New Show Introduction: Reacher

Reacher is the latest show Amazon is delivering and let’s just say I’m excited. The show follows Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson (Titans, Blood Drive) as he gets involved in a town with some secrets. Jack Reacher is a book character authored by Lee Child. This first season of Reacher is based on the debut novel Killing Floor.

The official synopsis is:

When retired Military Police Office Jack Reacher is arrested for a murder he did not commit, he finds himself in the middle of a deadly conspiracy full of dirty cops, shady businessmen and scheming politians. With nothing byut his wits, he must fiture out what is happening in Margrave, George.

To round out the cast we have a few NiceGirlsTV favorites, including Malcolm Goodwin (iZombie, Breakout Kings), Willa Fitzgerald (Royal Pains, Scream: The TV Series), and Maria Sten (Swamp Thing)

Also something worth mentioning is the drama that consistently surrounds casting characters from beloved books. Case in point – Tom Cruise playing Reacher in a couple of movies. Uproar and outrage followed. Alan Ritchson is the closest we have ever come to a replica of the book description. Hopefully, that will make a few die-hard fans a little happier.
