The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air all throughout April:

April 1 – The 6th season premiere of All American will air on CW at 8 PM

April 3 – The season finale of Resident Alien will air on Syfy at 10 PM

April 3 – The finale of The New Look will air online on Apple TV+ today

April 3 – The season 4 premiere of Walker will air on CW at 8 PM followed by the debut of the new series Sight Unseen at 9 PM

Show Synopsis (Sight Unseen): The series follows Tess Avery (Dolly Lewis), a top homicide detective who is forced to quit the job she loves after an incident in the field nearly results in her partner, Jake Campbell (Daniel Gillies), being killed, leading to her ultimately being diagnosed as clinically blind. Haunted by the cases she left behind and reluctant to accept help, or even her own diagnosis, Tess turns to an assistance app to connect with a professional seeing-eye guide 3,000 miles away. An unorthodox partner in Tess’ ear, Sunny Patel (Agam Darshi), guides her via a micro-camera, allowing Tess to continue doing what she does best: solving cases. An agoraphobic who leaves her apartment only through the eyes of her clients, Sunny is also hiding a secret of her own – a violent event from her past she hopes to one day solve. Steering Tess through life’s obstacles and crimes – the duo challenge preconceptions about ability, trust, and where to draw the line. Inspired by one of the series co-creators’ recurring experiences with sight loss, Tess and Sunny bring a fresh perspective and unexpected thrills to the crime solving genre.

April 3 – The box office animated movie Wish will make its small screen debut online on Disney+ today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Asha (voiced by Ariana DeBose), a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force: a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe – the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico (Chris Pine) – to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. Alan Tudyk voices Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino.

April 3 – The second part of American Horror Story: Delicate will air on FX at 10 PM

April 4 – The finale of Tokyo Vice will air online on Max today

April 4 – The new small screen adaptation of Ripley will air online on Netflix today

Show Synopsis: Andrew Scott stars as Tom Ripley, a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, is hired by a wealthy man to travel to Italy to try to convince his vagabond son to return home. Tom’s acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder. Dakota Fanning and Johnny Flynn co-star.

April 4 – Elsbeth will air on CBS at the special time of 9 PM

April 4 – The Amazon Prime rom-com movie Musica will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This movie is a coming-of-age love story following an aspiring creator (Rudy Mancuso, who also directed and co-wrote) with synesthesia (a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway), who must come to terms with an uncertain future, while navigating the pressures of love, family, and his Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey. Camila Mendes and J.B. Smoove co-star.

April 4 – The 5th and final season of Star Trek: Discovery will premiere online on Paramount+

April 5 – The documentary Girls State will debut online on Apple TV+ today

Documentary Synopsis: This documentary follows teenage girls from Missouri navigating a week-long immersive democratic experiment, learning how to build a government from the ground up.

April 5 – The third and final season of Alex Rider will air on Freevee today

April 5 – The Amazon Prime movie How to Date Billy Walsh will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie follows a pair of childhood friends: Amelia (Charithra Chandran) and Archie (Sebastian Croft). Archie has always kept his love for her a secret, but just as he builds up the courage to declare his feelings, Amelia falls for Billy Walsh (Tanner Buchanan), the new transfer student. The film also stars Kunal Nayyar, Lucy Punch, Nick Frost and Tim Downie.

April 5 – The period piece drama Mary & George will debut on Starz at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The seven-part limited series is inspired by the scandalous true story of a treacherous mother and son (Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine) who schemed, seduced and killed to conquer the Court of England and the bed of King James I (Tony Curran).

April 5 – The new Apple TV+ drama Sugar will debut its first three episodes online today

Show Synopsis: Colin Farrell stars as John Sugar, an American private investigator on the heels of the mysterious disappearance of Olivia Siegel, the beloved granddaughter of legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel. As Sugar tries to determine what happened to Olivia, he will also unearth Siegel family secrets; some very recent, others long-buried. The cast includes Amy Ryan, Anna Gunn, James Cromwell, Nate Corddry, Dennis Boutsikaris and Kirby Howell-Baptiste.

April 5 – The Netflix feature film Scoop will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The behind-the-scenes story of the women who negotiated with the Buckingham Palace establishment to secure the “scoop of the decade” that was the public catalyst for the downfall of Prince Andrew (Rufus Sewell), in a televised interview which focused on Andrew’s relationship with the convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of Andrew’s sexual assault of a minor which Andrew denies and in early 2022 settled out of court for a 12 million pounds settlement. The film stars Gillian Anderson, Billie Piper, Keeley Hawes, Romola Garai, Charity Wakefield and Connor Swindells.

April 5 – The animated series Monsters at Work will air its second season on Disney at 8 PM

April 5 – The Hallmark Mystery movie One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Hannah Swensen (Alison Sweeney, who also wrote and executive produced) has been asked to teach a baking class at the college in town, but her equipment is tampered with causing an explosion that the fire department rules an accident. Soon, a colleague ends up dead and Hannah begins to put together the puzzle of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder while being on the list of suspects herself. Hannah leans on her friends and family to collect the breadcrumbs of foul play and put them together, and meets a different side of law and order when she crosses paths with Lake Eden’s by-the book prosecuting attorney Chad Norton (Victor Webster). Barbara Niven, Gabriel Hogan, Tess Atkins and Lisa Durupt reprise their roles in the franchise.

April 5 – The CBS dramas S.W.A.T., Fire Country and Blue Bloods will all be back with new episodes at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

April 6 – The Hallmark Channel movie Blind Date Book Club will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A bookstore owner finds love and direction in life after agreeing to review a famous author’s new novel in her blind-date-with-a-book club. The film stars Erin Krakow and Robert Buckley.

April 7 – The second season of Beacon 23 will debut on MGM+ at 9 PM

April 7 – When Calls the Heart will premiere its 11th season on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

April 7 – The 2024 CMT Music Awards will air at 8 PM on CBS

April 7 – The finale of The Regime will air on HBO at 9 PM

April 7 – The PBS series Mr. Bates vs The Post Office will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: When money started to seemingly disappear from local branches, the government-owned Post Office wrongly blamed their own managers for its apparent loss. For more than a decade, hundreds were accused of theft and fraud, and many were even sent to prison – leaving lives, marriages and reputations in ruins. But the issue was actually caused by errors in the Post Office’s own computer system – something it denied for years. Revealing a shocking David vs. Goliath fight for justice, this is the true story of the decent ordinary people who were relentlessly pursued, coerced and controlled by a powerful corporation, and their ongoing battle, against seemingly insurmountable odds, to right so many horrific wrongs. Toby Jones stars as the title character Alan Bates. The cast includes Lesley Nicol and Ian Hart (among others).

April 7 – Parish will make its timeslot premiere on AMC at 9 PM

April 7 – The Investigation Discovery docu-series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV will actually air a 5th episode (the docu-series was original 4-parts), airing at 8 PM

DOCU-SERIES SYNOPSIS: This episode will delve deeper into the toxic and dangerous culture behind some of the most iconic children’s television shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s, including allegations of abuse, sexism and racism, and build off the revelations explored in the first four episodes.

April 11 – The futuristic, post-apocalyptic series Fallout will debut online on Amazon Prime today

Show Synopsis: This series, based on the immensely popular retro-futuristic video game franchise, sees vault dweller Lucy (Ella Purnell) struggle to adapt to the twisted and dangerous world of the irradiated wasteland and offers the first glimpse of Moldaver (Sarita Choudhury) and Ma June (Dale Dickey). The cast includes Michael Emerson, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Leslie Uggams and Chris Parnell.

April 11 – The Passionflix movie Wallbanger will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Caroline (Kelli Berglund), a single interior designer, moves into what seems like the perfect apartment only to be awakened nightly by her neighbor, the ‘wallbanger’ (Simon, played by Amadeus Serafini) sparking an unexpected, tension-filled connection. The cast includes Roselyn Sanchez, Ryan McPartlin and Colin Ford.

April 11 – The INSP series Elkhorn will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Reeling from an unimaginable loss, 25-year-old Theodore Roosevelt (Mason Beals) abandons New York politics and journeys to the lawless Dakota Badlands, where he establishes the sprawling Elkhorn Ranch and attempts to remake himself into a cattleman.

April 12 – The new period piece drama Franklin will debut its first three episodes online on Apple TV+ today

Show Synopsis: This series explores the thrilling story of the greatest gamble of Benjamin Franklin’s (Michael Douglas) career. In December 1776, Franklin is world famous for his electrical experiments, but his passion and power are put to the test when – as the fate of American independence hangs in the balance – he embarks on a secret mission to France. At age 70, without any diplomatic training, Franklin convinced an absolute monarchy to underwrite America’s experiment in democracy. By virtue of his fame, charisma and ingenuity, Franklin outmaneuvered British spies, French informers and hostile colleagues to engineer the Franco-American alliance of 1778 and the peace treaty with England in 1783. The eight-year French mission stands as Franklin’s most vital service to his country, without which America could not have won the Revolution. Diplomats and historians still regard it as the greatest single tour of duty by an ambassador in our nation’s history. The cast includes Noah Jupe, Eddie Marsan and Daniel Mays (among others).

April 12 – The Hulu feature film The Greatest Hits will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Harriet (Lucy Boynton) finds art imitating life when she discovers certain songs can transport her back in time – literally. While she relives the past through romantic memories of her former boyfriend (David Corenswet), her time travelling collides with a burgeoning new love interest in the present (Justin H. Min). As she takes her journey through the hypnotic connection between music and memory, she wonders – even if she could change the past, should she?

April 13 – The Hallmark Channel movie Legend of the Lost Locket will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When an antiques expert takes on a quest to find a long-lost locket that promises to bring the wearer true love, she finds herself in conflict with, but also attracted to, the town sheriff. The film stars Natasha Burnett and Viv Leacock.

April 14 – The new CBS drama Tracker will air at the special time of 8 PM tonight followed by the two-hour special presentation The 100th: Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden – The Great Arena Run of All Time at 9 PM

Special Presentation (Billy Joel): This concert marks Billy Joel’s 100th consecutive performance at Madison Square Garden, a feat that underscores his unparalleled success at the iconic venue, and his first concert broadcasted on network TV.

April 14 – The new HBO series The Sympathizer will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Based on the Viet Thanh Nguyen Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, this espionage thriller and cross-culture satire about the struggles of a half-French, half-Vietnamese communist spy during the final days of the Vietnam War and his new life as a refugee in Los Angeles, where he learns that his spying days aren’t over. The cast includes Robert Downey, Jr., Hoa Xuande and Sandra Oh.

April 15 – The 1000th episode of the NCIS franchise will air as episode 7 of NCIS on CBS at 9 PM

April 17 – The Hulu limited series Under the Bridge will debut its first two episodes online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the book by Rebecca Godfrey, the series tells the true story from 1997 about 14-year old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. It takes us into the hidden world of the teenagers accused of the savage murder, revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer. The series stars Lily Gladstone, Riley Keough and Archie Panjabi (among others).

April 19 – The finale of Manhunt will air online on Apple TV+ today

April 19 – The Roku Channel series The Spiderwick Chronicles will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Helen (Joy Bryant) and her children, 15-year-old fraternal twins Jared and Simon (Lyon Daniels and Noah Cottrell) and their sister Mallory (Mychala Lee) move to their ancestral home, Spiderwick. Jared discovers a boggart and realizes that magical creatures are real. The only one to believe him is his great-aunt Lucinda who implores Jared to find the pages of her father’s field guide to magical creatures and protect them from the murderous Ogre, Mulgarath (Christian Slater). Jack Dylan Grazer also stars.

April 19 – The Netflix feature film Rebel Moon: Part Two: The Scargiver will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Kora (Sofia Boutella) and surviving warriors prepare to defend Veldt, their new home, alongside its people against the Realm. The warriors face their pasts, revealing their motivations before the Realm’s forces arrive to crush the growing rebellion. The ensemble cast includes Charlie Hunnam, Anthony Hopkins, Jena Malone, Ed Skrein, Cary Elwes, Michiel Huisman, Corey Stoll, Stuart Martin, Djimon Hounsou and Ray Fisher.

April 20 – The Hallmark Channel movie Falling in Love in Niagara will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After her fiancé leaves her before their wedding, Madeline (Jocelyn Hudon) goes to Niagara Falls to honeymoon without him. There, she reconnects with her adventurous side, learns to let go, and finds new love. Dan Jeannotte co-stars.

April 21 – The PBS limited series Alice and Jack will air its series finale at 10 PM

April 23 – The finale of Shogan will air on FX on Hulu online today as well as on FX at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A year after her father’s death, Lydia Gilbert (Isabel May) feels completely lost – until she discovers something unexpected: a space opera script in need of a blockbuster budget, written by her father (Nat Faxon). The film also stars Missi Pyle and P.J. Byrne.

April 23 – The box office rom-com Anyone But You will make its streaming debut on Netflix today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple. The film also stars Dermot Mulroney, Rachel Griffiths, Darren Barnet, Alexandra Shipp, Michelle Hurd and Bryan Brown.

April 24 – The finale of American Horror Story: Delicate will air at 10 PM on FX

April 25 – The exclusive premiere of season 17 of Heartland will happen online on UP Faith & Family today

April 25 – The Netflix YA genre series Dead Boy Detectives will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the comics by Neil Gaiman, the 8-episode series follows Edwin Payne (George Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri), “the brains” and “the brawn” behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency. Teenagers born decades apart who find each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts who solve mysteries. They will do anything to stick together – including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal (Kassius Nelson) and her friend Niko (Yuyu Kitamura), they crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases.

April 25 – The finale of The Long Shadow will air online on Sundance Now and AMC+ today

April 26 – The Hallmark Mystery movie Curious Caterer Mysteries: Foiled Plans will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Goldy Berry’s (Nikki DeLoach) Medieval feast at Hyde Castle gets interrupted by a murder. She teams up with Detective Shultz (Andrew Walker) to solve the mystery before the murderer strikes again.

April 26 – The limited series Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story will debut online on Hulu today

Special Synopsis: This is a 4-part, all access docuseries chronicling the epic past and uncertain future of one of the most recognizable bands in the world and its front-man Jon Bon Jovi. A 40-year odyssey of rock and roll idolatry on the precipice as a vocal injury threatens to bring everything to a screeching halt.

April 27 – The Hallmark Channel movie Branching Out will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: To help build a family tree, single mom Amelia (Sarah Drew) tracks down her daughter’s biological father. It becomes a journey of trust, love, and discovering the meaning of family. Juan Pablo Di Pace co-stars.

April 28 – The finale of Mr. Bates vs The Post Office will air on PBS at 9 PM followed by the third season premiere of Guilt at 10 PM

April 30 – The first two episodes of the new FX on Hulu series The Veil will debut online

Show Synopsis: The series explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London. One woman has a secret, the other a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, mission controllers at the CIA and French DGSE must put differences aside and work together to avert potential disaster. Elizabeth Moss and Josh Charles star.
