The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services; those dramas that will come to an end, a special or two AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that will air throughout May:

May 1 – The UPtv movie Aloha With Love will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Gemma (Tiffany Smith from Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal), a big city architect, flies to Hawaii in order to handle the estate of her late Aunt. At her Aunt’s request, she must first renovate the house. Trevor Donovan also stars.

May 1 – NCIS: Los Angeles will air back-to-back episodes tonight on CBS at 8 and 9 PM

May 1 – Billy the Kid will move to its regular time slot of 9 PM on EPIX

May 1 – The season finale of Outlander will air on Starz at 9 PM

May 1 – The 4-part PBS drama Ridley Road will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Based on the Jo Bloom novel, and set in the summer of 1962, newcomer Agnes O’Casey plays Vivien Epstein, a young Jewish hairdresser who fits right into London’s mod scene, while secretly infiltrating the British neo-Nazi hierarchy on behalf of Jewish antifascists. The series also stars Rory Kinnear (Our Flag Means Death), Tom Varey (BBC’s The Village) and Eddie Marsan (Ray Donovan).

May 2 – The finale of The Endgame will air on NBC at 10 PM

May 3 – The Hulu drama The Girl From Plainville will air its season finale online today

May 4 – Moon Knight will air its season finale online on Disney+ today

May 4 – The season finale of Good Sam will air on CBS at 10 PM

May 4 – Good Trouble will air its spring finale on Freeform at 10 PM

May 5 – The second season premiere of Girls5Eva will air online on Peacock

May 5 – The season finale of Star Trek: Picard will air online on Paramount+

May 5 – The new sci-fi drama Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will debut online today on Paramount+

Show Synopsis: The spin-off will be based on the years Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise, as the crew explores new worlds around the galaxy. Rebecca Romijn and Ethan Peck co-star.

May 5 – The HBO Max limited series The Staircase will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on a true story, the series will explore the life of Michael Peterson (Colin Firth), his sprawling North Carolina family and the suspicious death of his wife, Kathleen Peterson (Toni Collette). The cast includes Juliette Binoche, Sophie Turner, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tim Guinee, Dane DeHaan, Parker Posey, Rosemarie DeWitt and Michael Sthulbarg.

May 5 – The Canadian drama The Porter will make its US debut on BET+ online today

Show Synopsis: Inspired by real events and set in the roar of the 1920s, the series follows the journeys of an ensemble of characters who hustle, dream, cross borders and pursue their ambitions in the fight for liberation – on and off the railways that crossed North America. The cast includes Aml Ameen (I May Destroy You), Ronnie Rowe Jr. (Star Trek: Discovery), Mouna Traoré (Self Made, The Umbrella Academy) and Alfre Woodard.

May 6 – The spin-off Bosch: Legacy will debut online on IMDbTV today

Show Synopsis: Bosch (Titus Welliver) embarks on the next chapter of his career and finds himself working with his one-time enemy, Honey Chandler (Mimi Rogers). The cast includes Steven Flynn, Madison Lintz and Phil Morris.

May 6 – The Amazon western supernatural series Outer Range will air its season finale online today

May 6 – The second season of The Wilds will premiere online on Amazon today

May 6 – The Netflix feature film Along For the Ride will debut online today [Note: The movie was moved to this date from April 22]

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: During the summer before college, Auden (Emma Pasarow) meets the mysterious Eli (Belmont Cameli), a fellow insomniac. While the seaside town of Colby sleeps, the two embark on nightly quests to help Auden experience the fun, carefree life she never knew she wanted. The film also stars Kate Bosworth, Andie MacDowell and Dermot Mulroney.

May 6 – The season finale of Magnum P.I. and Blue Bloods will air on CBS at 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 7 – The Hallmark Channel movie Warming Up to You will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A fitness expert (Cindy Busby) must get a movie star (Christopher Russell) into shape before shooting his next film. The film also stars Caitlin Stryker and Latonya Williams.

May 7 – The third season of Driven will premiere online on Passionflix today

May 8 – The UPtv movie Yellowstone Romance will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: As maid of honor, Olivia (Stephanie Bennett) plans her best friend’s bridal shower at a ranch where handsome rancher Travis (Christopher Russell) shows her that life, and love, could be great on a ranch.

May 8 – The long-running PBS drama Call the Midwife will air its season finale at 8 PM

May 8 – The season finale of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty will air on HBO at 9 PM

May 9 – New Amsterdam will air on NBC at 10 PM (special night presentation)

May 9 – The series premiere of the 5-night Hulu limited series Candy will debut online today, airing straight through until May 13

Show Synopsis: Candy Montgomery (Jessica Biel) is a 1980 housewife and mother who did everything right: good husband, two kids, nice house, even the careful planning and execution of transgressions. But when the pressure of conformity builds within her, her actions scream for just a bit of freedom, with deadly results. The cast includes Melanie Lynskey and Pablo Schreiber.

May 10 – The final two episodes of The CW drama Naomi will air at 8 and 9 PM

May 11 – The Netflix original feature film Operation Mincemeat will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie depicts the events surrounding the World War II plan Operation Mincemeant, a deception effort to keep the plans for the Allied invasion of Sicilty secret. Based on the book by Ben Macintyre, the film will star Colin Firth, Kelly Macdonald, Matthew Macfadyen, Penelope Wilton, Johnny Flynn, Jason Isaacs, Mark Gatiss and James Fleet.

May 12 – The Netflix drama Savage Beauty will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Seeking revenge for her tragic past, a mysterious woman (South African actress and singer Rosemary Zimu) embeds herself in a powerful family who possess a global beauty empire and dark secrets.

May 13 – The Apple TV+ drama The Essex Serpent will debut online today

Show Synopsis: The series is based on the Sarah Perry novel, which follows newly widowed Cora (Claire Danes), who, having being released from an abusive marriage, relocates from Victorian London to the small village of Aldwinter in Essex intrigued by a local superstition that a mythical creature known as the Essex Serpent has returned to the area. The cast includes Tom Hiddleston and Clemence Posey.

May 13 – The Netflix small screen adaptation of The Lincoln Lawyer will debut online today

Show Synopsis: An iconoclastic idealist (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) runs his law practice out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car in this series based on the best-selling novels by Michael Connelly. The ensemble cast includes Neve Campbell, LisaGay Hamilton, Becki Newton, Christopher Gorham, Jamie McShane, Reggie Lee, Michael Graziadei and Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine.

May 13 – The final episode of the Hulu limited series Candy will air online today

May 14 – The Hallmark Channel movie Road Trip Romance will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: An escalating series of unfortunate events keeps delaying a young woman’s (Natalie Hall) journey to her sister’s wedding; a journey she is forced to take with the guy (Corey Sevier) who was her biggest rival in high school.

May 15 – The HBO 6-episode drama The Time Traveler’s Wife will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Based on the novel by Audrey Niffenegger, the series tells the story of Clare (Rose Leslie) and Henry (Theo James), and a marriage with a problem…time travel.

NOTE: The show will also be available to watch on HBO Max.

May 15 – The Hulu limited series drama Conversations with Friends will debut online today

Show Synopsis: The series will follow Frances (Alison Oliver), a 21 year old college student, as she navigates a series of relationships that force her to confront her own vulnerabilities for the first time. The cast includes Joe Alwyn, Sasha Lane and Jemima Kirke.

May 15 – The UPtv movie The Nature of Romance will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Travel writer Jackie Sinclair (Kimberly Daughtery) goes luxury “glamping” with her best friend Annette. When she arrives at the nature reserve, she bumps into devilishly handsome park ranger Sean (Kimberly’s real-life husband Brant Daughtery), who offers to be Jackie’s guide in the hope she will write an article in one of her glossy magazines. It’s a bumpy ride at first, but as the pair embark on their adventure, sparks soon fly. Could this be love?

May 15 – The season finale of The Equalizer will air on CBS at 8 PM

May 15 – The 2022 Billboard Music Awards will air on NBC at 8 PM

May 15 – The season finale of The Rookie will air at 10 PM on ABC

May 15 – The Spectrum Originals drama Joe Pickett will be available to watch online on Paramount+ starting today

Show Synopsis: Game warden Joe Pickett (Michael Dorman from For All Mankind) and his family navigate the shifting sociopolitical climate of a rural town on the verge of economic collapse. When a murder victim winds up on Joe’s doorstep, the Picketts find themselves embroiled in a larger conspiracy. The series also stars Sharon Lawrence and Julianna Guill.

May 15 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Heart of the Matter will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Andie (Aimee Teegarden) is devastated by an accidental death of a patient, but as she and the grieving mother (Gail O’Grady) overcome their sorrow through forgiveness, they learn that acceptance leads to hope. Chandler Massey also stars.

May 16 – The season finales of 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star will air on FOX at 8 and 9 PM respectively

May 16 – The Good Doctor will air its season finale on ABC at 10:01 PM

May 17 – The season finale of The Resident will air at 8 PM on FOX

May 18 – A Million Little Things will air its season finale on ABC at 10 PM

May 19 – The new drama Kingdom Business will debut online today on BET+

Show Synopsis: The music-driven series follows Denita Jordan (Yolanda Adams), a gospel superstar who runs an in-house record label, Kingdom Records, in addition to acting as First Lady of First Kingdom Church, who is determined to guard her family and its many secrets at all costs. Just as Denita is enjoying the fruits of her labor, the world she’s worked so hard to put together begins to unravel when an unexpected contender in the gospel music scene threatens her status. Rbel (Serayah) is a young woman on the rise whose checkered past as an exotic dancer is no match for her destiny to turn the gospel world on its head with her new-found voice. The cast includes Michael Jai White and Michael Beach.

May 19 – The season finales of Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Organized Crime will air on NBC at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 19 – The season finales of Station 19 and Big Sky will air at 8 and 10 PM respectively on ABC

May 19 – The Peacock limited series Angelyne will debut online today

Show Synopsis: This limited series explores the identity of Los Angeles’ mysterious billboard bombshell Angelyne (Emmy Rossum). The cast includes Martin Freeman, David Krumholtz, Hamish Linklater and Michael Angarano.

May 19 – The season finale of the Paramount+ series Halo will air online today

May 19 – The 15th season premiere of the long-running drama Heartland will air at 8 PM on UPtv

May 19 – The Netflix original film A Perfect Pairing will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The story follows a woman (Victoria Justice from Victorious and Eye Candy) who, after quitting a dream job, decides to open her own business – and that means having to land a big client right off the bat. She then decides to go all the way to Australia in order to charm a family wine company into getting in business with her. Adam Demos (Sex/Life and UNReal) co-stars.

May 20 – The Hulu feature film The Valet will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Movie star Olivia (Samara Weaving) faces a PR disaster when a paparazzi snaps a photo of her with her married lover, Vincent (Max Greenfield). The hard-working valet Antonio (Eugenio Derbez) accidentally appears in the same photo and is enlisted to pose as Olivia’s new boyfriend as a cover up. The film includes Betsy Brandt, Amaury Nolaco and Marisol Nichols.

May 20 – The Amazon 8-episode series Night Sky will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Spanning space and time, Night Sky follows Irene (Sissy Spacek) and Franklin York (J.K. Simmons), a couple who, years ago, discovered a chamber buried in their backyard which inexplicably leads to a strange, deserted planet. They’ve carefully guarded their secret ever since, but when an enigmatic young man enters their lives, the Yorks’ quiet existence is quickly upended and the mystifying chamber they thought they knew so well turns out to be much more than they could ever have imagined.

May 21 – The Hallmark Channel movie Romance to the Rescue will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: To impress a potential love interest, Kyra (Andrea Brooks) enters her dog in an agility show. The problem is, she has no dog so she needs to find (and train) one and quick. The film also stars Marcus Rosner and Nathan Witte.

May 22 – The season finale of 61st Street will air online on AMC+ today

May 22 – The UPtv movie Harmony in Paradise will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Amelia, a respected wildlife journalist, is tasked with covering baby manatees in Puerto Rico about to be released into the wild, when she meets a handsome conservationist who helps her discover all the treasures the island has to offer. The film stars Liliana Tandon, Brian Krause, Thony Mena and Vivica A. Fox.

May 22 – The season finale of When Calls the Heart will air on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After being laid off from her job, budding photographer Beck (Maddison Bullock) realizes her dreams and enters a lucrative destination photography contest, heading off to the island of Serenity where her photography bug first. Staying at the Lemon Tree Farm, Beck is determined to help the handsome owner (Anthony Coons) save his picturesque farm with the power of social media.

Show Synopsis: The 6-episode limited series focuses on the rock ‘n’ roll revolution that centers around the Sex Pistols. Toby Wallace will star as Steve Jones, founding member and guitarist and is based on his memoir. Other cast members include Louis Partridge as Sid Vicious, Maisie Williams as punk icon Jodran, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Malcolm McLaren and Talulah Riley as Vivienne Westwood.

May 31 – The CW drama Tom Swift will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: As an exceptionally brilliant inventor with unlimited resources and unimaginable wealth, the devilishly charming Tom Swift (Tian Richards) [the character that was originally introduced in season two of Nancy Drew] is a man who many men would kill to be, or be with – a man with the world in the palm of his hand. But that world gets shaken to its core after the shocking disappearance of his father, thrusting Tom into a breathtaking adventure full of mysterious conspiracies and unexplained phenomena. The cast includes Ashleigh Murray, April Parker Jones and the voice of LeVar Burton.
