Paley Fest 2022 and Happy Holidays
After two years of virtual panels for PaleyFest, the annual TV event started over thirty years ago by The Paley Center for Media (nee The Museum of Broadcasting and then The Museum of Television and Radio), the 2022 event will actually be live and in-person (with COVID restrictions applying, of course).
Last week, the Paley Center for Media announced the first three panels that will be featured in the upcoming two-week salute to all things TV where cast members, writers, producers and showrunners take to the stage at the Dolby Theatre (formerly the Kodak Theatre) – located in the heart of Hollywood adjacent to the legendary TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s Chinese Theatre) – to talk about their shows.
Those shows included in the 39th Annual PaleyFest are:
This Is Us [which is entering its 6th and final season]
Riverdale [which is currently in the middle of its 6th season]
Better Call Saul [which will be going into its 6th season next year]
Each night will feature a moderated panel with “the hottest stars for exclusive behind-the-scenes scoops, hilarious anecdotes, and breaking news stories. Plus screenings of premiere episodes and never-before-seen footage.”
The full line-up for PaleyFest 2022 will be announced on January 18 with advance tickets going on sale for Paley President’s Circle, Patron Circle and Partner Members as well as Citi Cardmembers from January 18 to January 20. On January 20, advance tickets will be available to Paley Supporting, Family and Individual Members with tickets being available to the general public on January 21.
The official event will take place from April 2 through April 10, 2022 at the Dolby Theatre in the heart of Hollywood. Please keep in mind, however, that events and participants are subject to change; and that any Los Angeles-based COVID restrictions set forth around the time of the event will also apply.
