The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air all throughout August:

August 1 – The finale of Criminal Minds: Evolution will air online today on Paramount+

August 1 – The new Netflix drama A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Five years after the murder of a 17-year-old girl in a sleepy English town, one student (Emma Myers from Wednesday) is determined to uncover the truth and find the real killer.

August 2 – The Hallmark Mystery movie Jazz Ramsey: A K-9 Mystery will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Jazz Ramsey (Rachel Skarsten) and her crime detection dog Zeus stumble upon an old crime scene, the K9 trainer, her star pup, and ex-boyfriend and lead detective Nick (Corey Sevier) are thrown into the investigation.

August 3 – The Hallmark Channel movie Junebug will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Juniper (Autumn Reeser), a book editor turning 40, is magically reconnected with an eight-year-old version of herself who questions her life choices, including the dream of writing her own stories. Aaron O’Connell co-stars.

August 4 – The finale of Mayor of Kingstown will air online on Paramount+ today

August 4 – PBS will air the finale of Grantchester at 9 PM

August 4 – The finale of Hotel Cocaine will air on MGM+ at 9 PM

August 4 – The season finale of House of the Dragon will air on HBO at 9 PM

August 8 – The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy will premiere online on Netflix today

August 8 – The third season of The Mallorca Files will premiere online on Amazon Prime today

August 8 – The action-adventure flick One Fast Move will debut online on Amazon Prime today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie focuses on a young man (a nearly unrecognizable KJ Apa from Riverdale) down on his luck who seeks out his estranged father (Eric Dane) to help him pursue his dream of becoming a professional motorcycle racer. With the help of his small town love interest and a motorcycle shop owner who moonlights as his mentor, he begins to break down the walls that his father’s absence had built up. Battlestar Galactica alum Edward James Olmos also stars.

August 9 – The Apple TV+ movie The Instigators will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie follows two robbers (Matt Damon and Casey Affleck) who must go on the run with the help of one of their therapists after a theft doesn’t go as planned. The ensemble cast includes Hong Chau, Paul Walter Hauser, Michael Stuhlbarg, Ron Perlman, Ving Rhames and Alfred Molina.

August 10 – The Hallmark Channel movie My Dreams of You will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Grace (Skyler Samuels) has recurring dreams about a handsome stranger named Michael (Kapil Talwalkar) due to a mix-up in Dream Central. When they finally meet in person, Grace is shocked to learn he has no idea who she is.

August 11 – The third season of Industry will premiere on HBO at 9 PM

August 11 – The 7th season premiere of Seal Team will air online on Paramount+ today

August 11 – The MGM+ series Emperor of Ocean Park will move to its new timeslot of 9 PM

August 15 – The third season of Bel-Air will premiere online on Peacock today

August 15 – The Amazon Prime movie Jackpot! will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This comedy film follows a young woman (Awkwafina) who wins the lottery but at a heavy cost: anyone who kills the winner within the first twenty-four hours is entitled to the prize. John Cena will play Noel, who tries to save her before it’s too late, and Simu Liu will play Louis Lewis, who runs a lottery protection agency.

August 15 – The fourth season of Emily in Paris will premiere part 1 online on Netflix today

August 16 – The Netflix movie The Union will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Mike McKenna (Mark Wahlberg), a down-to-earth construction worker, is thrust into the world of super spies and secret agents when his high school sweetheart, Roxanne Hall (Halle Berry), recruits him on a high-stakes US intelligence mission. The ensemble cast includes J.K. Simmons, Mike Colter, Alice Lee, Jessica De Gouw, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Jackie Earle Haley.

August 17 – The Hallmark Channel movie A Costa Rican Wedding will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A klutzy Maid of Honor (Rhiannon Fish) gets help from her handsome nemesis (Christopher Russell) when things go awry at her best friend’s Costa Rican wedding.

August 21 – The season finale of Time Bandits will air online on Apple TV+ today

August 22 – The Passionflix movie The Air He Breathes will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on the bestselling book by Brittainy Cherry, the movie follows Elizabeth (Kelcie Stranahan) and Tristan (General Hospital star Ryan Carnes), who find solace and healing in each other’s company after suffering devastating losses. As they navigate their grief and past traumas, they discover the power of love and second chances.

August 22 – The second season premiere of Reasonable Doubts will air online on Hulu today

August 22 – The series finale of Evil will air online on Paramount+ today

August 23 – The season finale of Lady in the Lake will air online on Apple TV+ today

August 23 – The Hulu feature film The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie follows a trio of best friends (Sanaa Lathan, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor and Uzo Aduba) known as “The Supremes” who, for decades, have weathered life’s storms together through marriage and children, happiness and blues. The movie also stars Julian McMahon, Mekhi Phifer, Tati Gabrielle, Vondie Curtis-Hall and Russell Hornsby.

August 23 – The Peacock feature film The Killer will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An assassin (Nathalie Emmanuel) tries to make amends in an effort to restore the sight of a beautiful young singer. The movie also stars Sam Worthington, Omar Sy and Said Taghmaoui.

August 23 – The new movie Nelly Knows Mysteries: A Fatal Engagement will debut on Hallmark Mysteries at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When advice columnist Nelly (Pascale Hutton) finds her childhood friend Dahlia’s boyfriend dead, she joins detective Hogan (Kavan Smith) to help find the killer. However, as suspicions creep in, Dahlia becomes a prime suspect.

August 24 – The Hallmark Channel movie The Magic of Lemon Drops will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When Lolly’s (Lyndsy Fonseca) Aunt Gert gives her three magical lemon drops, she gets to experience what her life would have been like if she had made different choices and lived those unfulfilled dreams. Ian Harding co-stars.

August 25 – The finale of Orphan Black: Echoes will air online on AMC+ as well as on AMC and BBC America at 10 PM

August 27 – The fourth season premiere of Only Murders in the Building will air online on Hulu today

August 28 – The 4-part ABC News Studios docuseries After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun will debut online on Hulu

Docuseries Synopsis: The docuseries promises a nostalgic and insightful exploration of Baywatch, the cultural phenomenon that defined an era, and an unprecedented look into the stars who brought the world’s most famous lifeguards to life. August 29 – The new genre-bending Netflix drama Kaos will debut online today

Show Synopsis: This series will put a modern twist on Greek and Roman mythology, exploring themes of gender politics, power and life in the underworld. The cast includes Aurora Perrineau, Cliff Curtis, David Thewlis, Janet McTeer, Jeff Goldblum and Stephen Dillane.

August 29 – The second season premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will air online on Amazon Prime today

August 29 – The season finale of Cobra will air at 9 PM on PBS

August 30 – The season finale of The Serpent Queen will air on Starz at 8 PM

August 31 – The Hallmark Channel movie Head Over Heels will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Addison’s (Rebecca Dalton) dream comes true when luxury shoe designer Delaney Diaz hires her, thanks to PR guru Austin, but will she be able to achieve a work/life balance while also considering a new romance? Olivier Renaud co-stars.
