Hey Outlander Fans!
As we edge closer to Droughtlander being over, and the season 7 premiere of Outlander just a few months away, the folks over at Starz have been releasing new promo pictures of our favorite couple – Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) along with their daughter Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and her husband Roger (Richard Rankin).
In addition, the promo pictures that have been released include two of the new characters to be introduced in the long-running drama’s upcoming season 7, which is set to debut on Starz on Friday, June 16. Those new characters are siblings Rachel, to be played by Izzy-Meikle Small (Never Let Me Go), and Dr. Denzell Hunter, to be played Joey Phillips (Billy Elliot).
Fans of the Outlander novels will recognize the Hunter family and know that they come with particular importance for young Ian (series regular John Bell). The Hunters are Quakers who value peace and non-violence despite the eruption of the Revolutionary War around them. When Ian arrives on their farm with a sick and injured William (Charles Vandervaart) [Jamie’s son] in tow, it throws their lives into upheaval.
