Ghosts Season Recap
Ghosts is airing it’s season finale tomorrow, thank goodness for a season two renewal, because this season was a delight! Before the season finale I thought we should check out what we have found out about our resident ghosts over the first season. Below you will also find the promo for the final episode of the season, “Farnsby & B”
Thorfinn
- His bones were found in the spot were the fountain is. Despite Sam and Jay giving him a proper Viking funeral he did not get sucked off (I am an adult and I will still never stop laughing at that and you can’t make me.)
- He was struck in the head by lightening – causing his death.
- He killed and ate his best friend – although it turns out after much hilarious drama his best friend was a squirrel (not a human)
- He used to sing lullabies to Hetty when she was a little girl and couldn’t sleep. Children have an easier time seeing ghosts and she assumed he was just part of the staff.
- He can cause electricity to flicker.
- He has a crush on Flower.
Flower
- She was killed by a bear. She was high and while in the woods saw a bear. In her state of mind she thought for sure the bear wanted a hug – the bear did not.
- She was part of a commune who committed a bank robbery. The money was supposed to be used to help animals in need.
- She and her boyfriend Ira stole the money from the commune to use it to help people in need. After her death Ira (who was able to outrun the bear) used the money to start a very successful line of fair trade coffee shops. He named it Daisy’s after Flower.
- Her real name is Susan.
- She has the power to make people feel a psychedelic high for an hour or so if she walks through them.
- She likes Thorfinn too but is always more comfortable in a throuple which he is not.
Pete
- He was killed by an arrow through the neck. He was accidentally shot by kids he was teaching archery to.
- His wife admits she cheated on Pete with his best friend, her new/current husband. Pete gets mad, he is never really really mad, but then he sees that his daughter has named her son Pete after him and all is mostly forgiven.
- He is a Pinecone/Nature Trooper (think Boy Scouts) and is pretty much always happy and has a can do attitude.
- He has a crush on Alberta.
Alberta
- She died by heart attack which during the season seems more and more like she was poisoned – intentionally.
- She has a super fan in this life who stayed at the mansion. Once she saw the tattoo of her face on his back she was less than enthused.
- She has the ability to interact with technology. Alexa for instance will do what she asks.
Sasappis
- He is a member of the Lenape tribe.
- He loves the smell of food (preferably pizza)
- He was a storyteller in his tribe and in death has many many stories of the ghosts that he shares.
- He helps Sam write the copy for the bed and breakfast website.
Trevor
- He died at a party at the manor after he OD’d and the other finance bro’s opted to not call the cops.
- He isn’t the douche he pretends to be.
- He has the ability to move objects if he puts enough effort into it.
- That ability allowed him to painstakingly create a dating profile where he connected with Jay’s sister. It didn’t end great.
Hetty
- She is Sam’s distant relative.
- She once possessed Jay after an electrical accident.
- She has progressively, during the series, become less “women shouldn’t vote” and “insert racial stereotype of old here” and more “free thinking”. I’m not sure she on board with pants on women yet but she is making progress.
- Her husband’s ghost was found in a safe on the property during the season. He was not a good person and thus when Hetty stood up to him and told him he could, “Go to hell!” he did just that. The floor opened up, turned red and down he went.
Isaac
- He died of dysentery.
- He invented a spy glass that went on a musket, calling it an eyescaac.
- He accidentally shot a British soldier, Nigel, while he was spying on him with the eyescaac.
- He has a crush on Nigel. Something he has kept a secret (although all of the ghosts suspect)
- Nigel lives on the property (out in a shed) with some other British soldiers and he and Isaac go for walks. It’s sweet.
- He has a disdain for how famous Hamilton has become.
What’s your favorite revelation about the ghosts? We’d love to hear it.
Ghosts airs April 21st on CBS.
