, Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott, Tom Brittney and Fola Evans-Akingbola.

January 17 – The season finale of the 7th season of Outlander will air on Starz at 8 PM

January 18 – The Hallmark Channel movie My Argentine Heart will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Abril (Julie Gonzalo) goes to Argentina to save her family ranch from being bought by her ex. But when outside forces threaten the ranch the pair must come together, rekindling their love in the process. Juan Pablo Di Pace co-stars.

January 19 – Season 3 of Mystic will premiere on UPtv at 9 PM

January 20 – The winter premieres of 9-1-1: Lone Star and Rescue: Hi-Surf will air on FOX at 8 and 9 PM respectively

January 20 – The new Acorn TV drama The Gone will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Theo Richter (Richard Flood) is an Irish detective who teams with Kiwi cop Diana Huia (Acushla-Tara Kup) to find a young Irish couple after they vanished from an infamous rural North Island New Zealand town. Amid the search and race against time, the pair must contend with a community’s growing concern that the disappearances may be linked to a series of historical murders.

January 22 – The new Apple TV+ drama Prime Target will debut online today

Show Synopsis: A post-graduate mathematics student (Leo Woodall) discovers an effort being made to destroy his work in finding a pattern in prime numbers that would allow him to access every computer in the world. The cast includes Stephen Rea, Martha Plimpton, David Morrissey, Jason Flemyng, Quintessa Swindell, Harry Lloyd and Fra Fee.

January 23 – The sixth season premiere of C.B. Strike will air on HBO at 9 PM

January 23 – The second season of The Night Agent will premiere online today on Netflix

January 24 – The Paramount+ movie Star Trek: Section 31 will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Michelle Yeoh reprises her fan-favorite role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou (a character she played in Star Trek: Discovery), who joins a secret division of Starfleet. Tasked with protecting the United Federation of Planets, she also must face the sins of her past. The show also stars James Hiroyuki Liao, Humberly Gonzalez, Omari Hardwick, Kacey Rohl and Sam Richardson.

January 24 – The season finale of the new spy drama The Agency will air online on Paramount+ today

January 25 – The Hallmark Channel movie The Perfect Setting will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An aspiring jewelry designer (Laci J. Mailey) returns to Belgium to visit her grandfather and hopefully win the Valentine’s Day Diamond Contest. David Elsendoorn co-stars.

January 25 – The Lifetime movie Family Affair will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Inspired by Grammy and Emmy winner Mary J. Blige’s best-selling hit single Family Affair, the third film in the cable network’s movie franchise continues the story of Kendra and Ben (Ajiona Alexus and Da’Vinchi) as they move out of the city to start a life together, but tensions rise when they struggle with fertility issues and Kendra tries to navigate her relationship with Ben’s son.

January 26 – The new CBS drama Watson will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: The series takes place six months after the death of the titular character’s friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty. The show stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. John Watson, who resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. Watson’s old life isn’t done with him, though – Moriarty and Watson are set to write their own chapter of a story that has fascinated audiences for more than a century. Watson is a medical show with a strong investigative spine, featuring a modern version of one of history’s greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries. The cast includes Rochelle Aytes, Eve Harlow and Inga Schlingmann.

January 26 – The season finale of the PBS drama Vienna Blood will air at 10 PM

January 26 – The season finale of the new spy drama The Agency will air on Showtime at 9 PM

January 27 – The winter premieres of NCIS and NCIS: Origins will air on CBS at 9 and 10 PM respectively

January 27 – The new Acorn TV drama The Catch will debut online today

Show Synopsis: This gripping, psychological thriller from the bestselling book focuses on Ed Collier (Jason Watkins), a proud husband, father and local fisherman determined to do whatever it takes to keep his family together. When rich, handsome younger man, Ryan (Aneurin Barnard) enters his daughter, Abbie’s (Poppy Gilbert) life and threatens to take her away from him, Ed finds his life spiraling out of control and determines to discover the truth about Ryan before it’s too late. January 28 – The first three episodes of the new Hulu drama Paradise will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Set in a serene community inhabited by some of the world’s most prominent individuals; but this tranquility explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high-stakes investigation unfolds. The series stars Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi and Percy Daggs IV.

January 28 – The winter premieres of FBI, FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted will air on CBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

January 29 – There will be a sneak peek at the CW drama All American at 8 PM

January 29 – The crossover event of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. will air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM

January 30 – The winter premieres of Matlock and Elsbeth will air on CBS at 9 and 10 PM respectively

January 30 – The first three episodes of the second season of School Spirits will premiere online on Paramount+ today

January 30 – The second season premiere of The Recruit will air online on Netflix today

January 31 – The winter premieres of Fire Country and S.W.A.T. (now at a new time) will air on CBS at 9 and 10 PM respectively
