Dragon Con 2021: Friday Highlights

Friday was awesome and a great way to kick off Dragon Con weekend 2021!

I started the day by attending the Harry Potter panel with Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley). It was so cool to hear their stories and memories from being on the Harry Potter movies. Matthew shared an amazing story about how on his last day on set, he wanted to thank Alan Rickman. He went to his trailer and Alan gave him advice to do theatre and hone his craft. He told Matthew that he had what it takes and theatre would be great training for him. After Harry Potter his first acting gig was a play and Matthew said without Alan’s advice, he wouldn’t have the career he has today. It was very sweet.

It was Bonnie’s first Dragon Con and she was met with a warm welcome. She shared how being a part of the Weasley family meant so much to her. My favorite part of the panel was listening to Bonnie speak parseltongue live. It was pretty epic and gave me chills. My Gryffindor heart is happy!!

Next, I went to the walk of fame and I was so excited to meet Wallis Day! She is amazing as Kate Kane on #Batwoman (season 2) and I love her accent. She was so sweet. I love her energy! #girlcrush 💕

I was a panelist on The Devil You Know: A Lucifer Fan Panel at 7 pm and it was a blast. We discussed the OMG moments of the second half of season 5 as well as our predictions for season 6! It was unanimous that “Bloody Celestial Kareoke Jam” the musical episode was the panelists favorite episode of season 5. Thank you to everyone that came to chat all things Lucifer with us. The final season of Lucifer premieres on Netflix on September 10th.
