March TV Calendar

The following list provides the dates of the dramas that will debut, return or end on the major and cable networks as well as the streaming services AND the made-for-TV movies and so much more that all throughout March:

March 1 – The ABC drama Promised Land was pulled from the major network and will now air out the rest of its episodes on Hulu starting today

March 2 – DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman will be back on The CW with their finales at 8 and 9 PM respectively

March 2 – The Netflix movie Against the Ice will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: In 1909, a Denmark expedition led by Captain Ejnar Mikkelsen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau from Game of Thrones, who also co-wrote this film) was attempting to disprove the United States’ claim to North-Eastern Greenland, a claim that was rooted in the idea that Greenland was broken up into two different pieces of land. Leaving their crew behind with the ship, Mikkelsen sleds across the ice with his inexperienced crew member, Iver Iversen. The cast includes Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), Ed Speelers (Outlander and Downton Abbey), Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders and Gangs of London) and Heida Reed (Poldark and FBI: International).

March 3 – The Hulu drama The Dropout will debut the first 3 episodes of its freshman season online today

Show Synopsis: The series follows the story of Elizabeth Holmes (Amanda Seyfried) and Theranos, the technology company the college drop-out founded that was set on revolutionizing the healthcare industry, making her the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire who lost everything in the blink of an eye. The ensemble cast includes Anne Archer, Alan Ruck, Dylan Minnette, Elizabeth Marvel, Kate Burton, Kurtwood Smith, Laurie Metcalf, LisaGay Hamilton, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Michael Ironside, Michaela Watkins, Naveen Andrews, Sam Waterston, Stephen Fry and William H. Macy.

March 3 – The HBO Max 6-part series The Tourist will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Jamie Dornan stars as a British man who finds himself in the glowing red heart of the Australian outback being pursued by a vast tank truck trying to drive him off the road. The series is an epic cat and mouse chase that unfolds with “The Man” (Dornan) waking up in the hospital, hurt, but somehow alive – except he has no idea who he is. With merciless figures from his past pursuing him, The Man’s search for answers propels him through the vast and unforgiving outback.

March 3 – The second season of Star Trek: Picard will premiere online on Paramount+ today

March 4 – The Netflix drama series Pieces of Her will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on Karin Slaughter’s best-selling novel, the series follows what happens when an afternoon outing explodes into violence and a young woman’s view of her mother is forever changed. The show stars Toni Collette, Omari Hardwick, Terry O’Quinn, Gil Birmingham, David Wenham, Bella Heathcote and Joe Dempsie.

March 6 – The UPtv movie A Bridesmaid in Love will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Recently single professional bridesmaid and writer Cate James (Tori Anderson from NCIS: Hawai’i) is excited to help her best friend Maxine with her wedding day and is happily surprised to bump into Maxine’s handsome brother Matt (Sean Poague), who’s in town for his sister’s wedding. Just as the perfect pair get close, old flames come back into the picture confusing Cate even more – will Cate follow her heart?

March 6 – The 9th season premiere of When Calls the Heart will air on the Hallmark Channel at 8 PM

March 6 – Outlander will premiere its 6th season on Starz starting tonight at 9 PM

March 6- The new HBO drama Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: The series focuses on the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties – a team that defined an era, both on and off the court. The ensemble cast includes Jason Clarke, John C. Reilly, Adrien Brody, Julianne Nicholson, Jason Segel, Gaby Hoffman, Brett Cullen, Rob Morgan, Sarah Ramos, Spencer Garrett and Sally Field [among others].

March 6 – The second season of the Canadian medical drama Transplant will premiere on NBC at 10 PM

March 6 – The season finale of the third season of Britannia will air at 10 PM on EPIX

March 8 – The new NBC drama The Thing About Pam will debut at 10 PM

Show Synopsis: The series will be focuses on the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria (and the 2019 podcast) that resulted in her husband Russ’s conviction, although he insisted he didn’t kill her. His conviction was later overturned. This brutal crime set off a chain of events that would expose a diabolical scheme deeply involving Pam Hupp (Renee Zellweger). The series will also star Josh Duhamel and Judy Greer.

March 9 – The season finale of Pam & Tommy will air online on Hulu today

March 9 – The Flash will be back with its spring premiere at 8 PM on The CW followed by the second season premiere of Kung Fu at 9 PM

March 9 – The season premiere of Good Trouble will air on Freeform at 10 PM

March 10 – The HBO Max original series Theodosia will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the critically acclaimed 4-book series best-selling author Robin L. LaFevers, the series is set in 1906, centering on Theodosia Throckmorton [aka Theo] (Eloise Little) as she gathers an eclectic team that includes her younger brother Henry (Frankie Minchella), along with friends Will (Nana Agyeman-Bediako) and Egyptian Princess, Safiya (Yasmina El-Abd), to fight a powerful secret society bent on destroying the world with ancient Egyptian dark magic.

March 11 – The Apple TV+ drama series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Based on the novel by Walter Mosley, the series focuses on a lonely 93 year old man (Samuel L. Jackson) with dementia, who is temporarily able to remember his past and uses the time to investigate the death of his nephew. The cast includes Dominique Fishback, Walton Goggins and Damon Gupton.

March 11 – The fourth season finale of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will air online on Amazon today

March 11 – The second season of Upload will air on Amazon online today

March 11 – The Disney+ animated movie Turning Red will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Mei Lee (Rosalie Chiang) is a 13-year-old girl who is torn between being her mother’s obedient daughter and the chaos of her youth. As if that were not enough, when she gets too excited, she turns into a big red panda. Other voices will be provided by Sandra Oh, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, James Hong and Sasha Roiz.

March 11 – The 4th season premiere of Charmed will air on The CW at 8 PM followed by the 5th season premiere of Dynasty at 9 PM

March 11 – The Netflix movie The Adam Project will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The science fiction movie is about a time-traveling pilot (Ryan Reynolds), who teams up with his younger self (Walker Scobell) and his late father (Mark Ruffalo) to come to terms with his past while saving the future. Jennifer Garner, Catherine Keener, Alex Mallari Jr. and Zoe Saldana also star.

March 12 – The Hallmark Channel movie Feeling Butterflies will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Emily’s (Kayla Wallace) booming butterfly business delivers monarchs to a birthday party where she meets single dad, Garrett. With the help of Garrett (Kevin McGarry) and his daughter, Emily’s business begins to take flight.

March 13 – The UPtv movie A Honeymoon to Remember will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When a devastated Ava’s (Rebecca Dalton) fiancé leaves her at the altar, she’s determined to enjoy her honeymoon without him. Time away in a beautiful setting helps her figure out what she truly wants from a partner, but when her fiancé shows up unannounced, she’s more confused than ever… Can Ava forgive the man who broke her heart? Edward Ruttle also stars.

March 13 – The original movie The Presence of Love will debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Adjunct professor Joss (Eloise Mumford) travels to England to visit the farm where her late mother grew up and bonds with single-father, Daniel (Julian Morris), whose family now runs it.

March 14 – The season finale of The Cleaning Lady will air on FOX at 9:01 PM

March 16 – The mid-season finale of Resident Alien will air on Syfy at 9 PM

March 17 – The Netflix film Rescued By Ruby will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Based on a true story, a state trooper partners with a fellow underdog – a clever but naughty shelter pup named Ruby, to chase his dreams of joining an elite K-9 unit.

March 17 – The HBO Max sci-fi thriller limited series DMZ will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Alma Ortega (Rosario Dawson), a medic, becomes a symbol of hope in a demilitarized Manhattan Island while trying to also find her lost son during the Second American Civil War. The show is about a fractured people who are coming together. They have a Civil War between the Free States of America and the United States of America. It takes place eight years into that DMZ where the rule of law is basically dictated by the most powerful person at any possible time and that can change from block to block. The cast includes Benjamin Bratt.

March 18 – The Apple TV+ series WeCrashed will debut online today

Show Synopsis: The series is inspired by actual events, and the love story at the center of it all. WeWork grew from a single coworking space into a global brand worth $47 billion in under a decade. Then, in less than a year, its value plummeted. Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto star as Rebekah and Adam Newmann while America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle co-star.

March 18 – The Apple TV+ series Suspicion will air its season finale online today

March 18 – The Disney+ movie Cheaper By the Dozen will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This movie is a fresh take on the 2003 family comedy about the exploits of a blended family of 12, the Bakers, as they navigate a hectic home life while simultaneously managing the family business. The movie stars Gabrielle Union, Zach Braff and Erika Christensen.

March 20 – The UPtv movie The Wedding Fix will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Reeling from a break-up, professional over-planner Gwen (Andrea Brooks) pitches in to help put the finishing touches on her best friend’s wedding. But when she’s teamed up with best man Josh (Patch May), a free-spirited nature guide, she finds that pulling together this wedding might not be as easy as she thought.

March 20 – The mid-season return of Riverdale will air on The CW on its new night (Sundays) at 8 PM

March 20 – The 11th season premiere of Call the Midwife will air at 8 PM on PBS followed by the second season premiere of Sanditon at 9 PM

March 21 – The spring premiere of 9-1-1 will air on FOX at 8 PM followed by the return of 9-1-1: Lone Star at its new time of 9 PM

March 21 – The season finale of The Gilded Age will air on HBO at 9 PM

March 24 – The Paramount+ drama Halo, based on the video game, will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Master Chief (Pablo Schreiber), a cybernetically enhanced super-soldier, defends humanity from the alien Covenant in the 26th century. The cast includes Natascha McElhone and Bokeem Woodbine.

March 24 – The Passionflix movie Gabriel’s Rapture Part 2 will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The film finds Melanie Zanetti and Giulio Berruti back for the second half of the second movie in the franchise created by Sylvain Reynard.

March 25 – The season finale of Servant will air online on Apple TV+ today

March 25 – The second season premiere of Bridgerton will air online on Netflix today

March 26 – The Hallmark Channel movie A Second Chance at Love will debut at 8 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: On the surface, Alicia (Alvina August) and Arnold’s (Jarod Joseph) marriage is picture perfect, however, there is something amiss. Arnold is ready to grow their family, but subconsciously Alicia is hesitant to the idea. Rather than face the problem head on, Alicia, the self-proclaimed “love doctor,” immerses herself in her divorced parents Jack (Eriq La Salle) and Brenda’s (Gloria Reuben) dating affairs by setting them each up on a blind date dating app.

March 26 – The new series The Pact will debut online on The Roku Channel today

Show Synopsis: This drama follows a family who are strained past the breaking point by a post-apocalyptic world as they travel alongside other survivors seeking the cause and cure for the Miasma, a mysterious fog that drives victims insane. The cast includes Louis Mandylor, Rick Ravanello, James Marshall, Natassia Malthe and Robert Knepper.

March 27 – The 94th Annual Academy Awards will air on ABC at 8 PM

March 29 – The drama Promised Land will air its final episode on Hulu online today

March 29 – The 3-episode limited series The Girl From Plainville will debut online today on Hulu

Show Synopsis: The limited series is inspired by the true story of Michelle Carter’s unprecedented “texting-suicide” case that explores Carter’s relationship with Conrad Roy III and the events that led to his death and, later, her conviction of involuntary manslaughter. The series stars Elle Fanning, Chloë Sevigny, Cara Buono, Kai Lennox and Norbert Leo Butz.

March 30 – The Disney+ series Moon Knight will debut online today

Show Synopsis: The series follows Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac), a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt. The series also stars Ethan Hawke and the late Gaspard Ulliel.

March 31 – The Peacock drama Bel-Air, the reboot of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, will air its finale online today

March 31 – The HBO Max movie Moonshot will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: This sci-fi romantic comedy is set in a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer. Two college students wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others. The movie stars Cole Sprouse, Lana Condor and Zach Braff.
