MANIFEST Roundtable: Unaccompanied Minors

This week on the 11th episode of season 2 of Manifest:

As Zeke’s condition worsens and the clock ticks towards his Death Date, he must confront his past while Saanvi tries to secure him a future. A pair of connected callings lead Ben and TJ to a surprising loved one, and Michaela faces a moral dilemma when her own calling instructs her to let a criminal go free.

Stupid:

Roz: Defying a calling seems like a bad idea for Michaela, but Saanvi’s run of the hospital is totally unrealistic at this point.

Cay: How does Saanvi have such run of the hospital that she can “treat” Zeke? Did she tell people he has cancer? She’s an oncologist by specialty, although it’s been a long time since we’ve seen her do anything clinical. So, did she get tossed out of her lab for violating some research protocol (experimenting on herself!), or is it the Major trying to shut her down?

Roz: I don’t even know who is stopping Saanvi but it’s something to worry about in the long run.

Awesome:

Roz:This week most of the callings seem to work together (save Michaela) which is a good way to keep the show from being too confusing.

Cay: I’m glad that Michaela finally told Jared the truth and I’m so happy that they are mending their relationship. I so much prefer good Jared to evil Jared!

So-So:

Roz: I don’t love how Zeke’s dad popped up just before Zeke decided to marry Michaela. There’s something going on there that isn’t making me feel good.

Cay: Michaela and Zeke getting married just seems like a bad idea.  Would she have said yes if she didn’t think he was dying? It sure seems like they are setting him up to die,  but I don’t trust this show not to throw out red herrings!

Your Thoughts:

Roz: Those shadow guys are making me really nervous.

Cay: So, are the three shadow guys like 3/4 of the horsemen of the apocalypse or something?  What are the callings and why would they want the meth/shadow guys to remain free? That sure suggests that the callings are not benign things.

What’s the Major up to? We haven’t seen nor heard from her for a while. How does she fit in with the shadow guys, or are they unrelated?

Roz: Yes, Cay! Where is the Major and why haven’t we seen her in ages?
