April TV Calendar
The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air throughout April:
April 1 – The Hallmark Channel movie Love in the Maldives will debut at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Rae Parker (Jocelyn Hudon) has a very fabulous, single life that attracts thousands of readers to her monthly travel column, “Reservation for One.” Rae is surprised when her editor wants to send her to the world’s most romantic vacation destination – The Conrad Maldives. She’s an adventurous spirit and staying at the luxurious Muraka makes it difficult for her to find the type of experiences she needs to write an article worthy of her column. It doesn’t help that Rae is terribly afraid of the open ocean and a hotel that floats in the middle of it. After a few failed solo attempts, Rae realizes she needs some guidance and support to undertake some of the challenges outside of her comfort zone. The Conrad’s Guest Experience Expert, Jared Joseph (Jake Manley), steps in and makes it his personal mission to give Rae the adventure she’s looking for.
April 2 – The MGM+ (formerly EPIX) series A Spy Among Friends will air at its new time of 9 PM starting tonight

April 3 – The season finale of Quantum Leap will air at 10 PM on NBC
April 4 – CBS will air the three-hour crossover event between the FBI series franchise tonight, starting with FBI: International at 8 PM, FBI at 9 PM and FBI: Most Wanted at 10 PM
April 5 – Schmigadoon! will be back on Apple TV+ for its second season that is being dubbed as Schmicago!
Show Synopsis: After Josh and Melissa were able to rediscover their love for one another with the help of the people of Schmigadoon, they were ready to head back to the real world. Unfortunately for them, they appear to miss the world of Schmigadoon and attempt to get back to it, but when they get back to that world, they find that it is VERY different. This time they find themselves in a darker, reimagined world of ’60s and ’70s musicals. Returning cast members include Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Ariana DeBose, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski, Aaron Tevit and Martin Short. Joining the cast this year are Titus Burgess and Patrick Page.
April 5 – The new Disney+ series The Crossover will debut online today
Show Synopsis: Based on the critically acclaimed best-selling novel-in-verse by Kwame Alexander, the series introduces teen brothers Josh and Jordan Bell (Jayln Hall and Amir O’Neil), widely considered basketball phenoms. Through his lyrical poetry, an adult version of Josh, aka Filthy McNasty, narrates the story (the voice of the narrator will be provided by Daveed Diggs) of he and his brother’s coming of age, on and off the court, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after basketball, and their mother finally pursues lifelong dreams of her own. The cast includes Derek Luke and Phylicia Rashad.
April 6 – The Paramount+ drama Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies will debut online today
Show Synopsis: The series will focus on the founding members of the Pink Ladies: Jane (Marisa Davila), Cynthia (Ari Notartomaso), Nancy (Tricia Fukuhara) and Olivia (Cheyenne Isabel). It will be set four years before the original movie, finding four fed-up outcasts who dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.
April 7 – The Amazon movie On a Wing and a Prayer will debut online today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After their pilot dies unexpectedly mid-flight, Doug White’s (Dennis Quaid) has to safely land a plane and save his entire family from insurmountable danger. The cast includes Heather Graham, Jesse Metcalfe, Brandon Quinn, Abigail Rhyne and Jessi Case.
April 7 – The season finale of Hello Tomorrow! will air online on Apple TV+ today
April 7 – The limited series Tiny Beautiful Things will debut online today on Hulu
Show Synopsis: Based on the best-selling collection by Cheryl Strayed, the series follows Clare (Kathryn Hahn) a writer who becomes a revered advice columnist while her own life is falling apart. Sarah Pidgeon (The Wilds) plays Young Clare while Merritt Wever and Michael Watkins co-star.
April 7 – The Netflix movie Chupa will debut online today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: While visiting family in Mexico, teenage Alex (Evan Whitten) gains an unlikely companion when he discovers a young chupacabra hiding in his grandpa’s shed. To save the mythical creature, Alex and his cousins must embark on the adventure of a lifetime. The film also stars Christian Slater and Demian Bichir.
April 7 – The Peacock movie Praise This will debut online today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: In a new cinematic musical event set in the world of Atlanta’s competitive gospel youth choir praise teams, a young woman (Chloe Bailey) with dreams of being a musical superstar is forced to join her cousin’s struggling underdog praise team in the lead up to a national competition. The movie also stars Anjelika Washington, Tristan Mack Wilds, Crystal Renee Hayslett and Cocoa Brown.
April 8 – The new movie The Professional Bridesmaid will debut on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Years ago, Maggie Bailey (Hunter King) realized she had a particular skill set for being an ace bridesmaid – and she went pro. Now she uses her talents to help brides navigate the tricky emotional and social dynamics that go along with planning their big day in addition to the practical. Her latest client, Alexis Shepard (Francesca Bianchi), is the daughter of Columbus’ Mayor who is up for reelection. Alexis’ wedding promises to be the event of the summer with lots of scrutiny, so the mayor’s team hires Maggie to join the bridal party and help keep everything on track. But no one can know that Maggie is a hired bridesmaid, so she is introduced as Alexis’ old friend Maisie. Unfortunately, Henry Whittington (Chandler Massey), an ambitious local reporter assigned to the society story is sniffing around hoping to get close to the mayor for a scoop on the pending development of local park land. To pull off her assignment, Maggie must coordinate three unhelpful bridesmaids, and keep Henry focused on the wedding while hiding her identity, even as she begins to grow closer to him.
April 8 – A marathon of all 12 episodes of The Nevers, including the six episodes that never aired on the canceled drama’s original network HBO, will debut on The Roku Channel via the WB TV Watchlist Channel
April 9 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie The Blessing Bracelet will debut at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Dawn Spencer (Amanda Schull) approaches the Easter holiday trying to balance being a single parent while working to get out of the debt left behind by her ex-husband. Feeling overwhelmed, Dawn unearths a bracelet she made years earlier and stored away. She created it using four beads with the intention of using each one as a reminder to count the blessings in her life. As Dawn begins to focus on the good, her faith is renewed, and her life takes a positive turn. Thanks to the support of Dawn’s church community and the encouragement by Ben (Carlo Marks), who recently came into her life, the blessing bracelets help take her down a path she never could have imagined.
April 9 – The original movie Southern Gospel will debut on UPtv at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When a rock n roll star’s life comes crashing down, he must fight his past demons to realize his childhood ambition of becoming a preacher. The film stars Katelyn Nacon and Max Ehrich.
April 9 – The Lifetime movie Giving Hope: The Ni’cola Mitchell Story will debut at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Ni’Cola Mitchell (Tatyana Ali), successful author, publisher and speaker, realizes at a book signing that her calling is to help disadvantaged girls. She understands what it is like to overcome huge hurdles in life including a difficult childhood and a cancer diagnosis, and after putting her own writing career on hold, she launches Girls Who Brunch, events designed to make young women feel seen and empowered. With the support of her sister Nene (Nadine Whiteman Roden) and daughters Diamond (Kudakwashe Rutendo) and Destani (Mikalah Reid-Beckette), she pours everything she has into the organization, including her own money and mobilizes volunteers, coaches and community leaders to help host events.
April 13 – The limited series Florida Man will debut online on Netflix today
Show Synopsis: When an ex-cop returns to his home state of Florida to find a mobster’s runaway girlfriend, what should’ve been a quick gig turns into a wild odyssey. The cast includes Edgar Ramirez, Clark Gregg, Anthony LaPaglia and Lex Scott Davis.
April 13 – The season finale of School Spirits will air online on Paramount+
April 13 – The Netflix limited series Obsession will debut online today
Show Synopsis: A respected London surgeon’s affair with his son’s fiancée turns into an erotic infatuation that threatens to change their lives forever. The series stars Richard Armitage and Indira Varma [among others].
April 13 – The final episodes of the fourth and last season of Titans will return today with two episodes being released on HBO Max
April 14 – Three episodes of the 5th and final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will air on Amazon Prime today
April 14 – The limited series The Last Thing He Told Me will debut online today on Apple TV+

April 15 – The Hallmark Channel movie The Wedding Cottage will debut at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A wedding guide creator (Erin Krakow) must convince an uninspired artist and owner of a special wedding cottage (Brendan Penny) to renovate the run down cottage to host a contest winning couple for their dream wedding.
April 16 – The season finale of A Spy Among Friends will air on MGM+ (formerly EPIX) at 9 PM

April 21 – The Apple TV+ movie Ghosted will debut online today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Salt-of-the-earth Cole (Chris Evans) falls head over heels for enigmatic Sadie (Ana de Armas), but then he makes the shocking discovery that she is a secret agent. Before they can decide on a second date, Cole and Sadie are swept away on an international adventure to save the world. The film also stars Adrian Brody, Mike Moh, Amy Sedaris, Tim Blake Nelson and Tate Donovan.
April 22 – The Hallmark Channel movie A Pinch of Portugal will debut at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When a celebrity chef walks off his show, prep cook Anna (Heather Hemmens) must step into the spotlight and make the show her own, with the help of her Aussie cameraman (Luke Mitchell) and Portuguese location scout.

April 28 – The new Amazon drama Citadel will debut its first two episodes online today
Show Synopsis: Eight years ago, Citadel fell. April 29 – The Hallmark Channel movie Hearts in the Game will debut at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Hazel Miller (Erin Cahill) is a top publicist in New York City looking to build her empire. Diego Vasquez (Marco Grazzini) is a top MLB pitcher who froze during Game 7 of the World Series. He also happens to be the guy who shattered Hazel’s heart in high school. When Hazel is tasked with spinning Diego’s image, it might be her biggest challenge professionally, and personally, as she takes him back to their hometown in Ohio to deal with what they’ve both left behind.
April 30 – The new PBS drama Tom Jones will debut at 9 PM
Show Synopsis: Solly McLeod (House of the Dragon) stars as the handsome, resourceful Tom while Sophie Wilde (You Don’t Know Me) stars as the beautiful and bright, seemingly unattainable love of his life, Sophia Western. He is a foundling of uncertain parentage, while she is an heiress. In 18th-century England, their class differences make their journey to find each other complicated and treacherous. Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham stars as the seductive and vengeful Lady Bellaston, who comes between Tom and Sophia. The cast also includes James Fleet, Pearl Mackie, Tamzin Merchant and Shirley Henderson (among others).
April 30 – The small screen adaptation of Fatal Attraction will debut online on Paramount+
Show Synopsis: The 6-episode reimaging of the classic psychosexual thriller stars Joshua Jackson and Lizzy Caplan in the lead roles. The series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders and coercive control. The cast includes Amanda Peet and Reno Wilson.
April 30 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Spring Breakthrough will debut at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Single mother Monica Rollins (Keesha Sharp) excitedly waits for her daughter, Vivian (Rhyon Nicole Brown), to come home for Spring Break, their annual tradition. Days before, after years of tireless dedication to her job, Monica is unceremoniously fired. To make matters worse, Monica is dealt with a second blow when Vivian announces her surprise engagement to Shawn (Akono Dixon), someone Monica didn’t even know existed and travels to The Gulf Shores for the engagement celebration. En route, she meets Clark Randall (Demetrius Grosse), who also happens to be Shawn’s godfather, at the airport and an unexpected flirtation ignites.
