My Top Choices for February TV
February may be the shortest month in the year, but it isn’t coming up short on programming options, even for the more discerning TV viewer.
First, here are the fall dramas that are premiering their new, albeit truncated, TV seasons and a couple shows that are coming to an end.
NEW SEASONS:
NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i on CBS on February 12 at 9 and 10 PM respectively
Resident Alien on Syfy on February 14 at 10 PM
So Help Me Todd on CBS at 9 PM on February 15
Fire Country on CBS on February 16 at 9 PM
The Equalizer on CBS at 8 PM on February 18
Will Trent and The Rookie on ABC at 8 and 9 PM respectively on February 20
FINALES:
Miss Scarlet and the Duke on PBS on February 11 at 8 PM
The Irrational on NBC at 10 PM on February 19
MADE-FOR-TV MOVIES
The following movies will debut throughout the month either online or on the Hallmark Channel:
Calamity Jane will debut digitally on February 2, starring former Arrow co-stars Emily Bett Rickards and Stephen Amell as well as Wynonna Earp alum Tim Rozon in the period piece about the infamous sharpshooter
Paging Mr. Darcy on the Hallmark Channel on February 3 at 8 PM, starring Mallory Jansen and Will Kemp
Love & Jane on the Hallmark Channel on February 10 at 8 PM, starring Allison Sweeney and Benjamin Ayres
Players on Netflix on February, starring Gina Rodriguez and Tom Ellis
Code 8, Part II on Netflix on February 28, starring cousins Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell in the sequel to the 2019 sci-fi film
Lastly, there is one new drama that caught my attention:
Tracker on CBS on February 11, airing after the Super Bowl. This Is Us alum Justin Hartley stars as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a reward seeker, using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries while contending with his own fractured family.
