The following list provides the dates of the new dramas that will air on streaming services as well as the major and cable networks and the made-for-TV movies and more that will all air during May.

NOTE: Please keep in mind that any of the following could easily change because of the COVID-19 pandemic that has altered our lives and TV production permanently.

May 1 – The new Netflix streaming series Hollywood will debut online today

Show Synopsis: A group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in post-World War II Hollywood try to make it big — no matter the cost. The ensemble cast includes Darren Criss, Dylan McDermott, Holland Taylor, Jim Parsons, Mira Sorvino, Patti Lupone, Samara Weaving and Rob Reiner.

May 1 – The Netflix feature film The Half Of It will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Shy, straight-A student Ellie Chu (Leah Lewis) feels isolated and friendless in her remote, backwater town of Squahamish, where she makes some much-needed extra cash penning homework papers for her fellow high school students. Ellie reluctantly agrees to help the lovelorn school jock Paul Munsky (Daniel Diemer) write love letters to Aster Flores (Alexxis Lemire), the girl they both secretly love. As all three embark on an unexpected journey of discovery, they form a complicated triangle of friendship as they come to terms with their own unexpected feelings about love and find connection in the most unlikely of places. The cast includes Enrique Murciano.

May 1 – The season finale of Blue Bloods will air at 10 PM on CBS

May 1 – Charmed will air its season finale on The CW at 8 PM

May 3 – The new UPtv movie A Moving Romance will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Emily (Ambyr Childers) inherits her family’s moving company and immediately butts heads with manager Scott (Keegan Allen), who thought he was being groomed to take over. The cast includes Jim O’Heir and Patty McCormack.

May 3 – The Showtime drama Billions will air its season premiere at 9 PM

May 3 – The 6th season premiere of Good Witch will air on the Hallmark Channel at 9 PM

May 3 – The 75-minute season finale of Westworld will air on HBO

May 3 – The season finales of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist and Good Girls will air on NBC at 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 4 – The season finale of All Rise will air on CBS at 9 PM

May 4 – Gold Digger is the new streaming series set to debut on Amazon Prime today

Show Synopsis: This 6-part drama focuses on Julia (Julia Ormond), a wealthy divorcee who incites the anger of her suspicious adult kids – and ex-husband – after falling for suave younger man Benjamin (Ben Barnes).

May 6 – The season finale of Riverdale will air on The CW at 8 PM

May 7 – The Sundance Now streaming series Bad Mothers will debut online today

Show Synopsis: Sarah’s (Tess Haubrich), suburban bliss is destroyed when her husband has an affair with her best friend, Charlotte (Melissa George), head of the Bedford Mothers’ Club. Ousted from the snooty club, Sarah finds unexpected support among the titular Bad Mothers. The new friends exact revenge on Charlotte, which leads to deadly results.

May 7 – The official timeslot premiere of Council of Dads will air on May 7 at 8 PM on NBC followed the season premiere of Blindspot at 9 PM.

May 8 – The 2nd season of Dead to Me will premiere on Netflix online today

May 8 – The new streaming series The Eddy will debut on Netflix online today

Show Synopsis: A jazz club in the heart of multicultural Paris faces danger in this musical drama series from La La Land director Damien Chazelle, starring Amandla Stenberg, Andre Holland and Melissa George.

May 8 – Dynasty will air its season finale on The CW at 9 PM

May 8 – MacGyver will air its season finale on CBS at 8 PM followed by the two-part season finale of Magnum P.I. at 9 and 10 PM

May 10 – The UPtv movie Change of Heart will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Straitlaced Diane (Leah Pipes) finds herself stranded at a delightful bed and breakfast where the friendly owner is keen on playing matchmaker for Diane and her handsome son. The cast includes Mackenzie Astin, Lindsay Wagner, John Ratzenberger and Rick Malambri.

May 10 – The season finale of Outlander will air at 8 PM on Starz

May 10 – The Rookie will air its season finale at 10 PM on ABC

May 10 – The new HBO 6-part limited series I Know This Much Is True will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: Based on Wally Lamb’s award-winning New York Times bestseller of the same name, Mark Ruffalo stars as identical twin brothers Dominick and Thomas Birdsey in a family saga that follows their parallel lives in an epic story of betrayal, sacrifice and forgiveness. The ensemble cast includes Archie Panjabi, Bruce Greenwood, Guillermo Diaz, Imogen Poots, Juliette Lewis, Kathryn Hahn, Melissa Leo and Rosie O’Donnell.

May 11 – The season finale of 9-1-1 will air at 8 PM on FOX

May 12 – The ABC drama For Life will air its finale at 10 PM

May 12 – The Flash will air its season finale on The CW at 8 PM

May 13 – The Sundance drama Liar will air its season finale at 11 PM

May 14 – The season finale of Station 19 will air on ABC at 9 PM followed by the series finale of How to Get Away With Murder at 10:01 PM

May 14 – The season finale of Katy Keene will air on The CW at 8 PM

May 15 – The new Hulu drama The Great will debut online today

Show Synopsis: This new series is a satirical drama about the rise of Catherine the Great from outsider to the longest reigning female ruler in Russia’s history with the story focusing on an idealistic, romantic young girl (Elle Fanning), who arrives in Russia for an arranged marriage to the mercurial Emperor Peter (Nicholas Hoult). The cast includes Charity Wakefield and Gwilyn Lee.

May 15 – The Blacklist will air its season finale on NBC at 8 PM

May 16 – The Hallmark Channel movie How to Train Your Husband will debut at 9 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Jillian (Julie Gonzalo) is a successful marriage therapist and best-selling author. Her career is going just as planned but her own marriage with grad school sweetheart Justin (Jonathan Chase) isn’t as successful. Jillian is an expert in marriages and has wisdom to spare for her clients but seldom listens to her own advice. With help from her mother (Peri Gilpin) and friends Nicole and Aaron (Karla Mosley and Andre Hall), Jillian is hoping to figure out “the secrets to a happy marriage.” But when Jillian finally realizes how she’s taken Justin for granted and wants to make amends, it might be too late.

May 17 – The UPtv movie Touched By Romance will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Young nurse Emma (Rachael Carpani) inspires a famous novelist to reconnect with her estranged son, Justin. With Justin’s arrival, Emma may just have found the companion she never thought she needed. The cast includes Sam Page, Tessie Santiago, Ernie Hudson and the late Doris Roberts.

May 17 – The season finales of Call the Midwife, World on Fire and Baptiste will air on PBS at 8, 9 and 10 PM respectively

May 17 – The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries movie Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek will debut at 9 PM [delayed from April]

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: The theft of a rare Elizabethan artifact on display at the Lawrenceton Library’s annual fundraising event leads to capital crimes, when Aurora Teagarden (Candace Cameron Bure) begins her unorthodox investigation and soon discovers not one – but two – murders committed by someone who would do anything to possess “Leicester’s Gift,” the Tudor crown on loan from the Seattle Museum of History. Niall Matter and Marilu Henner co-star.

May 17 – The season finale of Belgravia will air on EPIX at 9 PM

May 17 – The new TNT series Snowpierecer (based on the box office film of the same name) will debut at 9 PM

Show Synopsis: This small screen adaptation based on the graphic novel series and film from Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho (Parasite) centers on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train, with 1001 cars, that circles the globe. The cast includes Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs [among others].

May 17 – The new Starz drama Hightown will debut at 8 PM

Show Synopsis: This crime drama is about the fiercely flawed people using whoever and whatever they can to get through the night. The cast includes Monica Raymund, James Badge Dale, Amaury Nolasco and Riley Voelkel.

May 18 – DC’s Stargirl will debut on DC Universe today

Show Synopsis: The series follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to take up the legacy of a long lost superhero team – The Justice Society of America – and stop the villains of the past. The cast includes Amy Smart, Luke Wilson, Joel McHale, Neil Jackson and Neil Hopkins [among others].

NOTE: The show will also debut on The CW on May 19 at 8 PM.

May 19 – The new Netflix drama Sweet Magnolias debuts online today

Show Synopsis: The series based on the novels by Sherryl Woods follows three South Carolina women (JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley), best friends since high school, as they shepherd each other through the complexities of romance, career and family. The cast includes Chris Klein, Jamie Lynn Spears and Justin Bruening.

May 20 – The 7th and final season of The 100 will premiere on The CW at 8 PM

May 20 – The season finale of S.W.A.T. will air at 10 PM on CBS

May 21 – The season premiere of Burden of Truth will air on The CW at 8 PM

May 21 – The NBC special Red Nose Day Special will air for 2 hours, starting at 9 PM

May 22 – The season premiere of Homecoming will air on Amazon online today

May 27 – The season finale of Mrs. America will debut online on Hulu today

May 27 – The 7th and final season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air on ABC at 10 PM

May 28 – The CBS All Access drama The Good Fight will air its season finale online today

May 29 – The season finale of Defending Jacob will air on Apple TV+ today

May 29 – The Passionflix film Gabriel’s Inferno will debut online today

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Gabriel Emerson (Giulio Berruti) is a brilliant and enigmatic professor of Dante studies at the University of Toronto. His cold, aloof exterior masks dark secrets he successfully hides, though he has never overcome them. A lovely, intelligent graduate student in his seminar triggers a dim memory – one he cannot place, but which is key to the happiness he long thought was impossible. Julianne Mitchell (Melanie Zanetti) is a compassionate, kind young woman still struggling to overcome a childhood of neglect and abuse. When she enrolls at the University of Toronto, she knows she will see someone from her past – a man she met once, in an encounter she has never forgotten. Gabriel cannot recall what Julia knows: that they have a shared history rooted in an important moment of their lives. The story unfolds around the electrifying connection between Gabriel and Julia and their increasingly passionate affair. May 31 – The UPtv movie Groomzilla will debut at 7 PM

MOVIE SYNOPSIS: A newly engaged woman makes a wish that her fiancé take the planning of their wedding seriously, and to her surprise and dismay, her wish comes true. The film stars Darin Brooks, Elizabeth Rice, DeVaughn Nixon and Mark Derwin.

May 31 – Killing Eve will air its season finale on both BBC America and AMC at 9 PM

May 31- The AMC 3-part mini-series Quiz will debut at 10 PM

Mini-Series Synopsis: The mini-series tells the extraordinary and sensational story of how Charles and Diana Ingram (Matthew Macfadyen and Sian Clifford) attempted an ‘audacious heist’ on the U.K. quiz show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Michael Sheen stars as show host Chris Tarrant.
