San Diego Comic Con 2022

The 52nd Annual San Diego Comic Con will happen this week, and this year it will be in person!

Unlike the last two summers, the annual fete will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, many of the surrounding hotels, and countless other outdoor and indoor locations. Also, several of the NiceGirls staff will be on hand this year at the convention so be on the look-out for their coverage.

In the meantime, I wanted to share just some of the panels that will be happening from Thursday to Sunday this week.

Thursday, July 21:

Nathan Fillion and Niecy Nash will be on hand to talk about the respective shows The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds

The cast of and creatives behind the comedies Ghosts and Abbott Elementary will be on hand to talk about their shows

The Teen Wolf sequel movie will be previewed along with a look back at the iconic TV thriller

The upcoming Disney+ animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur will be on stage

There will be a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Disney+ original series National Treasure: Edge of History that is an expansion on the hit film franchise

Based on the book series and the (albeit failed) box office movie, Vampire Academy, the new Peacock series, will be discussed

The Freeform supernatural drama Motherland: Fort Salem, now in its final season, will take the stage

Friday, July 22:

The much-anticipated small screen adaptation of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will be discussed

The new Amazon series Paper Girls will be introduced

The cast of and creatives minds behind For All Mankind will be there to talk about their show

The one and only Keanu Reeves will be in Hall H

Wesley Snipes will also be on hand to talk about his return to comics in the new original series The Exiled.

The world premiere of Green Lantern: Beware My Power, starring Aldis Hodge, will be in Ballroom 20

Saturday, July 23:

There will be an exclusive screening of a new episode of the thriller series Evil along with appearances by cast members

The ladies behind The Hillywood Show will be on hand to talk about their latest, upcoming parody of Good Omens and talk about their other past parodies

Many cast members and the creative minds behind the latest, upcoming fantasy series House of the Dragon will be on hand to talk about the much-anticipated Game of Thrones prequel

The Star Trek Universe will be discussed inside Hall H

There will be a behind-the-scenes look at and an exclusive look at the official trailer for the small screen adaptation of Anne Rice’s Interview With the Vampire

Another much anticipated panel is for The Sandman, based on Neil Gaiman’s beloved comic series

Alan Tudyk and other cast members of Syfy’s Resident Alien will take to the stage

Marvel Studios will take the stage with an inside look at the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Kevin Feige and special guests on hand

And, of course, the one and only Kevin Smith will be on hand

Sunday, July 24:

The next big fantasy movie The School of Good and Evil, based on the book, set to star Kerry Washington, Laurence Fishburne, Michelle Yeoh and Charlize Theron will be discussed

And, there will be an exclusive screening of and a Q&A with the cast of What We Do in the Shadows
