Celebrating a “Lucky” 13

By  |

Back on June 2, 2009 I posted my very first weekly column here at NiceGirlsTV entitled “What Does Television Mean to You?” – which you can find here.

It’s been 13 – yep, “lucky” 13 – years since that article first went live and I still feel the same now as I did then: I love television!

Whether it is watching a new made-for-TV movie on Hallmark, a mini-series on PBS or all of my favorite dramas on the major and cable networks [and now all over the place thanks to the endless number of streaming services now available to us all].

It doesn’t matter if I was watching summer programming on the major and cable networks or watching the myriad of programming options during the TV season from September to May. I love it all!

There have been so many wonderful and exhilarating shows, movies and mini-series that have come and gone on TV in those five years that it could – literally – make your head spin, but what an amazing five years it has been not only on TV but also in the time that I have been on the staff here at NiceGirlsTV.

I have made friends with an incredible group of women who work under the umbrella of NiceGirlsTV and have had the opportunity to attend so many TV-related events, giving me the chance to interview really cool actors, producers, writers and more and participate in lots of terrific panels.

I have every intention to keep writing for NiceGirlsTV for as long as possible and I hope that our site’s faithful readers will continue on this awesome journey with me.

Here is to even more amazing years as a staff writer!
