Do You Remember: Dirty Sexy Money

By  |

The short-lived ABC drama Dirty Sexy Money debuted back in September 26, 2007 and was created by producer and writer Craig Wright (who wrote for Six Feet Under and Lost and created the recently ended OWN drama Greenleaf). Wright served as an executive producer along with Greg Berlanti, Bryan Singer and Peter Horton (among others).

The series revolves around lawyer and family man Nick George (Peter Krause), who agrees to become the lawyer for The Darlings, the richest family in New York, after his father (the long-time lawyer for the family) mysteriously dies in a plane crash. While the family constantly relies on Nick to solve their problems, which makes him struggle to balance his morals and family life while dealing with the family and the while trying to discover who committed the murder.

Dirty Sexy Money was the first new show from the 2007-2008 TV season to receive a full season order, but because of the 2007 writer’s strike the show’s first season only had 10 episodes. The second season didn’t take place until 10 months after the season finale of the first season; but the second season was plagued with being put on hiatus during its sophomore year and then in December of 2008 it was pulled from the line-up after only 9 episodes aired. The show was cancelled, but the final 4 episodes aired during the summer of 2009.
