April TV Calendar
The following list provides the dates of the new dramas that will air on streaming services as well as the major and cable networks and the made-for-TV movies and more that will air during April:
April 1 – Manifest will air its season premiere on NBC at 8 PM followed by a new episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit at 9 PM and the debut of Law & Order: Organized Crime at 10 PM
Show Synopsis (Law & Order: Organized Crime): Christopher Meloni, reprising his role as Elliot Stabler, returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. Stabler will aim to rebuild his life as part of a new elite task force that is taking apart the city’s most powerful criminal syndicates one by one. The cast includes Dylan McDermott and Tamara Taylor.
April 1 – The Walking Dead will air its 10th season finale on AMC+ online
April 2 – The cable network debut of the 2016-2018 DirecTV series Ice will air on Starz at 9 PM
Show Synopsis: A diamond dealer navigates the culturally diverse and otherwise treacherous world of the diamond business. The cast includes Cam Gigandet, Jeremy Sisto, Donald Sutherland, Ray Winstone, Judith Shekoni and Audrey Marie Anderson.
April 2 – The Netflix feature film Concrete Cowboy will debut online today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Sent to live with his estranged father (Idris Elba) for the summer, a rebellious teen (Caleb McLaughlin) finds kinship in a tight-knit Philadelphia community of Black cowboys. The cast includes Lorraine Toussaint, Method Man and Jharrel Jerome.
April 2 – The Netflix 8-part drama The Serpent will debut online today
Show Synopsis: Serial murderer Charles Sobhraj (Tahar Rahim), known as the Bikini Killer, preys on Western tourists in Southeast Asia during the 1970s. Jenna Coleman co-stars.
April 3 – The Hallmark Channel movie One Perfect Wedding will debut at 9 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: With Cara (Taylor Cole) leaving on an international book tour in two weeks and Ben’s (Jack Turner) business expansion keeping him busy, the couple decides they won’t let work commitments postpone their nuptials any longer. So, they book the Clara Lake chalet and head back to where their romance began for a small, intimate wedding with friends and family just 10 days away. With the help of their best friends Megan (Rukiya Bernard) and Sean (Dewshane Williams), Cara and Ben feel nothing can stop them from having the perfect wedding.
April 4 – The UPtv movie When We Last Spoke will debut at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie centers around two sisters who, in 1967, are abandoned and raised by grandparents in the town of Fireside in this heartwarming tale of family, friendship and forgiveness. The film stars Corbin Bernsen, Melissa Gilbert and the late Cloris Leachman.
April 4 – The movie Color of Love will debut on Lifetime at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The movie follows Monica Henderson (Deborah JoyWinans), an African American widow with two kids who has so much love to give, she often fosters children who need a home. When she finds out that Peter and Rachel, the white brother and sister she fostered twice before, fled from their latest foster home, she takes them in again. Fearing the kids are in danger of slipping through the cracks of a flawed system, she begins the process of adopting them. Despite Monica’s mother and her boyfriend Theo’s beliefs that Peter and Rachel may be better off with a white family, Monica’s love for the kids puts the question of what makes a family to the test.
April 4 – The PBS 8-part series Atlantic Crossing will debut at 9 PM
Show Synopsis: A princess steals the heart of the president of the United States in an epic drama based on the World War II relationship of Franklin D. Roosevelt and Norwegian Crown Princess Martha. Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) stars as Roosevelt, opposite Swedish actress Sofia Helin (The Bridge) as the beautiful, politically astute Martha, who flees the Nazis with her three young children and lives under Roosevelt’s increasingly doting protection.
April 4 – The 27th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air at 9 PM simultaneously on TBS and TNT

April 7 – A Million Little Things will move to its new night (Wednesdays) at 10 PM on ABC
April 7 – The 5th and final season of Queen of the South will get underway tonight on the USA Network at 10 PM
April 7 – The reboot of Kung Fu will debut on The CW at 8 PM
Show Synopsis: A quarter-life crisis causes a young Chinese-American woman, Nicky Shen (Olivia Liang), to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China. But when she returns to San Francisco, she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption and her own parents (Tzi Ma and Kheng Hua Tan) are at the mercy of a powerful Triad. Nicky will rely on her tech-savvy sister (Shannon Dang), pre-med brother (Jon Prasida), Assistant District Attorney and ex-boyfriend (Gavin Stenhouse), and new love interest (Eddie Liu) as well as her martial arts skills and Shaolin values to protect her community and bring criminals to justice … all while searching for the ruthless assassin (Gwendoline Yeo) who killed her Shaolin mentor and is now targeting her.

Show Synopsis: Inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich today, Annie “Rebel” Bello (Katey Sagal) is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree. She’s a funny, messy, brilliant and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves. When Rebel applies herself to a fight she believes in, she will win at almost any cost. The cast includes John Corbett, Andy Garcia, Kevin Zegers, Sam Palladio and Tamala Jones.
April 9 – The series finale of Wynonna Earp will air at 10 PM on Syfy

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Two childhood best friends (Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy) reunite as an unlikely crime-fighting superhero duo when one invents a formula that gives ordinary people superpowers. The cast includes Jason Bateman, Bobby Cannavale, Melissa Leo, Melissa Ponzio and Pom Klementieff.
April 10 – The Hallmark Channel movie As Luck Would Have It will debut at 9 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Lindsey (JoAnna Garcia Swisher) travels to Ireland to acquire land that is perfect for a resort. She decides to enter the town’s world-renowned matchmaking festival to prove her investment in the community and win over a handsome local (Allen Leech from Downton Abbey).
April 11 – The UPtv movie A Love to Remember will debut at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: After a year of interacting exclusively online, Tenley (Rhiannon Fish), an eco-conscious horticulturist, finally works up the courage to meet her online crush, Jared. When Jared doesn’t show because of a bike accident, Tenley gets mistaken for his wife at the hospital. Soon, she’s forced to keep the lie up with Jared’s entire family and his annoyingly charming best friend, Everett (Edward Ruttle) in order to save Jared’s company.
April 11 – The movie Crossword Mysteries: Riddle Me Dead will debut on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Tess (Lacey Chabert) gets invited to be a part of a popular game show, but when the host is unexpectedly murdered, she and Detective Logan O’Connor (Brennan Elliott) seek to uncover who was behind it all. Barbara Niven also stars.
April 11 – The season finale of Pennyworth will air on EPIX at 9 PM
April 11 – The reality series Men In Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham will air at 8:55 PM on Starz

Show Synopsis: It is August 1896 when Victorian London is rocked to its foundations by a supernatural event which gives certain people – mostly women – abnormal abilities, from the wondrous to the disturbing. But no matter their particular “turns,” all who belong to this new underclass are in grave danger. It falls to mysterious, quick-fisted widow Amalia True (Laura Donnelly) and brilliant young inventor Penance Adair (Ann Skelly) to protect and shelter these gifted “orphans.” To do so, they will have to face the brutal forces determined to annihilate their kind. The cast includes Amy Manson, Ben Chaplin, Denis O’Hare, Eleanor Tomlinson, James Norton, Olivia Williams and Tom Riley.
April 12 – All Rise will be back with new episodes on CBS starting tonight at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: After getting ousted from the NCAA, a hothead men’s basketball coach (John Stamos) must take a job at an all-girls high school. He soon learns that teenage girls are more than just X’s and O’s; they require empathy and vulnerability – foreign concepts for the stoic Coach Marvyn Korn. By learning how to connect with his players, he starts to grow into the person he’s always hoped to be. The girls learn to take themselves more seriously, finding their footing both on and off the court. The cast includes Jessalyn Gilsig and Yvette Nicole Brown.
April 16 – The season premiere of Van Helsing will air at 10 PM on Syfy
April 17 – The Hallmark Channel movie Right in Front of Me will debut at 9 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Carly (Janel Parrish) gets a second chance at romance with her college crush but isn’t sure how to impress him until her new friend Nick (Marco Grazzini) starts giving her advice. Soon she learns who the right man for her really is.
April 18 – The UPtv movie Starting Up Love will debut at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When workaholic Jillian (Anna Hutchinson) gets a note that her long-lost, wealthy uncle has passed away, she finds he’s left her his beautiful mountainside cabin – and a family she never knew existed. Jillian’s plan is to sell it as soon as possible and move on, but when she meets handsome caretaker Liam (Rocky Myers), he makes her an offer she can’t refuse. Sparks fly as they work together to transform the cabin into a holiday resort. When business doesn’t go as planned and she almost loses her newfound family, Jillian needs to make a decision. April 18 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Matchmaker Mysteries: The Art of the Kill will debut at 8 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Angie Dove (Danica McKellar) gets Det. Carter’s (Victor Webster) attention by stumbling on a murder at an art museum. Angie’s father Nick (Bruce Boxleitner) is on his own case, trying to solve a series of petty thefts at the museum.
April 19 – Both 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star will return with new episodes on FOX at 8 and 9:01 PM respectively
April 19 – The AMC drama The Secrets She Keeps will debut at 10 PM
Show Synopsis: Two women have a chance encounter in a supermarket in an affluent Sydney suburb. They are the same age, both heavily pregnant and due at the same time. Meghan (Jessica De Gouw) is an online influencer on the rise. Agatha (Laura Carmichael) works in the supermarket as a shelf stacker.
April 20 – The season finale of Queen Sugar will air on OWN at 8 PM

Show Synopsis: The psychological thriller that follows two young women: Kate Wallis (Olivia Holt) , the popular girl with a charmed life who one day goes missing, and Jeanette Turner (Chiara Aurelia), the nerdy wannabe who is accused of being connected to Kate’s disappearance. All signs point to Jeanette’s guilt, but is Kate really who she seems to be? April 23 – The HBO Max movie Mortal Kombat will debut online today
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Why has Outworld’s emperor sent his best warrior, Sub-Zero (Joe Taslim), to hunt down MMA fighter Cole Young (Lewis Tan)? In search of answers, Cole finds his way to the temple of Lord Raiden (Tadanobu Asano) and begins unlocking the secrets of his heritage. April 25 – The UPtv movie Designed With Love will debut at 7 PM
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Clothes designer Skye (Kelly Van Der Burg) goes mobile with a “fashion truck” – but she can’t drive the truck and run the business alone. Help comes in the unlikely form of handsome entrepreneur Kevin (Benjamin Sutherland). As they work together, Skye and Kevin find they have more in common than they thought.
